I experienced storm damage to my roof and called 4 different companies to quote on the work. Out of all of them, Ohio Exteriors was my clear choice. The owner, James, was the most responsive, helpful, and genuine person I had spoken withduring the entire process. In fact, he was the ONLY one that took the time to break out a ladder and walk the roof. On his way up the ladder he noticed some fairly significant hail damage to my aluminum siding. No other contractor bothered to check. Thankfully my insurance company rocks and when the inspector agreed with James' assessment, they covered the roof AND the siding. I gave Ohio Exteriors my business on that fact alone. The roof was redecked and vented and was adorned with significantly better quality dimensional shingles. The siding was replaced With easy care vinyl and I was even afforded a nice architectural detail by combining a clapboard with cedar shake design. My house looks 1000% better than I had ever imagined. Ohio Exteriors helped turn what was a most nerve- racking experience into a really exceptional one. I have recommended them to four people so far and each one called back to thank me for such an awesome referral. Give them a chance and you will understand as well as I do...

They did few minor repairs outside my house as a special offer from Angie's List. I got an estimate for siding replacement. They attached few pieces of siding and checked to make sure if everything was okay. They came out and did a good job. They were very nice. They came out two separate times. I will definitely recommend them to others.

They performed caulking around our windows. We noticed that alot had been missed so they came out again. They ordered a piece of new siding for us in the wrong shade, and before it was replaced, they charged us double what the quote had been.They stopped returning our calls when we would call inquiring when the work would be finished, so my husband had to call from a work phone and only then did they answer!! Overall, it was a painful and long process. We wish we could have spoken to the owner as we requested and not the bozo answering the phone.

Called for a roofing estimate on a 1250 sq ft ranch (approximately 25 square for the roof) based on reports that I read on this site. I have a two layer tear-off prior to new roof installation with possibly a couple sheets of new plywood (mildewed leaking area of the roof). The company estimate was approx.$8200 and that was if I locked in during the month of August for a future work date. If I waited until September, their "materials costs were going up" and my quote was then $8900. I found a co-worker's family member who has been in roofing for 20 years with two others working for him instead of tiers of marketing and sales. He does it all. Estimate $5050. There was also a question of whether or not my eaves were excessive requiring two courses of "ice block". First estimate from this company said yes, I needed that and second estimate said no, I don't. What's the truth....I'm not sure.

They were great. They did an excellent job. The workers were quiet, and there were no problems whatsoever. I looked out the door one time, and they just did their job. Everything is holding up. It looks good. I would recommend them to other people. While I have had them last year, I had a windstorm. They were helping me with my insurance company and everything. I don’t think the insurance company would do one, but Ohio Exteriors just did everything for me. They worked with the insurance company and everything. My house looks so good. I went past it one day and went past it. They told me what it would cost and that is what it cost.

The BIG DEAL was done on time. Got an estimate for addiitonal work - decided to do the wood replacement - had to call the sales rep 3 times before my call was returned. The contractor who did the work was on time / courteous / professional - did all the work requested

James and Mike made suggestions as to what type of siding would look best on my house: board and batten on the front of the house and regular siding on the sides and back. The installers were on the job for 2 days, working well into the evening. The job came out even better than I expected. The details and finishing were impressive. I would definitely do business with them again.

I have a low-slope roof on an addition to my house, and I had covered that roof with a "rubber membrane". Unfortunately, due to squirrels, raccoons, and tree branch droppings, the rubber membrane developed a hole in it that ultimately kept getting bigger. The hole was bad enough that water damaged the plywood under the membrane and leaked into my second floor laundry room.Mike, the sales person that handled the project, recommended a product called "Mule Hide", which is specifically designed for low-slope roofs. The Mule Hide product is not only durable and thick, but also matches up very well with the regular shingles I already had on an adjoining roof. Plus it comes with a 30-year warranty.The 2 guys that came out to install the roof were considerate, efficient, and thorough. They even removed an old, non-functional chimney I had on my roof.I will definitely be calling Ohio Exterior up again for some gutter maintenance I have on my old Victorian house.

They did a nice job; they were very professional and informative.

I had a list of things that I wanted some one from the company to look at. This was work beyond what the coupon would cover. They never contacted me about any of the additional work.

I bought a big deal siding and windows package coupon and it was great because the company is also notified when you buy one, so they contacted me before I got a chance to contact them to schedule an apt. I was very happy about that. One person came out and I asked that they focus more on the windows, caulking and resealing around the edges. He showed me what he did in the front, he said he also did the back windows but I didn't see the wet caulk there when I looked. Overall he was very professional and explained what he was doing and told me what I had to look for in the future. I was pleased

Used this company as a result of an Angie's list "Big Deal'. They were very easy to work with and very accommodating to my schedule. They completed the work and followed up shortly after to make sure I was happy with their work. I will probably be scheduling additional work with them -- I was very happy with their work from start to finish.

