I signed up for the big deal through Angie's List. I called the next day and they said they were busy with the storms and would call back to schedule in 1-2 days. I never heard back from them, so I called a week and a half later and scheduled the appointment for this Monday at 9:30 am. Nobody ever showed. After I called to complain, they called me back and apologized and asked if I wanted a refund or wanted to reschedule. I first said I wanted a refund but then reconsidered a few minutes later and scheduled them to come out today at 12:30. They never showed up again and an hour later still haven't called or tried to contact me. I would certainly never hire a company this unprofessional again and I will be contacting them for my refund this time!

The lack of communication from the technician and lack of apologies for our missed work, in addition to work we still need to have done, has made a very bad impression on us. We tried twice to continue this repair work. This contractor showed no respect for our time.

Great experience from start to finish. I certainly feel as though I got my money's worth, actually more!

My husband and I are very pleased with the work this company did and will use them again if they need arises. It was a little hard to get a hold of someone in person. Half of the time we would get an answering machine telling us to leave our name and number. But they came out in a timely manner (within a week). Gave us a very fair estimate in our opinion. We bought and painted the boards that were to be replaced to try and keep our cost down. At our request, Ohio removed siding from lower on our house and used it at the higher location so it would blend. The newer siding was placed lower on the home so it wasn't as obvious that it was new. Shrubs and plants hide the new siding. The replacement of the boards at the top of our home look great.

The experience started with a leak on a flat (rubber) portion of my roof that came up unexpectedly. I called nearly 10 roofing companies, all with "A" ratings from Angie's list, and of all those companies, Ohio Exteriors was one of only two companies who came out with 24 hours to help.Even more impressive was, despite acknowledging to both companies a possibility of replacing the entire roof (after the initial repair), Ohio Exteriors was the only company to agree to do the repair prior to rain that was supposed to come within 24 hours of their visit regardless of the purchase of the entire roof.Because of their amazing responsiveness, professionalism, and compassion...I agreed to move forward with replacing my entire roof and continued to be impressed.They were on time and extremely punctual during the entire repair completing my entire sprawling roof in under two days. This even included calling in a tuck pointer to help with a chimney that was in disrepair.I have been remodeling this home for around 6 years, others for nearly 10. I also have many friends who do contracting and I can count on one hand the number of times that I have been even close to this impressed with someone's work.Just a great experience all around....

They came out as scheduled. We were impressed with their professionalism and efficiency. We intend to use this group again.

Overall, they were very easy to work with. I had to start and stop the bidding process several times due to family illness, and they were very patient, and ready to pick up where I left off each time. They managed the permit process, which in my town was not easy at all. When it was time to get started, they came when they said, and were done in a few days. They did use subs, but I was very comfortable with them.

Ohio Exteriors did a wonderful job. Bill was patient in answering many questions we had beforehand and we appreciated his honesty. We have a very large roof, yet the entire job, with the exception of the insulation instalment, took only two days. The insulation was done a week later and only took an hour. Despite the enormous mess that was necessarily generated in the process, when they were done, our yard and landscaping were left immaculate The workers were prompt, courteous, and professional. The end product is a very nice looking roof and no more leaks! We highly recommend Ohio Exteriors.

I found the deal to be a bit overpriced for what they did. They gentleman that showed up to do the work was a bit unprofessional in appearance, and informed me that this was not his normal line of work. He was installing weather-stripping on all my windows and doors. He started working on the windows, and I had to tell him to also include the doors. I brought this up to the owner and he was very happy to come out and examine the work, as I was unsure of the quality. However, he did not offer me any kind of refund or credit on the work. I was not impressed by the service on this occasion.

They did an excellent job. He went above and beyond with the window washing.

Definitely use Ohio Exteriors. They did a great job and thier integrity is top notch.

I called the top 8 companies on Angie's list, 7 answered the phone, 6 said they'd give me an estimate, only 5 actually came out and 4 talked to me. The lowest bid was $8k, highest was $15k, we went with the middle at $13. Most estimate meetings were pleasant, others not so much. We decided on Ohio Exteriors because they were polite and the reviews were very positive. From start to finish the work was excellent, I would highly recommend them if you are like me, and want to know EXACTLY what is going on. After signing the papers and giving them 50% up front, they gave me a verbal detailed timeline. If it wasn't for the drywalll guy arriving 2 hours late on a Saturday morning, the experience would have been flawless. We also had a slight glitch with the drip edge, but it was resolved without problem and fixed within a couple days. I only found two nails, thankfully not in my tires. Everyone from the secretary to the estimator, work crews, and owner were very respectful, courteous and a pleasure to to business with. My advice: get a few estimates (include Ohio Exteriors), if the price is in your budget, go with Ohio Exteriors, you will be glad you did.

From tearing off the old shingles to installing the windows, overall the experience was pleasant and rewarding.

I purchased a coupon and within a week or two they came out. It was just a coupon service. I have to admit that I have been very happy with all the big deals except for that one as I felt it wasn’t worth the money. He didn’t do anything. He held his hand up to the windows to see if there was air coming and I can do that. He held up his hand towards the door to see if there is a draft. He noted the back door was wharf but it is not hard to see because I just bought the house and we hadn’t moved in yet. I would spot that eventually and he said nothing could be done about that. He put some water stripping around the back door but it didn’t stay on and it came off within a day or two. I thought he was going to do more. He said my windows are in good shape which is nice to know but I thought he is going to use some sensor to see if there was air leakage or something. He was pleasant, nice, and courteous and kept the appointment. The service they provide for that coupon was not worth the money. I didn’t learn anything and I didn’t feel like I gained anything. What they offered was really overpriced. I don’t remember him being late or missing an appointment. He didn’t do anything spectacular but he wasn’t unprofessional. What he did didn’t impress me but he wasn’t rude.

