Ohio Exteriors did a fine job. A couple of times there was miscommunication but they did a good job. They did what they said. Initially, we had some difficulty getting them to call back but I assume they had gotten so many jobs at that point and it was hard to keep up. I would use them again.

They did a good job. On time. Worked very hard.

Informed the contractor about the roof leak and the general location of the leak. They came out and inspected the roof but was told they could not find anything wrong. Fast forward few months later -- still experiencing leak and so we had another contractor check. I spent over $2,000 for repair.

My biggest gripe was the fact that their Angie's Big Deal which provided for $500 worth of blown in insulation for a discount implied that the $500 worth of insulation would accommodate adequate insulation for an average house. Ours is an average size 2-story house which would take less insulation than a comparable ranch house with equal sq footage but the quote was over 3X the amount of the coupon.

I first contacted Ohio Exteriors via e-mail on March 27. They set up an appointment to come to my house to look at the damage that needed repaired and provide an estimate on April 10. The guys who came out saw the problems, took notes and measurements, etc. as expected. They told me they would have to write the estimate up and send it to me in e-mail and left. I was expecting it within a couple days but it never came. I have called Ohio Exteriors several times to find out when the estimate will be ready, and each time they say that they need to look into it and call me back but they never do. It is now June 3 and still no estimate. I've given up on these guys.

It was extremely fine print that said you could not just order $500 worth of stuff, it had to be a full job. They made an initial date but had to change it because of weather, and I was ok with that. I had to call back to confirm that, they did not call me. They guys that came did a super job. They did everything and were really good. When they came out I told them I wanted it built up so there would not be loose insulation blowing around and he said fine I would add it to the contract. When I called to confirm, I asked to make to sure it was added to the contract and said it was not and then it took them longer because they had to go get more supplies to do it. They billed me for the entire price, they did not apply the discount. I wrote them a check for the correct amount and left them a note. The office was a little loose. The salesman did a great job on explaining things and gave me a lot more information then I would expect. But overall it was a good job, they just need to tighten up their front office. The salesman actually came early. The front is friendly and talk a good show but do not execute.

It was good. He showed up on time, worked quickly, did what they've said they're going to do. They gave me a list with what work needed done in the future, with picture and . So, it was helpful.

I would like to say "Thank You" to Ohio Exteriors & their entire staff for their professionalism-promptness-& their quality of work. Their salesman, Bill Thompson was very friendly & helpful when we were putting our package together. He took his time & explained all the options that were available to us & gave us helpful ideas that we could incorporate in our new room. Their product is top quality& very competitively priced. The workers were very professional & neat. They cleaned up the work site every evening & let us know when they would be there the next day & if we had any questions. When they had finished Bill stopped to do a walk through with us to make sure we were satisfied. We couldn't be happier with our new room & the service Ohio Exterior provided. We will definitely call them for our next home improvement project.

This was the first time we used this company and will call them again. They ran a price special of $175 and we felt we received a lot of service for the price. This company checked our gutters (and even cleaned them for us) looked at our roof and replaced a loose piece of siding.

I bought a big deal for $125 for an attic inspection and thermal scan. The two men sent to carry it out showed up on time and seemed to conduct themselves professionally; however they offered no information while they were at my home. Subsequently I was told that either the thermal camera had malfunctioned or it was too warm for the scan to work (different explanations were given by different people), and I was also told that I would be first on the list for a rescan in fall, 2012. However, apparently this promise fell into a crack, as fall 2012 came and went with no further contact, and no one seemed to know anything about it. As it happened a different company offered a similar service (for a big deal price of $75), and rather than argue over things I just bought the service from the other company. Since I never saw any results, despite a promised written evaluation, I really can?t offer any information on the quality, etc. of the work, but I was disappointed by the lack of promised follow up. UPDATE on June 1, 2013 Shortly after my review appeared, I was contacted by telephone a gentleman who identified himself as the office manager for Ohio Exteriors. He apologized for the confusion and acknowledged that it appeared I had indeed been told I would get a rescan (to clarify, this was told to me shortly after the original attempted scan in spring, 2012 - presumably before, as the caller put it, they "locked the scanner in a closet"). He also indicated that he was sending a refund for the $125. A refund check arrived by mail on Friday, May 31, indicating it was sent the same day he called. Because of this, I have changed the price grade to N/A and upgraded the responsiveness to C and the overall experience to D.

Ohio Exteriors LLC provided good service.

Did not use them found a cheaper estimate. . Although they were very helpful professional and showed up for the appointment on time. There was no pressure tactics used just plane old honesty.

The first service person to come showed up, took one look at my roof and told me that he couldn't go up there by himself. (It's a Cape Cod roof, but no one had asked me for any description of my house when I made the appointment.) He also didn't seem to know anything about the Angie's List coupon deal; he didn't know he was supposed to clean the gutters AND do up to 1.5 hours of roof repair. He seems quite uninformed about why he'd been sent out to my house and incompetent about the work itself. He told me that the office would call to reschedule but when I didn't hear from them for a week or so, I called myself. I found out that he'd reported that he'd done the work when he hadn't!!! I explained the situation and thankfully the office wasn't surprised to hear it. The man had already been terminated and the office staff apologized and promptly rescheduled the work. The service itself was fine. Vendor did as promised in the Angie's List Big Deal. However, the roof needed more repair than could be accomplished in the time span of the coupon, which I knew. Vendor discussed the needed repairs with me, explaining everything in detail and took pictures. I asked them to contact me soon with an estimate for the additional work, which they promised to do. I never heard back from them. So I contacted another vendor to do the work. Overall, I was not impressed. They did what they were paid to do but didn't seem interested in having me as a customer for more work. The

It was a good experience. I would use them again.

Workers were friendly. Completed their work in about an hour. I found a small gap still remained between house and gutter the following day.

They showed up and did the work quickly. It looks good. I'm not sure if the price was high or lower than other companies. We needed the work done quickly due to us selling the house and Ohio Exteriors had received good reviews from some of our friends. They were able to complete the work before our closing date so we hired them. Also, I wasn't going to climb close to 30 feet on my ladder to try and fix the rot.

They came (reciept was left) earlier then the agreed upon date so I never talked to anyone from the company. They did not call beforehand. Still have to call to make sure ALL the gutters were done.

We did not end up doing the work and not sure we would have used this company if we did do the work.

I don't recall any issues in getting scheduled. There was an issue in getting our report emailed to us but I think that was an error in spelling our email address correctly. The inspector was very professional. I did call the company for another property but did not use them.

Overall it was a good experience and I will call them again for service.

They guy from Ohio Exteriors LLC was polite and professional, but the big deal that I purchased said 2 hours of labor and I got maybe and hour and forty minutes and he spent the last 20 minutes writing up and estimate which he could have spent finishing up the work.

Our experience with Ohio Exteriors went very well. They sent someone out, inspected my roof and left. There weren't any repairs necessary. They did what they said they were going to do. It was just fine. The young man they sent out was an office worker. They ran short of field personnel, so they had him come and do the inspection. But he seemed knowledgeable and know what he was talking about and doing.

They did a fine job. I liked the fact that they didn't automatically find something wrong with my roof. They told me that I would be fine for a while and that I could call them back at a later date when it might need more attention. They were very good. The pricing was good.
