Company called to say they were on their way to our home to provide an "estimate" for services. We specifically signed up for the "$500 worth of insulation for $99" but apparently that was quite deceiving. They only wanted to offer a whole house insulation estimate, at which time I'm sure they would have offered a discount on the total insulation install. This is NOT what the add stated. We canceled the appointment and they did refund our money. However, I feel they were dishonest in their advertising.

A customer service rep called the day after we bought the Angie's List Big Deal, which we appreciated. A two-man crew arrived on time on the scheduled date, and completed their 1.5 man-hours of labor promised in the deal. We were not initially provided with an estimate for further repairs or roof replacement. We expressed our dissatisfaction, however, and were subsequently contacted both by the owner of the company and one of his representatives--they sent someone out in a timely manner to do another inspection and provide an estimate for roof replacement as initially promised.

They came out and gave a fair estimate. They were thorough, friendly, and completed the work on time.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Ohio Exteriors. Bill was great! He met me on my schedule to walk through the damage. He was very imformative and taught me a lot about the issues I was having. He came back out to meet the insurance adjuster to ensure all issues were reviewed by the adjuster. I always knew where they were in the process and I know they would have done a great job. Ultimately, I ended up going with a comparable company to save money, but I only have great things to say about Ohio Exteriors. I will definitely keep them in mind for any future jobs. First, I don't know why I got this Big Deal in winter. They had to re-schedule two times due to snow on the roof (not their fault, but why offer this in winter). I knew my roof was in pretty good shape (relatively new), but there were a few issues I wanted them to check. They were not on the roof that long and returned to my front door and I stood there with it open in the cold while they listed the cost of repairing the issues I had pointed out. I guess I paid $199 for an estimate. They said they pounded down some shingles but I did not hear anything. I do take responsibility for the decision to do this, but just thought it would be something more. I really felt that they should have asked to come in and explain everything and not to stand in a doorway. I think this is a good company because they did check and ask me about their service when it was done. I expressed my confusion on what was being offered and the woman on the line said the owner of the company felt that customer service was important and probably would call me. He did not. I don't think this incident is indicative of their work, but it is only about the "Big Deal" they offered and what I got (an estimate for work).

I called for an appointment and was promptly scheduled. Bill arrived on time and took pictures of the attic and the amount of insulation already there. He recommended that we install baffles that would allow proper ventilation in the attic and not allow the insulation to block the vents. I learned a lot from him and scheduled the work. When they came back, the guys were prompt and respectful of my needs. They completed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up and left me with R49 insulation, as promised!

The materials were delivered as scheduled. A full crew and the foreman arrived at 8:00 am. The company owner was there to go over the details. The crew worked carefully and diligently. They cleaned up and hauled away all debris, 2 dumpsters full. They finished by 4:00pm. The quality and appearance of the work was excellent. The entire process went smoothly and the results were excellent! I highly recommend this builder for roofing replacement.

It went well! After they did the maintenance work on the Roof, They took some pictures of the roof and showed me that I have some shingles that needs to be replaced and replace Boot rubber. But no major damages. So they gave me estimate and I'll probably get this done before weather. By the same company Ohio Exteriors.Roof

They were very professional and helpful. They came and did exactly what I wanted done. There has not been a leak since. They did a very good job. They gave me a 10% discount because I am a senior. They really did an excellent and referred other providers to use.

The service was bad. They did not do much. It was not beneficial. It was not what I was expecting.

First off, I am no longer an Angie's list subscriber. I give Angie's list an A+ for refunding my money. I needed my soiled pipe and gutter cleaned and purchased the deal for $150. The payment was charged to my credit card and I was emailed a voucher to call the company and schedule an appointment. I called and got an appointment set up for 2:30pm, and left work early to meet the workers. No show. I called the company and they said the worker didn't have the correct size ladder to get up on the roof. I found that odd, I've been on my roof many of times with a 12 foot ladder. I have a two story and you can access the roof from the front of the house. So I rescheduled for 4pm two days later. I left work to meet the worker again and waited around untile 4:30 pm. Again, no show. I called the company and the lady on the phone gets her script ready. They stopped by your house earlier today and the gutters look fine, downspouts are clean and roof is in great shape. I told her I have specific jobs I wanted completed. I have a birds nest in the corner and the soilded pipe is leaking. How can I verify the work was completed if I'm not watching the workers? I actually got up on the roof and verified the nest still in the corner. So the lady on the phone says I'll have the workers come back and verify the work was complete. Next day at 5pm, two workers come up to the front porch while I was waiting for them and I asked if they completed the work yesterday. They said no. Well that's funny because the shop said the work was completed. By that time one of the younger workers mumbles we got caught again. I called the shop to complain and the lady said the owner would stop by the next day. Guess what, no show. The whole kicker is they market their company with "God Bless", I can tell you they are no Christians. Thank you Angie for refunding my money.

