Great -- Ken came up with a creative but straightforward solution to run a new dryer vent line from an unconventionally designed, older home. Drilled through several inches of concrete but sealed everything up very nicely. Very professional, everything looks good, sturdy, and airtight.

He was good. It was unbelievable too, he did the service when it was bad weather, but he was up on the roof and was punctual for the job.

The service person arrived at the time agreed upon and proceeded to explain what he would be doing per my request. He performed the work and explained why he shortened the hose. He recommended an timeframe for future service on the dryer hose and vent, which I agreed with. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

I purchased the Angies Big Deal of $65 for $130 for a dryer vent cleaning. The owner Ken contacted me through Angies list, promptly for an appointment. he showed up right at 9am. He was pleasant and went to work immediately, told me I had some buildup in the roof vent and cleaned it out. He showed me some hand held piece of equipment that registered 28. He wrote up an invoice for $129 plus a diagnostic fee of $49 and tax, then subtracted the $130 and asked me for $57 above the $65 I paid for through Angies website. I was surprised as no where on the special did it give a quote of the prices nor a statement that it "cost more" to get up on the roof. He told me it cost more depending on venting through the side of the house, the first story roof or 2 story roof. He repeatedly referred to the "fine print on the website and he couldn't do this for free". I had a print out of the payment but he asked me to look it up on angies list. I said I would go do this and as I walked down the hall, he asked if he could follow me, I did not answer him and he followed me anyway. I looked up the big deal and no where did it give pricing nor was there any fine print. He was quiet and quickly "wrote it off". While he is obviously good at his job, prompt, he is expensive and not upfront on his pricing on the big deal. I have my vent on the roof cleaned every other year and have never been charged more than $130, I know things have gone up lately, but being upfront with your pricing for basic maintenance should be easy unlike remodeling. This is the only time I have experienced this situation with Angies list specials. The roofer I used recently was very upfront that there may be additional costs once they looked at the repair job, on the phone before we began, NOT after the services were performed. Just be aware with this coupon that it doesn't cover the whole cost.

That turned out well. I had no problems. They did what was required and all went well. One technician came out and was about an hour to complete the service.

We scheduled our appointment through Angies list web site. He responded the same day with an appt time. Very convenient. Ken arrived promptly. After assessing the situation he had 3 options to recommend He replaced our old plastic tubing that was full of lint with heavy aluminum tubing and redirected the air flow. The old vent had numerous turns. He vented it through a cabinet in the utility room and to the roof through the attic on a hot summer day. It required and additional foot of piping but he did not charge for that. He stood by his initial estimate. When he was finished, he cleaned so you could not tell he had been there. He was friendly knowledgeable and very professional. We would give him an A+++ if that was an option.

This was my first experience with Angie's List. It went great! Ken was very courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. My background knowledge in dryer venting was zero, and he was very patient as he answered all of my questions. He noticed that the roofers didn't line up the hole they cut in the shingles with the one that was cut in the roof for the dryer vent. So the shingles covered part of the opening for the dryer vent. He corrected that. Using pictures he took with his iPhone while on the roof, he showed me that when the roof was put on, the roofer didn't put a cover on the roof vent (different from the dryer vent) and advised me to have it done. The dryer vent was cleaned entirely, top to bottom, and as this had probably never been done before, there was a large amount of lint collected. I hadn't known that accumulation of lint in a dryer vent is a fire hazard. When Ken was finished, he cleaned up before leaving. It felt so good to know that my dryer was now safe and working properly. Before cleaning, the air flow in the vent was 1.7. After cleaning, it was 23.1 He certainly set the bar high for the next thing on my Angie's List!

The vent was a certain type of tubing and I had them put in an outdoor vent installed to prevent critters from getting in. They worked well with my tenant, so scheduling was easy. Overall It went well.

He was very knowledgeable about dryers and dryer vents. He did a great job and I would highly recommend him.

He arrived to clean out my dryer duct and told me the pipe in the wall was broken, he didn't clean the duct. He then gave me an estimate of $754.35 to fix it, said I could deduct the Angie's List purchase. I thought that was high and so I hired another company who came out today and did the repair for $250.00.

Wow. He arrived on time. He was extremely polite, personable, and professional. He knew his stuff. No, I mean, he really knew his stuff. The total cost was more than I expected, by about 40.00 but after I saw the cover on the roof vent, I was surprised he did not charge me double! It is a thousand wonders that the house had not burned down before this. The roof vent cover had one hole about the size of a quarter that was allowing air to escape and it was obvious that the vent had not been cleaned since the house was built in 1964. I have never seen anything like it. The vent was packed. The back of dryer was packed because the lint was going nowhere. It took him approximately 2 hours to evaluate, estimate, and complete the job. He cleaned up after himself, and left no indication he had even been here. Even the cats were okay with his presence, well, until he turned on his vacuum. Thank you Mr. Mladonicky, you did a great job. Oh, the next load of laundry dried in half a cycle! Woo hoo A couple of tips for the rest of you: Do not use plastic or foil vent hoses - it says so on the back of your dryer because those are flammable. However, humans, being fools, are looking for the easy way and continue to use them. Instead, use rigid galvanized piping for your vent hose. Have your dryer venting cleaned every five years depending on the size of your household and the number of animals you have. The dryer vent hoses you buy to attach to your vacuums are worthless; do not waste your money. I bought one several years ago. Thankfully, I only paid 5.00 for it. How do you know if you need to clean your dryer vent? Does it take longer than one cycle to dry the loads? Do you smell singed hair or something burning? (Turn off the dryer immediately and call a cleaner) Does your dryer get HOT when running? Any of these mean that it is time to have your vent and dryer looked at. Otherwise, leave it alone and count the days until your house burns down.