I was extremely pleased with the service performed. The roofer was very professional, knowledgeable, answered all my questions, examined areas that concerned me, and fixed an odd leak around the chimney flue that I couldn't track down. The cost was well worth it! I even received a follow-up call from Ohio Exteriors, asking if I was satisfied with the work performed. Not too many companies do that these days. I highly recommend Ohio Exteriors.

I called them out for an estimate on July 12th and Bill provided an estimate quickly. Initially they estimated a small repair and we thought we had a match for shingles. When the roofing crew came over they realized the shingles did not match and because of that they would need to re-roof that section of the house so there would be no mismatched colors. The said they could schedule within a week but partly due to weather and partly due to them trying to work me in between other jobs it wasn't until the 23rd that they did the roof job. It was a little frustrating because I felt that since my job was small they kept moving me around to take on other projects. But ultimately they got the job done and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves very well. The siding crew was out a few days later once the aluminum siding order arrived. They planned to be there about half a day but ended up working 10 hours. They took their time to make sure the work was done well. I was very pleased with their work. They did a great job and I would use them again.

Overall, this company is great! I called to explain that our job wasn't a big one but may involve a couple pieces of our siding getting replaced. I explained to them that the siding was pulled up from the side of our garage due to storms. We had tried to push it down and "fix it" on our own but this section just kept coming loose as soon as another storm blew through. Ohio Exterior did explain that they were a couple weeks back on their appointments but would come out on the above work date and take a look. They did and it turned out to be an easy fix without the expense of buy new siding and we haven't had a problem with this section of our garage ever since! Very pleased! I can only imagine they are so busy because they do such a great job!

Overall it was an easy process. Ohio Exteriors did a great job tearing off the old roof, installing the new roof, and cleaning up at a very affordable price.

Besides cleaning the gutters, mostly I wanted to know how many years I have left in the roof and they told me, and suggested what products and services might suit me (but the inspection wasn't an excuse for a sales pitch - I asked them)

they came and gave me a full report on my roff in writing and also checked all protusions such as vents

I used them on the Angie's List Big Deal. The must have gotten a lot of calls on that offer because it took them a couple of weeks to get back to me. But, once I got scheduled the technician came out promptly and checked my downspouts. He immediately fixed what needed to be fixed. Once I got scheduled their responsiveness was good. He came back and fixed my shingles several days later. Their price was reasonable. I will use them again in the future.

Service has been paid for in advance but not provided. We want a refund.

I do have larger newer gutters, but still had ice damming this winter and am concerned there will be future issues.

After a windy storm I had some loose/missing siding. When I called (Weds.) I was told that they were very busy, but after I described the extent of the damage, the dispatcher thought they could fix me up within an hour and asked if they could call me back in a few minutes. 10-15 minutes later he called back saying he had a contractor available who was on a job, but thought he could swing over to our neighborhood during his lunch break and do the work. A fellwo cam over that late afternoon - looked at the damage agreedwith my description - commented that if he had brought his ladder he would have done the repair right then. The next day the man came back, and fixed the siding (the damaged and missing pieces were on the top corner of the house) fixed it in ~30 minutes. I provided the siding (had it in storage) he provided skill and equipment. They squeezed me in during the lunch hour. Charged me their minimum fee ($95.00) - which was fair but I felt a little high.

The service and quality of work was great! The owner, James, handled the whole process from start to finish and made it easy and pain free! His crew came out early in the morning and worked all day, they tore off the old roof and replaced it in one day! They did an excellent job! I would highly recommend Ohio Exteriors! They did such a good job that I am having them replace my gutters, downspouts and facia and soffits!

The work was excellent. James and Chris were very responsive and polite. Honest opinions were shared throughout the process regarding the style and architecture of the house. All of the workers were professional and very courteous. My eighty year old house has been completely transformed and looks like a new home. I chose this company because it was clear that they wanted my business from the moment I first called for an estimate. Their estimate was not the lowest, but was less than other companies which did not respond to my request for information and the needs of the property. Ohio Exteriors was the right choice.

I called them on Thursday 3/24 at 9am and asked for an estimate to repair siding on a single family home. The person I spoke with told me that he would have "the owner" go by the home after 3pm that same day and they would get back to me after that. That was 5 days ago now... and no call back. That's not good service in my book.
