It went okay, it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. They nailed down a few shingles. They said they would come later that afternoon but that kind of caught me off guard. I was happy with the inspection.

It went quickly. They arrived. Walked the roof. Hammered in the gutter nails. Fixed the leak I pointed out to them.

My service appointment was at 1:30 p.m. but Lloyd Hartshorn called to see if they could come a litte earlier, which was great! He introduced himself and asked me what kind of specific problems I was having so I should him a side of the house where the vinyl siding was loose and blowing with the wind. He explained the process of what he and his partner will perform before they got started. Later during his work, he stopped to inform me that my outside dryer vent did not have a screen on it so little crittters could get into it. I never knew that. Great catch Lloyd!! He put a screen cover on it. He also informed me that my windows had good caulking on it which some building usually don't do all the way around the windows.At the completion of his work, he told me that my vinyl siding was in good shape and they took care of all the loose spots. Very professional, polite and courteous. Great job guys!!

I think they used poor quality materials. Some seals did not hold up.

Ohio Exteriors LLC came and performed an analysis of insulation, and how much insulation is needed. Unfortunately, my deal of $500 of insulation only applied if I purchased more than $500 of their services. The "estimate" they gave was for over $2000, so I am not sure if the $500 amount was "absorbed" and therefore, no true deal. Partly I am to blame, as I did not read the fine print details

I ended up not using the coupon, but they were fine to deal with by phone and when they came out for the estimate.

Great job. took around 90 minutes and crew was very polite and friendly. Very thorough and neat. They swept entire floor and I didn't expect that as I could not see ANY mess from job.

They were very responsive, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We had a problem and he came out and diagnosed the problem immediately and was very honest in doing so. We have had a good experience with them. We would use them again.

I bought a discounted price offer for attic insulation. They came out and assessed my needs and then scheduled a day for the install. They blew in the insulation and then left. They closed a door in my attic that I didn't even know that I had! When I walked into my house that evening, I could already feel the coziness and warmth.

In summary, this was one terrible experience in the field that was salvaged by good customer service at their office. I warned them that I have a tall, narrow Victorian house and that they should probably send two guys (this was allowed per the deal). They sent over one guy and he started the inspection. At first I thought it was fine. He even helped me trim some trees in the back and dig out some debris from the back gutter. Then when I asked him when he'd be getting on the roof and hammering in loose nails he said he didn't have the equipment to get up there and that he would need to come back with a crew. He also started examining my gutters only, said that they were faulty and gave me a ball park quote to replace them all. He said he could come back later to give a more detailed quote. All told, he was there less than an hour (coupon said 4 I think) and did very little of the work that was promised per the deal and a large amount of time quoting future work. I called to complain and their customer service person made it right. They said that he shouldn't have been quoting other work before the promised work was done. They arranged to have someone else come over and actually get on the roof. He did and the roof was fine. He didn't even suggest gutter repairs, just regular cleaning. All told, I have to give a C because of the hassle of rescheduling and my agitation with the first guy. I think sometimes they contract people out to do these large Big Deals, so proceed with caution and make sure you're getting one of the "in-house" guys.

Ohio Exteriors LLC showed up on time and explained what they were going to do. I thought it was a little expensive for the work they performed.

Not a good deal. They arrived on time, spent 15 minutes on my roof, told me very hing looked fine, hammered in one nail that was raised and left. I love Angie's in many ways, but her Great Deals are not great deals!

The deal I bought from Angie's list couldn't be used since it only covered vinyl sidings, and mine is aluminum. But Lloyd was very nice and professional. He checked my sidings and provided a free estimate for the repair. I decided to go ahead. Lloyd came in right on time, though it was quite cold that day. He finished the repairs perfectly. The bill reached a couple of days later, and I found that there was a mistake. I emailed Liz, and she got back to me immediately and made the correction.

Inspector was very thorough & professional. Only only negative was that it took a while and two calls for them to send to me the final report, as promised.