They only work 8:30-4:30 Monday-Friday, so I could not accommodate the schedule.

It went smoothly without any problems and with the quality of work they did, I don't think that I will need to worry about getting another new roof for a very long time in the future.

Everything went fine. Just tell them what is going on and why you called them out. They will take care of the rest. I called them with a specific purpose in mind.

They did a super job. They were here on time. He completely cleaned the gutters and everything was perfect when he left. If there was any problem at all, he was prepared to take pictures and send it to our insurance company. They were very efficient, very wonderful, and very professional.

When the roofers came to do the maintenance work, they found that the flashing around the chimney had not been installed properly and determined that the flashing would need to be removed and then replaced with new flashing, a job that entailed more time and work than the coupon allowed for. None the less, they determined that the necessary work would be completed at no additional cost. I am so grateful for their professionalism and their committment to repair someone else's shoddy workmanship. Overall, the experience far exceeded my expectations.

It went well. On time and did what they said they were going to do. I had a scheduling conflict and had to change the date of the original inspection/repair and it was easy to reschedule and everyone was pleasant that I talked with.

Due to inclement weather, it took approx two weeks to finish. They blew in r-60 insulation, removed al hat vents and installed new ridge vent.

I chose Ohio Exteriors based on their excellent Angie's List reviews way back in Sept./Oct of last year. It has been a long process of dealing with our insurance company since the bad wind storm last summer. Our roof on our 3 season room was completely blown off, and destroyed siding, the roof, and gutters. When I first met with Ohio Exteriors, a previous employee initally gave me an estimate, and fully intended that the insurance company would have no problem replacing all of our existing siding with new. Our house is from the 1960's, and still had aluminum siding that was very dated. We went back and forth for a few months with the insurance company about whether or not there was a match for the old siding. During this process, the sales rep that I was working with was let go from the company. I received no phone call about this until my claims adjustor was supposed to meet with this sales rep at my house, and he didn't show. I immediately called Ohio Exteriors demanding an explanation, and they proceeded to tell me that the employee did not meet their companies expectations, and was let go. This, however, worked in my favor because a better sales rep replaced him, and I finally got all of my questions answered, and siding ordered in a timely manner. I want to personally thank the office manager, Liz, for doing such a great job in keeping me informed through this whole process, and answering all of my millions of questions. She was always patient and kind. After the long process with the insurance company, the siding was finally installed on March 12, and I am thrilled with the results!!! The finished product is way better than I could of imagined. The crew was fast, efficient, does great work, and cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely be using this company in the future, and would highly recommend them.

I researched Angie's List and decided on Ohio Exteriors. I called, explained what I needed and they quoted me a price of $225. I was asked if I was a member of Angie's List. Since I am, they gave me a dscount of $50 and set up a repair time. I was not able to be here and was assured that was no problem The repair was made on Tuesday, 3/12/13. When I arrived home that evening, I looked at the garage and it looked good. Tuesday evening was also the night to take the trash can to the curb. As I did so, I noticed on one side of the drive that their truck had gotten over into the grass and caused a rut almost 6 feet long. I believe it was a mistake of the driver pulling in too close, became aware of it and then got back on the drive. I called the company on Wed. morning and was told the owner would come and check it out the following Tues. About 4 days later, I received an invoice with "PAID" stamped across the front of the invoice and a thank you card enclosed waiving the charge of $175. The card stated they strive for "top" customer satisfaction and had waived the fees to show their appreciation for my business. WOW what a company!!! Be assured they will get my business in the future and I will tell everyone I can about this company. I can't even begin to imagine what the results would have been had I not used Angie's List and just chosen a company randomly.
