The work was carried out professionally and on time.

We had bids from three companies, but this is the only company that had the owner, not a salesperson, come to talk with us and do an estimate. James predicted his company would fall in the middle in terms of costs, and he was right. But we went with him, rather than the lower bid, because we were impressed with his work as a small company, we liked his hands-on approach, and we were also impressed that he gives back to the community. After some weather delays, he and the crew arrived exactly on time one morning last week. The job took two and a half days. The crew was courteous and careful with our property. When they were finished, they spent an hour doing clean-up that included extensive work with a leaf-blower, so the grounds looked better than when they started. Roofing is not the only work this company does, so I'll be happy t hire James again if we need other kinds of contract work.

Ohio Exteriors did a great job. The house looks brand new. We are very happy with the result. Bill, Sara and James have worked with us very patiently. They were incredibly responsive and helpful. They provided samples and indicated housing developments where we could go look at the product so that we were sure of our decision. The workers were polite, friendly and extremely efficient.

I'm going to start with the best part: The raccoons actually returned and attempted to re-enter the sealed chimney through the roof. They were unable to get in, but did pull back enough of the older shingles (present before the job) to create a leak. I thought the leak was coming from the new construction and emailed Ohio Exteriors the same night. They came out first thing the next day to inspect the damage and repaired it for me using some shingles I had leftover. This was an excellent experience and more than made up for some of the communication problems I had earlier on. Do to a schedule opening they were able to start much earlier than expected. Since it was last minute, I had to rush a bit to prepare but it was worth it because construction was done quite quickly. They found some additional damage inside the wall that they didn't expect, and because of this I was asked to sign a contract extension to cover the extra work. The framing damage was quite a bit worse than I had anticipated myself. So this made sense. They also replaced the gutters and downspouts on that side of the house. I had worked with their sales manager to determine a placement for one of the two downspouts but that information did not get communicated back to the installer. I had to ask them to come out again and move the downspout. I was also disappointed that they installed the gutters before the painting was done, but it is impossible to tell now that everything is installed. The painting took a while to get started but they did a good job when they finished. There was some confusion on my part about how the paint sample would be chosen. I should have spent more time understanding the contract. But they were courteous with me even when I was frustrated and we got it sorted in the end. I've given them top marks in everything because the end result is excellent, they completed the job on time, and they were very helpful even after the work was completed.

Least expensive of preferred Hardie installers. Workers were very friendly and professional. Went above and beyond to paint trim where old siding covered. Project was completed in a very timely manner. Most work was completed during business hours while I was not home, however, I received text messages with pictures updating me throughout the day which I appreciated. Overall, very professional and easy to work with. Would certainly use them again!

It was great, we really enjoyed working with Ohio Exteriors. We worked with Bill to design the 3 seasons room and he did a great job figuring out how to accommodate everything we wanted in the room including how to get a large hot tub into the room. There was a delay in the permit but after that, everything went very smoothly. The people who came to work on the house were extremely professional. We would definitely hire them again for another project.

There was a little effort in getting the work scheduled. However,once it was scheduled, the work was done efficiently and to my satisfaction.

It went real well. They did the insulation one day and came back and did the roof the next day. I like that they finished in one day and they did a nice job on the clean up. I worked directly with the owner and he did a nice job keeping me informed and following up.

Siding replaced on 60% of house. They spent considerable time finding matching wood siding as original manufacturer did not make this type anymore (26 yrs old). They did a better job than the original builder.

From the moment James of Ohio Exteriors arrived at my house for the estimate until the job was completed I nothing but a positive experience. The workman showed up on time and did a beautiful job. The cleaned up and seemed to have great pride in their workmanship I would highly recommend them for any exterior work.

