Service was great and workers were very professional. They worked from break of daylight until dusk and thoroughly cleaned up all debris. The process went well. From scheduling to follow up, the process was very timely. Jim Green, the owner, was great to work with on this project and took all the time we needed to discuss our projects as well as Janice in the office who checked in with us regularly.

A bit of trouble with scheduling etc, and the subcontractor that Ohio Exteriors used was a bit unprofessional at times (doesn't seem like they will work together again). But the most important thing is that James and his staff made good on their promises. It took a while, but the final product is very good. We would recommend them.

Once again, it was a pleasure to work with James and his wonderful crew - including Derrick and Matt. They arrive promptly, do beautiful work, and have great attention to detail. When we found a glitch with an electrical outlet on a Friday evening, Derrick returned within a half hour to rectify the problem! James is personable, and responsive. When I decided to change a light fixture the crew had installed (after they had completed the job), they were there the next day to take care of it, and I received a follow up phone call by James that evening to make sure I was pleased with everything. It's hard to ask for more from a company!

This is a wonderfully professional group. They swiftly worked around the weather conditions in February and rapidly replaced our siding and gutters. The change is transformational. Bill Thompson met with us to describe all of the options and was very knowledgeable. The owner James Green is very on top of the work and came out several times to make sure the installation went correctly. Lastly, Janice was a pleasure to interact with and very professional. I have recommended them to several people, but the work speaks for itself.

We decided to use Ohio Ext. in Jan after original roof started leaking again. We received a total of 5 quotes from other companies on Angie's List but decided on this company; owner, James Green, gave a detailed estimate during an outstanding presentation with models and displays. When the contract was signed I knew exactly what was going to happen. James arrived with the installation team and introduced his foreman to my wife and I Installation began around 8 AM and continued past dusk. Clean up was an ongoing effort all day as well as after the installation was completed. James returned the following morning to conduct a quality inspection as well as the crew to finish their clean up during daylight hours. Clean up was very good. Overall performance and quality was exceptional. Our experience with this company was very satisfying. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a new roof.!

Excellent. James is great to work with and listened to what we wanted and our budget. He came in under the budget and with qualify products. He was even able to get us better than we originally were looking for in windows. Cleaned up after the work was done and were careful to no damage anything. He works around your schedule and always keeps us informed as to the progress and where things are in shipping. Great company and advise everyone to talk with them on a project.

I called Ohio Exteriors, and the office manager indicated LeRoy was scheduled to be the technician coming investigate my roof per the inspection package I purchased. During late October 2015, we had suffered some water damage following a storm, with water streaks on a few interior walls, so we wanted to have someone check our roof quickly. There was a delay of a little over a week due to scheduling difficulties on their part. The appointment was delayed an additional day after the appointment was made, due to weather conditions and safety while being upon a roof, which is completely understandable. The following day, he was able to return and perform the inspection. Upon returning to the ground, LeRoy indicated that there was severe storm and hail damage to my roof, severe and extensive enough to the point he was unable to determine an estimate, I might need a new roof, and that I needed to immediately contact my insurance company. He did detail additional information beyond this, about possible leakage points from some flashing and also indicated flue cap had come off and further rain could cause additional damage and I should get that cap replaced as well. I believed his report and made arrangements to have a heating and cooling company re-cap the flue the following day with a rush order that cost me a few hundred dollars, as well as initiated a claim to my insurance company based upon his report. The report was processed, and the insurance adjustor arranged to come out the next Monday, requesting that a representative from the company that might perform the repairs be present as well. When I called to arrange this meet up with Ohio Exteriors, I was told by the office manager Janice that the owner of Ohio Exteriors, James, typically handles meetings that may result in new roofs, so he would be the one present during that meeting. I took off work to be present for the meeting, at which point both my insurance adjustor and James climbed my roof, assessed the damage, and returned to the ground. They both indicated that there was absolutely no storm nor hail damage to my roof. They stated the leaking was due to some flashing that needed repair but no storm damage. I questioned how could I have such star differences between inspections merely one week apart, from the same company? The adjustor shrugged his shoulders, and the owner James indicated that maybe the technician had mistaken wear from the walking pattern of the original installers of the shingles when the roof was installed (which was when the home was built in 2004) and that he would have to talk to him. I was aghast that a professional inspection I had paid for and utilized to make further decisions was refuted so completely. James indicated Ohio Exteriors would refund my money for the inspection purchased from Angie's List and get back to me with an estimate for the repairs. My insurance adjustor indicated that there was no damage that originated from a storm,so making a claim would not pay out anything, regardless of damage that was present related to the flashing. To their credit, my money was returned via check from the office manager Janice within about a week, with a note indicating James and LeRoy would work together and have a repair estimate to me soon. I received no response for more than a month, at which point I called and left a message on 12/21/15, requesting an update. I did receive an updated estimate at that point. However, the estimate was created by LeRoy, and given the results of his inspection, I was extremely uncomfortable relying upon his estimate. I relayed my concerns back to Ohio Exteriors and requested to have either James or someone else provide the estimate. I received a voicemail back from James that encouraged me to call him back but essentially indicated that they were going to use LeRoy's estimate. I declined to pursue further contact with the company following that voicemail, as my trepidation about the validity of LeRoy's estimate, given his previous inspection was faulty, was essentially ignored. I gave low ratings for Overall, Quality, and Professionalism as the most essential components of an inspection is the quality and validity of the content, particularly in an area of your home you are unable to observe yourself. I do not trust the professional assessment of LeRoy regarding roof damage, and was unwilling to let any of his judgement be part of an estimate for my home. I will choose not to work with Ohio Exteriors in the future due to this negative experience, and caution those who do choose to do so to be wary.