Ken was very responsive with email contact prior to the day of service. On the day of service he was prompt (actually arriving 15 minutes early!) and got right to work. He cleaned out my dryer vent which improved the airflow by 50%! He recommended replacing the vent tubing behind the dryer with a safer up-to-code model. He also suggested and to my agreement replaced the outside vent to discourage small animals and birds possibly nesting and traveling in the vent. Any debris that fell on the ground outside the house was completely cleaned up. I am sure this will help improve the efficiency of my dryer and help lower my electric bill. I highly recommend Ken for his professional and exceptional work performed. I will call him again when needed. Thank you.

My previous dryer vent put in by the builder had so many 90 degrees turns that it had clogged up. Dryer Vent Wizard came out and restructured the piping and took out 9 feet of unnecessary piping. He also put in an animal proof door on the exterior vent.

Didn't show up at the appointed time. Had a hard time getting in touch with him personally. Had to make 3 calls. Finally called me an hour and a half after the appointed time he was to be here. The problem with the dryer not getting the clothes dry, was it had a pinched tube and all the lint was collecting in a small space. We thought it was very costly considering the small amount of work that was necessary to fix the problem.

sProvider arrived 1/2-hour early, meaning I had not gotten the laundry area de-cluttered, vacuumed. He graciously worked around this situation. He asked specifically what I wanted to accomplish, told me how he could accomplish this, and went over with me the details of his written, itemized quote. He completed the job in less than 3 hours, including cleaning up the area around the dryer. He photographed the roof vent & showed the photo to me, explaining how he had installed it and how the vent works. He was not only very professional, but also very personable. I felt comfortable with him in my house and would definitely use this company in future.

He checked the flo for the air vent which was kind of low. He stated for the type of vent we had that it would be better to replace it because the accordian style vent that we were using tends to collect a lot of lint. He ended up selling us the outside dryer vent at retail price, which was very nice. He also replaced the vent cover and only charged us retail for that as well. I was very pleased with their services and would highly recommend them. The technician/owner was Ken Mladonicky, was very informative and professional. He was very thorough and maticulus and also cleaned up the mess from the previous installation where the vent had not been attached properly.

The serviceman was professional and courteous. He told us what he was going to do, how long it would take, and told us the loud noise it would make while the vent was being scrubbed with the brushes. I am very satisfied with the way we were treated and the cost of the service. We will have problem with him returning again when his services are required.

Mr. Ken Mladonicky was a pleasure to work with and I would use his services again. Ken maintained excellent communication from the beginning of the job until the job was complete. He arrived on the scheduled date and time. Ken provided a detailed review of my dryer and vents. He provided a comprehensive list of the costs of the services offered. Once the job began, Ken worked diligently to ensure the dryer and vents were cleaned and up to code. Ken cleaned up the work area after the job was complete, leaving the area much cleaner than before he started. Most of the additional cost this service was because I chose to have Ken: (1) clean the dryer itself; (2) replace the foil paper transition from the dryer to the duct work; and, (3) to replace the exterior dryer vent cover. If your home merely needs the dryer duct cleaned, I would expect his services to cost less.

It was great. They did a great job with it. I liked that they were on time. They told me even before they started what they would be doing and what I needed to have done. They were very professional and very clean. They cleaned up after themselves. They were great.

The service was fine. I was very pleased because I hadn't had the dryer vents cleaned up since I moved here, and the dryer wasn't giving me any problems or anything, and I just thought that I need to do it periodically, and that is why I bought the big deal. He got back with me immediately online, and he sent me an email, and I called back to set the date and time. He came right out on time. There were no problems, and he was very good. I was very happy with what he did. He changed and put a better vent, and he gave me a card when he was through. He gave me a receipt for the charges. He gave me an estimate before he did the work. I paid an additional amount, because of the vent cover. We had a metal cover on the vent part that comes out, and the people who lived it here before, had put a piece of screen on it, to keep the animals out, and he told us that that was not good. He then went in and found the birds nest, so somehow birds got in there. He put a new cover on, and it looks very nice. It has an outside flap, and an inside flap, and he said that even if an animal is strong enough to open the outside flap, they won't be able to get through the inside flap. The price was good. I was very pleased with everything. I was very happy to pay 65 Dollars and get a 130 Dollar deal. He was very professional, very friendly, he showed everything that he was doing, he explained everything that he was doing and why he was doing. It was a good deal.
