I am a realtor and had James Green come out and look at a roof for my out of town buyers, to see if it needed to be replaced. James called me and said he was running ahead of schedule and asked if I could meet him 1/2 hour earlier. I arrived a few minutes early and he was already there. He got on the roof and inspected it and said it had about 6 to 10 years left on it. I appreciated his honestly and was going to pay him and he refused to let me. He said it only took a few minutes and didn't want me to pay him. He was professional, on time and gave an honest assessment of the roof. I would definitely recommend him again!

I contacted three contractors for an estimate; all but Ohio Exterior said they would not be able to match the original siding. OE took a sample and visited several suppliers before they found one that could provide a perfect match, (the original vinyl supplier was no longer in business). One contractor recommended replacing the entire vinyl siding on the back of my house to ensure a match. OE also replaced trim on the garage that was rotting at the bases. OE was prompt with all scheduled appointments, professional, and did a great job! I would definitely use them again.

We have been having issues with our roof leaking since we had our sun room built years ago. This is the 4th roofer to take a look and the first roofer to not just slap sealer on it and hope for the best. I think we may be fixed at last.

Project did not initially go well. Shingles were delivered to worksite, stored uncovered (for a week) and installed all in extremely poor weather conditions (below 20 degrees, with snow on the existing roof). Due to the poor weather, the worksite was a disaster, we found over 60 nails scattered around the house (and are still picking up pieces of roofing underlayment). The shingles didn't initially seal, weren't laying flat, plus the workers installed white flashing on our stone chimney without our consent. We were concerned that the shingles were installed in conditions that were not recommended by the manufacturers (per the Atlas website). Based on this, I would have given them a grade of D right after the project was completed. After voicing our concerns, the owner visited our home and agreed with most of our complaints. He suggested holding off on paying the remaining balance due ($2,011) until the issues could be addressed in the spring/summer of 2015 (we needed several weeks of hot weather to determine whether or not the shingles would seal properly). Workers replaced the flashing, so it blends in with the chimney, and inspected the roof on several occasions until they (and my husband and I) were satisfied that the shingle adhesive sealed properly. I appreciate the fact the owner worked with us and tried to correct the company's mistakes, however I would not use this company again. Ultimately, time will tell whether or not the roofing materials were compromised due to poor installation procedures.

If you need a new roof or any related service call Ohio Exteriors and ask for Joe Kovach to be your sales rep. I got four quotes from top Angie's list roofers and was most impressed by Joe and Ohio Exteriors. He had the best price, a complete lifetime roof system equal to any other I was presented with and was very knowledgeable, patient, and stuck to his word on every little thing we talked about even though it meant extra work. Joe did a quote and presented an Atlas shingle that has a lifetime algae warranty which was huge for us because we have a lot of messy trees and had algae on the old roof. No one else offered this shingle. I was contacted by Chris to set up a time for the job and he was very friendly and professional. The crew was led by Jose and they arrived on time, worked hard all day, were quiet and professional, and did an excellent job on craftsmanship and cleanup. I couldn't find any debris when they were done. Joe was there about 5 times throughout the day to make sure the crew did all the things we had talked about which was very reassuring since I had wanted some extra things done. Joe then came back to do some baffles in the attic the next week to ensure good ventilation. We had a big storm after and not a drop of water in the attic or anywhere else. I like to be involved and learn with jobs like this and I ask a lot of questions and Joe never acted put out and was very gracious and humble and knew every answer. They say the company and the people you work with are just as important as the product and you can't go wrong with Joe Kovach. Ohio Exteriors also has great warranties and Joe is going to come back in a month to make sure the shingles have sealed AND he is going to come back in a year for a free check. I feel like I don't have to worry about the roof for a long time.

Very responsive, very honest, easy to work with. Great work, very happy with tech that came out. Slightly over the top with using the christian religion in advertising materials, although I would not hesitate to recommend.

Was an excellent experience. We had leakage after another contractor had replaced the roof. Ohio Exteriors found the problem and was able to identify where the previous company had done an incomplete job. Greatly appreciate the knowledge, integrity, and professionalism of Ohio Exteriors. Superior work! The repair was very labor intensive. The pricing was very fair for the quality of work that was completed. Also totally cleaned up all debris and left our property in perfect order. Love this company!!

Ohio Exteriors did an excellent job. There were special concerns regarding neighbor's gardens. Ohio Exterior employees honored the requests of the neighbors and there was no damage to any of the properties involved. Wonderful work by a great company!

With the bad weather we experienced this winter our appointment kept getting delayed. we finally scheduled for april 17 and the LeRoy called to check if he could come early. He did is work up on the roof... heard lots of nail pounding and walking all over the roof. When he was done he came into the house to discuss what he did and showed us with pictures he took. he also explained what work needed to be done. He also said our roof was in pretty good shape for a 17year old roof that never got maintenanced, He went home and estimated the cost of all the stuff he pointed out and we were surprised at how low it was. We're having him come out to fix the issues May 4th. I gave a B rating to punctuality just because of the bad winter weather delayed our original November appointment.

I had siding that needed to be tacked down. This was completed to my satisfaction.

It went really well. My sunroom has been leaking for several years and when I called the company that built it, they couldn't seem to fix it. Ohio Exteriors fixed it! They did what the others didn't. They re-sealed all the seams, screws and double checked the flashing and now the room is completely dry even in stormy weather. I will definitely call them when I need siding and exterior work.