LeRoy provided a quick and fair cost estimate. He returned my phone calls in a timely manner and arrived to do the job on time. The entire fix took just under 90 minutes and the leak was fixed to our satisfaction. All materials were cleaned up and removed and the roof looks as good as new. I would not hesitate to use LeRoy and Ohio Exteriors again.

The gentleman who performed the service was polite, professional and worked at a pretty good pace. I did not actually go up on the roof myself to inspect but from the ground and an occasional check during and after the work was complete we were quite satisfied that the job had been completed as described. After some record rainfalls here in Central Ohio, we have seen no issues of any problems ( leaks!). We are quite satisfied with the service and anticipate calling them again soon for roof work on a different property.

we called them stating that we had a very small roof leak in our free standing garage that needed attention due to painting of drywall ongoing at this time that we did not want ruined by the new leak. stated clearly that it was likely a small job as roof in general in good shape. they said they could not even look at it until at least jan.18th, almost three weeks away. for an active leak, that is clearly an unacceptable amount of time to wait to even diagnose the problem. I would not use them in the future simply because of that - if a roof leaks, they should have enough staff to send someone to take a brief look and advise, even if the actual work must wait, at least to tell us if it is okay to wait on the work, or if anything should be covered while we wait, etc. they also had no recommendation of any other roofing company that they recommended in times of extreme busy-ness when they are unable to do estimates in timely manner .

Very well, very happy with service from beginning to end

It went really well. I was very satisfied!

The process was quick. Only complaint I have are the miscommunication issues. I called in, left my name and contact info., and asked for a time/date. Ohio Exteriors explained that Leroy would get in touch with me for a time/date which I thought was a little odd that Leroy was in charge of making his own appointment times/dates and their was no office management for scheduling appointments. Leroy got in touch with me through my shared email account with my husband. It lists both our names, however Leroy Blankenship left the email only to my husband (this was after he met me in person for the estimate). I know that people are busy but it just came across as completely unprofessional. We needed the job to be done before winter, so we gave them our business. We were happy with the fast process and happy with pricing but would probably not use them again.

Ohio Exteriors scheduled LeRoy to come out sooner, but the wet early summer put him behind. We were fine with that. When he did come to do the work, he was very professional. We had a pile of bundles of shingles from when the roof was replaced in 2003 that he was able to use for most of the repairs. He did a very thorough job removing the shingles around the sky lights and vents so that the areas could be properly repaired. We did not want a guy on the roof with a tube of random caulk sealing stuff. LeRoy understood where we had leaks and what to do. He was honest about the sky lights being good, since we were fearful that they were leaking and might need to be replaced. Just the flashing and shingles were the problem. So, the work took 3 full days. At the end of each day, LeRoy send us pictures of his work - before and after. All of the "boots" around the vent pipes had to be replaced. The little peak behind the chimney was fully re-shingled and flashed and sealed. LeRoy even took the cap off of the chimney and sealed it up and secured it too. The only negative comment we have is that he ran out of our shingles and had to purchase some shingles for the work in the back of the house by the chimney. The shingles do not match well. (B rating for Quality) We are mostly interested in a good weatherproof job so no big deal since in the back. As far as cleanup, every day LeRoy broomed up the debris and took it away. We were pleased with his work. Just for information, the work was performed in August but I did not post a review until we had some rain to make sure we had no leaks. So far so good, but I will be back if we do. If you need maintenance work on your roof, call Ohio Exteriors and ask for LeRoy Blankenship. He is a good man.

They were great from when I call and talked with Janice sorry don't have her last name she was great. Leroy Blankenship was my Repair Tech. He was great took pictures so I could see what he did. Was right to his work and did a fine job!! I would use them for next roof job and work with my Roof. Oh I call two other Company from Angie list and Never got a Call back. Ohio Exteriors not only pick up at 4:55PM she made all the arrangement to get things started. No I had never heard of Ohio Exteriors before this but if anyone needs roofing done I will tell them all to Call Ohio Exteriors !! Rating of the Price was a B. The only way I would give anyone a A rating is if it was Free !!!!!!!

