The entire experience was positive. From the minute we made the initial contact, they made themselves availble to help us understand the process.

They were very responsive to my intial call. Someone came and did the inspection, then I heard nothing more for several weeks. When I called to follow up I was told the person whe did my inspection was no longer with the company and his notes were incomplete so they could not do the promised write-up without another inspection. We scheduled another inspection with the same results. The inspection was performed again, and now 5 months later I have still not received the promised written results of the inspection. A lot of inconvenience and money with no results. My money has been refunded with an explanation of why they were unable to perform the advertized services.

The employee arrived promptly at the scheduled time and did a very good job of checking all sides/areas of the exterior and then adjusted/tightened areas that had moved due to wind storms or that were sagging. As he performed the work the employee did a very good professional job of explaining what he was doing and why that area needed attention. He completed all repairs that were needed within the contracted time and he went over again in layman's terms what he had done and why it was needed prior to his departure.

I can't even begin to thank Ohio Exteriors enough for the job they did from start to finish. I received 4 estimates from companies that were rated very highly on Angie's List. James, the owner of Ohio Exteriors came out to give me an estimate. Although, his estimate wasn't the lowest, it was right in line with all the others. I believe that James did the most thorough job inspecting our original roof. He took lots of photos and went over everything in detail with me. I was worried about the sag in the roof on our addition and I really wanted a company that was equipped to deal with whatever the root cause of it was. On two of the estimates that I received, the person did not even notice or mention the sag in the roof that we have known about since our home inspector pointed it out when we bought the house. I had to point it out to them. James was always very patient with me and treated me like he had nothing but time for me. I called him several times before choosing his company to asks lots of questions. He was always very patient and wanted me to understand everything and make an informed decision. It took about 2 weeks to get started on our roof. Carlos and his crew were great to work with. They were very courteous and professional. They were on time and did a great job cleaning up each day they were here. They were also respectful of the recent landscaping I had done. We were not prepared for what they discovered on our addition. I was thinking we might need to replace rafters but never imagined the truss would be almost all rotted out. James called in another salesman he has working for him that used to build custom homes to take a look. I was emotional at that point and full of dread. I knew we would be adding a huge expense to the job. James and Bill (I think that is his name) were so sweet and reassuring. They conferred and determined a plan of action. We wanted to save our wood ceiling and we were also heading in to Easter weekend. They tarped everything off and came back several days later to build a temporary wall in the addition to support the ceiling and rafters while they made all the needed repairs. All the extra work was done at a very fair price. I know a lot of companies would have probably charged way more. I am extremely happy with the finished product. I could have gotten estimates from companies that I know would have been cheaper but you get what you pay for. I will most definitely use Ohio Exteriors again. Next summer I am looking at replacing my deck and will be giving them a call.

Scheduled an estimate for siding on the front of my garage. Bill Thompson arrived promptly for our appt. I scheduled the work a couple weeks later. Mr. Thompson returned for me to sign contract. Mr. Thompson informed me that the materials did not arrive this week and would be on next weeks delivery. It took a couple more weeks before materials arrived and the work was completed. However, Chris, provided me with updates so as to keep me informed. Dave arrived on 03/29/12 and got right to work. Dave did a great job and cleaned up well!

I've done business with these folks twice now and I must say, they're very professional and go above the bar in making sure I'm happy. Thanks guys for your hard work!

I was please with Ohio Exteriors from the start. Bill Thompson, thier sales rep, came out to give me a quote and actually walked the roof to determine his estimate. They came in lower then other quotes I received and offered a better value. Bill also explained a better option for venting option for my roof. Ohio Exteriors also offered a financing option which gave me 12 months same as cash. They came out very quickly and installed the roof. The owner also came out after the work was was done to make sure I was happy with the service. I would highly recommend them for the roofing service.

They were good. The price was higher then I thought.