They came, they saw, they conquered and they left. It was fine. They showed up on time. They did what they said they were going to do.

The entire experience was excellent from initial meeting to the final inspection done by the owner himself. Everyone was professional and friendly. The men who did the roofing left our yard clean and none of our landscaping was affected. (They even complimented my choice of color.) The final inspection was not just a meeting - the owner actually walked the entire roof! We are very pleased and will recommend this company to neighbors and friends.

They were pretty good when I called. They sent someone out who knew what they were doing with a rubber roof. They did a good job with what they were supposed to do.

They got here and they got the job done; nothing is leaking and all was good. They did good followup service. They pointed out some areas that were in need of future repairs.

Our roof is beautiful. If you need any roofing or exterior repairs I would call Ohio Exteriors! However, I would recommend confirming how the delivery of the materials will be handled. A very large truck arrived to deliver and lift the materials on the roof. Due to some underground lines and concern for our drive cracking, it was quite a task for the truck to unload and move the materials necessary which delayed the first day a bit and was stressful for me and the job foreman.I would not sign for the truck to enter our property, James had one of his workers sign so Ohio Exteriors would take responsibility for it so if there was any damage it would be taken care of. Definitely ask how this is handled because if you sign for the delivery, it is a separate company delivering materials and any and all damage is your responsibility- if you have an older drive, a thin drive or a blacktop drive...trust me this truck will crack it I have had experiences with this issue. There are other methods for delivery and lifting so be sure to ask so you are not surprised on the morning they begin to do the work like I was. I do not think that Ohio Exteriors was withholding information, I just think that for them it is an everyday standard procedure, and for the average home owner, you do not get a roof very often and do not think about that type of thing. They did accommodate us and all worked well, I would just like to warn anyone no matter what roofing company you use to ask this question. We had a vent leak a year later and they returned to fix it. The down side is my newly painted ceiling has water marks and no effort or offer was made to come fix it. I can do it but don't think that I should since I ad them professionally done less than a year ago .

Great communication. They arrived in a timely manner, performed the inspection and gave a written assessment for us.

I noticed a leak in my living room this morning as it had been raining all night and off and on throughout the day. I called Ohio Exteriors and they had someone at my house in 20 minutes - no emergency trip fee either! The young man they sent was very courteous and responsive. He went immediately to the source of the leak as well as a survey of the entire roof. He noticed an even more serious problem - 2 roof caps were missing toward the center of the house and water was coming in - he showed me a picture he had taken with his camera. Thankfully it didn't come into the house and he was able to replace the caps using shingles that I had and also repaired the original leak I had called about in about 30 minutes and under $200. He probably prevented a serious roof repair in the future. I will definitely use them again and refer their company to others.

Went fine. They did not have the correct materials to repair the squirrel damage and missing flashing, but they returned to complete the work at a mutually acceptable time.

This was a terrific company to work with. Dave arrived for the roof inspection promptly, and completely went over the roof to check for any problems. Mostly the roof was fine, being less than 4 years old, but he did find that the chimney cap should be painted (he said that their company did not do this, but advised us on how to do it ourselves, and what type of company does the work). He also found a crack in one skylight, which was not a surprise as we've had some leaking and they were the originals - 22 years old. He gave us a complete report on everything else; what was fine, what we should watch, and tips to keep things in good shape. He also emailed photos later of the skylights and chimney cap. We were very impressed with his thoroughness and knowledge. We asked him about a quote on replacing both skylights, and he said he would have the office contact us with a salesman. The office followed up the next day, and sent Bill out within the week for the estimate. There was no pressure, and everyone was pleasant and easy to work with - we scheduled the skylights to be replaced a week later. Again, the guys arrived promptly. Dave ran into problems with the way the old skylights were installed, but he handled it beautifully, and spent most of the day getting everything right. Because he had to cut some drywall, he covered things inside the house and offered to clean up any mess. (There was very little, and I took care of it myself while they were finishing up on the roof - but it was impressive that he offered!) We couldn't be happier with our skylights, and the service and professionalism we received. The final price on the skylights was slightly higher than the estimate, but it was very reasonable considering the extra work that was required. We would certainly use Ohio Exteriors again.

This was a very positive experience from the first meeting with James Green, the owner of Ohio Exteriors. The project was discussed in detail and quoted. The team was punctual and courteous, and answered any questions we had. There were some additional repairs discovered during the work and the tasks and additional costs were discussed with us before proceeding. The roofers left the yard as they found it, with nothing for us to clean up. James returned when all the work had been completed to be sure nothing had been overlooked and to make sure we were satisfied with the work that was done. I highly recommend Ohio Exteriors and will definitely hire them again for future projects.

Project went very well. Salesperson was prompt, knowledgeable, and thoroughly explained the estimates provided. Service crew was prompt, professional, and did an amazing cleanup job -- no trace of anything was left in the yard and they took great care to protect the landscaping around the house. Would highly recommend this company to others.