A representative from the company came out and did a thorough investigation of a stain that was appearing on a wall. It was suggested there was possible penetration around event. They came out did some repairs, And also cleaned up the area along with the gutter. It went very well. I have not noticed any further water penetration. Given the complex matter of this project, I am very please with the outcome. The only thing was, it was a bit pricey, but I'm still a happy customer.

This was a peak remodeling experience. The crew was prompt, courteous, and did a tremendous job. They cleaned up after themselves daily, and left the property spotless. I would now consider them my go-to for exterior work. No need to look elsewhere.

They were responsive during the initial process on deciding on the actual products to use. When we made some last minute changes they were very accommodating. The crew was conscientious and skilled. We were and are very happy with the results. Would definitely use them again.

My salesperson, Joe, provided an estimate for the work above on 4/22/15. The quote was for $1,235. On 5/13/15, I mailed the signed contract with a check for $618 to Ohio Exteriors. The check cleared my bank on 05/15/15. Over the next few weeks, I received at least one call from Joe. He said he was having trouble locating skylights that would fit my existing openings and assured me he would keep looking and contact me soon. In late June, Janice, from Ohio Exteriors left a message on my voice mail. I called back later that day and was told that Joe no longer worked for Ohio Exteriors. She said that someone else from the company would need to reevaluate the work I needed done. On 7/3/15, I met LeRoy at my home. He examined my roof and promised an estimate within a week. He also said that his quote would not include the wood repair. "Bill" would need to do that estimate. LeRoy called Janice from my home and we agreed that Bill would stop by on 7/8/15 to evaluate the wood repairs. I could not meet Bill that day. However, I told Janice it was fine for Bill to take a look without me since LeRoy had taken some photos. I heard nothing from Ohio Exteriors until 7/15/15 when I contacted them. Janice replied with a new quote of $2,166.40. excluding the wood repair. LeRoy had found skylights that would work on my home. I told Janice that I was shocked at the price increase and asked about possibly replacing the roof and leaving the existing skylights. That would save $700 per Janice. She replied that LeRoy had found additional work that Joe had missed. I emailed Janice a few additional questions on that day. She said she would get back to me with the answers as well as Bill's quote. At that point, I decided I better cut my losses. On 7/15/15, I requested a refund of my $618. Ohio Exteriors issued the refund on 7/27/15 which I received it on 7/30/15. To date, I have not received answers to the questions I asked on 7/15/15 nor have I received an estimate from Bill. This is a highly rated company on Angie's List so I'm surprised that my experience was so horrendous. I am a single woman and I suspect that has something to do with it. On a positive note, they did refund my deposit.... after holding it for 60+ days.

House and deck looked outstanding, quality of deck exceeded my expectations, as well as the care they took with the garden I have surrounding it.

Ohio Exteriors (Leroy) came out and performed a comprehensive estimate, with photos of damaged areas on 7/31/15. I was not present during the estimate. Leroy emailed me the estimate with photos on Monday, 8/3/15. I agreed to the estimate and work was scheduled for Friday 8/7/15. I was not present when the work was performed, however all looked great and Leroy emailed my final invoice along with photos of areas that were fixed. Great experience, very easy to work with and high quality work. It doesn't get much better than this. Thanks so much!

The inspector came out right on time, and was very friendly and professional. He promised that I'd get photos and a full report of the repair work that needs to be done for my roof, along with estimates for doing the repairs and for a complete replacement. All seemed like it was going well, but the company never delivered on anything. No report on the inspection. No estimates. I tried to follow up a couple of times, and was assured that I'd hear from someone, but I never did. If I can't get what I paid for, I'd at least like to get my money back.

The work that was performed was of great quality and the price was very competitive. The guys knocked out the job in one day and were incredibly professional. i even called them to get the information for a different job regarding the specs of the siding they used and they went above and beyond to chase it down for me at no charge. Definitely a top notch company. Thanks.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a company performing work on my home. Setting up an appointment was easy and the office staff are wonderful -- absolutely wonderful. An estimator came out to assess the work. He was dressed professionally and arrived in a company branded vehicle. Most of all, he was very knowledgeable about HardiePlank siding products. Not everyone is that knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail to me. There was no rush. The HardiePlank had to be ordered, but the service coordinator kept be advised by phone on the status. Once the materials arrived, they got me in their schedule. There was constant communication from the service coordinator, and they got me scheduled a little early. The two employees were on time, friendly, and very professional. They worked meticulously. I mean, they wanted it perfect. I've only seen such precision before from trim carpenters. They were incredible. I occasionally came out to ask questions, and they gave me their undivided attention to answer my questions completely. Once completed, it was better than the original. They cleaned up completely, politely thanked me for my business, and off they went. This was really an outstanding experience. Highly, highly recommended.