Weather was our biggest obastacle in completing this job on schedule:( The crew worked very hard in some very nasty weather. Communication with the crew was frustrating at times and am sure frustrating for them as well. The company made us feel very comfortable in picking up the phone and calling, and Bill Thompson was always there. Windows in garage were not the ones (very close) to what I was expecting to have installed. Price adjustment was made by company and since the windows were installed perfectly, I did not pursue, for I was VERY satisfied with the end result. I am a detail orientated person, so I went over the completed job with a "fine tooth comb". Our salesman went through this with me on at least two occasions before the company was paid in full. I would recommend Ohio Exteriors to friends and family, knowing that there first priority is customer satisfaction. P.S. Bill, you took pictures of before and after and what an amazing improvement! Get those pictures up on your website in the near future- for you said I was the first adobe cream and ivy color combination!

They first came to our home to perform some repair and caulking etc. to our existing windows and doors installed when the home was built in 1990. They did a fine job, but there's only so much to be done with 20+ year old aluminum windows. A trend began in this first experience that led us to look at doing further business with them. We enjoyed having the owner, James Green, and his co-worker Dave in our home. I mentioned we might consider new doors and windows as they were finishing and "the boss" had his salesman visit later that day. Another trend - everything happened timely with Ohio Exteriors. We of course sought other estimates in a project of this size and expense. I then talked with James and mentioned that I didn't know as much about the windows they would be installing. He suggested he could bring the rep from Polaris windows with him to talk with us further. This sales visit too was excellent, not something I normally enjoy. The Polaris Sales Manager, Roger Collins, was outstanding and again, someone we were glad to have in our home. He also offered a perk at no additional cost to us. We worked out the details and contracted for the job at this point. The attic insulation was free as part of a Ohio Exteriors promotion and our total investment came in just below what we would have spent with the closest competitor - without the insulation. They gave us an estimated date for the windows to be ready. The insulation was completed within about a week and we then received a call a few days later that the windows were ready ahead of schedule. The door and window installation was much like the rest of our experience with Ohio Exteriors. It was completed timely and with clear attention to detail, even including a couple minor extra things they did for us. With work just completed I can't yet exactly measure our energy savings, yet our home is noticably queiter and previously existing drafts are gone. To give a somewhat more tangible example, we had company later the same day they finished. It was cold and very windy outside. We sat and visited for a couple hours with a total of 7 people in the house. I noticed the furnace wasn't running and checked the room temperature, it was 2 degrees higher than the thermostat was set. The sum total of the quality of service, our total experience from start to finish, is the best we have had in 20+ years in the home. I did not mention everyones name, but the fact that every single person with or associated with Ohio Exteriors was courteous and profesional, indeed friendly, set this servce apart. Kudos to the "Big Boss Man" and everyone from Ohio Exteriors!

The company owner did an excellent job from start to finish (check and monitor the progress of work a few times, delivery the promise he made, responsive to concerns/returning phone call and making sure the crews cleanup pretty good at the end). Good quality of work.

They were supposed to send me a report with photos if they found anything, but I never heard back from them at all either way. I was planning on staying while they looked at the roof, but something came up for work and I had to leave. They told me they would follow up and send more information, but never did. I have left several messages at their office but have not heard any response.

In the end, the final product was outstanding. I am also very pleased with James. Here is why: The salesperson came out early Fall to give us quotes on fixing the deck and doing some work on the front of the house (We had had our roof replaced two years ago and I was not happy with the company who did the work). So...I called Ohio Exteriors. They started doing some work in late October with interior work. Derick was outstanding and was a very hard worker. They couldn't deliver our windows until Thanksgiving because we ordered special grids. We hadn't heard back from Ohio Exteriors when in late November James called me personally. He was honest that their salesperson had left the company and our order was kind of messed up. This caused me to be a bit concerned. He however wanted to make everything right for us. James Green did make it right. James came out not once but twice to meet with me to get all information. I had questions concerning the window size and prices. James went over all the prices and work detail and made sure that the correct people were in charge. After the windows arrived, he had the Polaris people install the windows themselves. He met with me with the Polaris representative as well as their installers. He had Derick who is a carpenter by trade fix all the exterior work. He redesigned the slopes and flashing around the windows so we won't have any leaking in the future around our windows. Derick and the exterior painters got the front looking very clean, just like I wanted. James also walked around the back and noticed a future leak spot with his naked eye and asked Derick to take care of that with no extra charge. Before James had the windows installed I had asked him about full screens and the lower windows needing to be shatterproof. We found out that the salesperson did not take care of that. James agreed to take care of the full screens and the shatterproof windows at no extra cost. At the same time he told me that he was going to have a $500 refund for us because the estimate was too high for the cedar replacement. At that time I told James to please keep that and put it toward the windows and screens as it amounted to at least that much. He had earned my trust! As I said before we are really pleased with the work done and the windows. Started out strange, but James is a wonderful man who I trust big time! I am planning on having Ohio Exteriors do more work and replace windows in the back of the house. Our front of the house inside feels much warmer and as we drive down the street our house looks clean and sharp. It is much quieter in the house as well. We know if there are any complications that James will take care of it and I look forward to working with James and Ohio Exteriors again real soon!