Perfectly! They arrived on time and did a perfect job.

Their service man when up on our roof and checked for damage or other problems with our roof, skylight and flashings. They spent considerable time on the roof checking things. There were no problems but he did find an issue with a gutter which was repaired by our house painter later that summer. We were concerned that strong storms and the harsh winter weather might have caused some damage and we were very happy to learn everything was ok. We intend to have them do a roof check every two or three years as part of our home maintenance plan.

I contacted Ohio Exteriors in the fall of 2014 and after some confusion, Bill came to my home to look at my project. He led me to believe that he was interested and told me he would be in touch with an estimate. For nearly two months I exchanged numerous voice mails and emails with his secretary Janice and I was told that Bill was out of town, busy, or given some other excuse... but, that he would be getting back to me. He never did. I told them numerous times to simply let me know if they were uninterested. They did not and continued to jerk me around. Finally I gave up. I realize that it's difficult to get contractors to respond, but I expected some courtesy and professionalism from an Angie's List Contractor.

It was very poor. I don’t even think he got on the roof. I indicated that there were repairs needed and he gave me a separate price. I don’t feel like that I got anything out of the deal.

The workmen arrived as promised and completed the job as contracted.They were very professional and efficient. It took approximately 3 hours to complete the job. They did not disturb any part of my house besides the attic. Since the insulation, I have noticed a great improvement in the temperature of my house including the need to keep my thermostat lowered several degrees. I am very pleased overall with this contractor's work and certainly would not hesitate to use him again.

We had an overall good experience with them. The owner was a very nice person. The workers came in and got their work done quickly. They did a really good job of cleaning up.

I chose Ohio Exteriors to do the work on our roof after a storm in November 2015 as I had read several very impressive reviews on Angie's List on previous work they had done with other customers. I cannot say enough about Janice and Jim Meeker and their profound patience, professionalism and honesty during this entire process. As we had to go through our insurance company for the claim, and multiple visits and phone calls between Janice, Jim and our insurance company, it became very stressful at times, but Janice and Jim were always very accommodating, patient and truly went above and beyond what we could have ever expected. I also wanted to thank all of the roofers involved in putting the new roof, skylights and the contracted gutter installer for the fantastic work they did in making sure everything was done prior to any bad weather (work was accomplished in December). They were able to accomplish the work all in one day (roof and skylights) and the gutter installer was out to the home within 3-4 days after the roof was replaced. I would not hesitate to let anyone know who needed this type of work done to their home to contact Ohio Exteriors LLC, as they treated our home as if it was theirs. Fantastic job everyone, and thanks again for your honesty, hard work and professional customer service throughout the entire process!!!

Siding finished on time. 4 Season Room took longer than anticipated because of sub-contractor who walked off of another job which delayed work on our job. The crew at Ohio Exteriors ended up working in 17 degree weather to complete the job and went to extra effort to make sure we were satisfied. Kudos to James, Derrick and Bill for their hard work.

They did a wonderful job. The quality of the siding they used was high grade. They were efficient, fast and friendly. They cleaned up very well after and there were no nails around my house. His estimate was dead on, so we knew what we were paying upfront which is really important. It didn't really change. He is going to come back and do our roof. I had no complaints whatsoever. The price was pretty good.

First, I don't recall the date we had them increase our attic insulation from R-19 to R-49. Both Bill and Janice were and still are awesome not to mention the guys that did the job. After they left, I took a peek into the attic and I was blown away, no pun intended (insulation is blown in from outside), it was beautiful! BTW, our upstair bathroom exhaust fan was exhausting into our attic, risking potential mold. The fixed that for free then after acquiring another estimate for other work we need performed (which we'll setup in the Spring), they repaired another of our concerns a section of wind blown loose siding for free. These people are a dream come true and anytime we need work done on our home, they'll be the FIRST we call. USE THEM, you won't be sorry! ;-)

There were no additional charges. They did a good job, I would use them again, and I have used them again.

They were one-half hour late to the job site, but I did get a call informing me they were going to be late. The job went well and took about a half day.

We engaged Ohio Exteriors to initially perform an estimate of the work needed done. The estimate was easy to schedule and was promptly performed. The rep was professional and timely. The estimate was reasonable and we were happy to accept the proposal. We were told up front that due to the age of our siding that an exact match may not be possible, but they would get as close as possible. It took a while to get an appointment setup. One of my areas of feedback would be that I had to call the office on a couple of occasions to initiate the next step in the process after initial date and time frames had elapsed. The office was very accepting of my proactive calling and responded professionally. Our scheduled date for repair was around 10 days after our 50% down payment was processed. Since this was to repair damage, I was concerned with winter weather and a rainy forecast about the damaged area of the house. Our initial estimate of date was 12/17/2014. I called to confirm on the 16th (notice I did not receive a call), and was told that it depended on when the supply of siding was available, the weather, and staffing. I was told it was likely we'd be moved to the 18th or 19th. I was told I would receive a call on the 17th with an update. I did not receive a call and I had to call on the 18th. I was tentatively scheduled for the 19th and that is when the work was performed. The work was performed on 12/19/2014. The repair techs were timely, efficient, and professional. The work does not exactly match, but is close. This is in alignment with what we were told during the estimate, and it was not worse than my expectations. Overall - Good experience, just would encourage more timely updates during the scheduling and status execution of work.

It went fine. There were some scheduling issues. They didn't have all the parts up front so it took a little while before they were prepared enough to start the job.