They called us right after we bought it to let us know they were going to set something up. They came out to give an estimate to my husband. They gave us quotes for almost 1600. I told them that I thought what I bought was for $500 of insulation, they said that it was $500 toward a whole house insulation. It is in the fine print, I didn't notice it. She was very polite when I spoke with her. She couldn't have been nicer. She said that it is in the fine print, confirmed that with Angie's List. Angie's List is giving me a refund for the Big Deal.

I was partially satisfied. One thing they did that I did not appreciate was they found an area on the roof, a couple of shingles that needed to be replaced, and they folded it back so that whoever came back they would know exactly where it was. What they should have done was marked it instead of folding it back because they actually exposed everything that was underneath. They did reattach some shingles that had come loose.

I couldn't believe how quick they got out here. He inspected the roof and said it looked just fine. He even cleaned out the gutters while he was up there. The only thing that he charged me for was the trip out which I thought was pretty awesome. You don't run into too many that are that nice anymore.

We hired Ohio Exterior to do a Angies List deal of two hours of gutter and roof repair. Unfortunately, I mentioned we might have some storm damage that I wanted an estimate for and that was all they focused on. I did use them to do the later roof repair and they worked with my insurance company, but I didn't get the work during the first prepaid 2 hour visit. Instead, I'm still need to hire a handyman or someone to reattach downspouts etc Also I asked during their roof repair visit for an explanation of some water damage spots on the garage ceiling, but they never got around to looking at that, or if they did , they never got back to me with what it was. They just didn't seem thorough. UPDATE: I received a message on February 18th from Liz at Ohio Exteriors asking me to call her to discuss this review. I did return her call, but didn't get her live on the phone until the beginning of March. Around the same time, I notice the business had responded that they had repeatedly tried to reach me. I checked my email, voice mail and caller ID, and saw only the one call, Liz leaving her message Feb 18th. I asked her to take the response down. It's still there, four weeks later. Additionally we talked about my original review. She told me that they had complaints about the Angies Deal I bought, and wanted to talk to her owner and get back to me. She told me she would call me back on the following Monday. When I didn't hear back, I called the following Friday. Again, I was told she needed to talk to her owner, again I waited a week and called again. This repeated with me calling to follow up weekly, until today. I called, the receptionist told me Liz wasn't available, and offered to give me the owner's personal phone number. I told her I was tired of following up and that my original review stood, that they hadn't done anything to convince me that review was unfair or wrong, that the owner was welcome to call me and because they had done work for me, they had my information on file. I also said I would be updating my review to reflect the latest experience I had with them. I am also contacting Angies List to request their response be taken done. It is absolutely incorrect.

I purchased a " special offer". When the tech arrived he was not equipped to do the job. He called the office to reschedule. I told him I would give him a bucket full of slates, so he could come at their convenience,I knew I would be busy for several weeks. I didn't want my schedule to limit him. The office called and said they could reschedule but they couldn't honor the "special offer", I said I didn't want it at that price.As far as I knew it was just a game of bait and switch.I asked for my bucket and slates back. To date I have not heard from them or seen my bucket and slates!!!!!!~!~ Angie's list did refund the amount I paid for the " special"

We are very pleased with the service provided by Ohio Exteriors and highly recommend their service. Our home is noticeably warmer and the furnace runs less now that the house has been re-insulated.

The crew arrived promptly. They worked diligently cleaning all of the gutters and bagged the debris. They tapped in loose spikes as they went. Then they secured and caulked loose and damaged shingles and secured and caulked all of the flashing. They documented and photographed the damaged areas of the roof. They were very polite and did excellent work.

The technician was very friendly, but I don’t think the products that were used were of top quality. Some of the sealing, especially around the doors, has already come off.

I enjoyed my experience with them. They first gave me quote. I was happy with them. They were on time and they were professional.

Did inspection and repaired some loose gutters and siding. On time and did a good job.