Our home is a Cape Cod, and the rotten wood around the dormer windows and front door needed replaced. This is the second time the wood has rotted/needed replaced, so we wanted to use a composite material to (hopefully) prevent the issue from re-occurring. It was a challenging request, as composite material comes in a limited amount of profiles and we wanted the original design of our 80-year-old home maintained. We contacted Ohio Exteriors because we worked with them about seven years ago on another challenging project and it was a positive experience. It was a great decision to call them, because they did a phenomenal job. They put together multiple composite pieces to re-create the original look, and we are thrilled with the final product. The house now has the integrity of the original design with the added convenience of composite. We have only positive comments regarding the company. The experience start to finish was excellent. First of all, it was refreshing to have the simple pleasure of calling a contractor and hear a person greet me. My typical experience with calling contractors is getting voice mail, leaving a message, and then hoping for a return call. The owner, James, consistently returned calls and emails timely. He made us feel he appreciated our business and wanted to make us happy. He gave us an estimated start date, but then exceeded expectations by starting the project earlier than promised. The men completing the work were punctual, professional, and very competent. Finally, the work was done in the timeframe promised and was within budget. It was a pleasure working with this company and we wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

Excellent. I really appreciated the owner, James Green, being available by phone when I called. Upon our first visit, he gave me all of his credentials and certifications. He also gave me a certificate which approved Ohio Exteriors as a Preferred Contractor of Owens Corning which is important to the warranty. The other company that came out gave me no paper work, just a business card! We've already had a compliment from a neighbor that they liked our new roof! The gutters and downspouts not only look great, but sturdier that the old ones.

We called Ohio Exterior, among others, for a quote for several jobs we needed done. James Green was timely when responding and very easy to work with. He was reasonable with his quote and finished everything we asked him to do in an expected time frame and within his quoted price. His team was very skilled, professional and hard working. We could not have asked for a better team to work with. We would use Ohio Exteriors LLC again in a heartbeat.

Very personable and prompt. Truly enjoyed working with this company. Did not take as long as expected. Employees were friendly and made sure to clean everything up once the job was complete. The roof looks great!

Took awhile to get on the schedule, and get a permit. Once I did the work went quickly. I get many compliments on the work from my neighbors.

They were on time, high quality, efficient and fast. I called them Monday, Tuesday for the estimate and did everything quickly. They replaced the roof in one day and part of another day.

Exceptionally thorough, & great teamwork, no short-cutting despite complicated heights & needing to be exact with work overhead. Professional, quiet crew who took the lead and worked well with juggling other work crews/companies working simultaneously on our home. Neighbors even complimented the crew. Left our outside cleaner than they found it DAILY. Owner, James, honest/candid re: timing & challenges, punctual, responsive, GREAT sense of humor & helpful at determining best solutions.

We have not yet decided whether to get the work done but feel his estimates are fair.

It turned out good but I had few little things that happened as far as doing some of the billing and stuff. We got it straightened out. I wasn't impressed with them after I got them. He didn't call me or didn't ask me. He didn't do anything. I'm stuck with the credit card bill. I wasn't too impressed with them. I was mad. The patio was good.

This was purchased as part of an Angies List deal, where $300 was deducted from work over a certain amount. They came out and did the estimate after I purchased, which probably wasn't a good idea on my part; the quote seemed high, but I had already spent money on the coupon. Ohio Exteriors was able to do all the work without my being home, which was very useful. They just showed up and did the work. Except that they had to come out three times to get the work done. The first time they replaced some of the rotten wood that was in the scope of the work. I waited a week to see if they would return on their own, and when they didn't I called them about it. They came back and did some more of the work, but left a 2X4 with obvious rot, right next to the porch door (see photo) untouched. After a couple of weeks of them not returning and the office asking me to pay their invoice, I sent an e-mail with the picture of the rot and asked 1) how it was missed on the original inspection and 2) would they fix it. They denied it was deep rot, so I went out to buy materials to fix it myself, however they did come and replace the 2X4 after all, although they didn't paint it. They are very good at their work - I am impressed with the quality - but I suspect the workers didn't have much supervision, which is why things were left undone.

Installation went much faster than anticipated and it looks great! We had a pleasant experience with a professional and very competent crew.