The owner came out the day I called since he lived in my area he said. I got an estimate and he said he could do the work in aprox 2 weeks once he finds matching siding. They called one week later because of a cancellation and did it within an hour or so. Very professional and good work. I was very satisfied with the price and company. Thanks

Good communication, timely and neat

A very positive experience. There was no damage to the roof. We will contact this company again when there is need for roof repair or replacement.

This was one of the top rated companies on Angie's list. We wanted to get a quote on insulation &/or roofing. Their sales rep was running late for our meeting, but at least he called and said so. When he arrived, we asked him to quote the insulation job first, so he climbed up into the attic, took pictures, and came back down and explained everything his company could do for us and gave us a quote on the insulation. We were impressed with his knowledge and started to feel that this company might get the job. Then we asked him for a quote on the roofing. He went outside and made some measurements all around the house, went to his car, sat there for about 15-20 minutes, then left. We haven't heard from him or the company since and never did get the quote for the roofing job.. Because of that, we used another Angie's list top-rated company to do the insulation job. It's unlikly we'll have them do the roof.

I had a very good experience with them.

My initial experience was good. I requested an estimate via email based on their listing on Angie's List and promptly received a phone call from their office manager the next business day. I had a job manager out later that week to assess the project and give me an estimate. I received a quote on the spot and, after pricing around, found it was quite reasonable. Given the evident expertise of the job manager and the good reviews on Angie's List, we went ahead and put in a 50% deposit. At the time we were told it was a 2 1/2 week lead time and 1-2 day job. This was on October 13th. On October 31st, I had heard nothing about the job and started calling. Finally, we were scheduled for November 7th but no one showed up until the 8th. The job was completed in 2 days as indicated and we were pleased with the work. We were then told the gutter work would begin shortly after. 11/16, called to ask about the schedule and was told the job would be done on 11/23. I was away that day and came back to find nothing had been done and we had not been notified. Several phone calls the following week, finally scheduled for December 1st. The job was done and we were happy with the quality although it was clear the team wasn't fully informed about the plan for the project. Later I asked for an adjustment to our bill given the numerous cancellations, delays, and phone calls which were never returned. After a couple weeks and more phone calls they knocked $50 off the bill. My basic take away is that the work was done well but they were a headache to deal with. I'm lucky enough to work from my home office but was unhappy about all the schedule changes as it was. If I had an office job and rearranged my schedule to be on site each time, I would have been livid.

Complete siding of house and garage, gutters replaced and garage door installed very professionally. Very please on work completed. Enjoyed working with associates of Ohio Exteriors.

Their salesmen came out see if I needed addtional insulation for my attic. I did and later a man came out to go over my report. Everyone was very professional and nice. I had the work done and the two guys that came to do the work were great. Very nice and did a great job . They really didn't make much of a mess concering the job and it was spot less when they left. I am feeling the difference in the warmth of the house and the furnace isn't coming on as much. Great job all around !!!!!

very good. They only reason I did not use them is that ABLE roofing presented a shingle that would save on my homeowners insurance (a savings of $600/year every year). I couldn't pass that up since I plan to be in this home a while

Dave and Chris arrived right on time and Dave explained what are the things they are going to take care. Since I had already told them there is a window leak, they inspected and caulked around the window. They sealed other windows as well. Dave was also installed a flashing at one of the roof area. He pointed out other potential issues around windows and possible remedy. Overall I liked their professionalism and the work they performed and would use their services in future.
