Very well. An issue with the door was spotted immdiately and rectified to our satisfaction. Excellent people to deal with, both office staff and installers. This is our second purchase from Renewal by Anderson, and the first order was much larger: All new windows/sliding glass doors for our home. This order also went very well, and we will purchase from them again. Highly recommended for all door/window needs.

Our house is 35 years old, with original windows. The windows on the west side take the full force of the weather, and thus were in need of replacements. We wanted maintenance free windows with a new grille design. We decided to visit the Renewal by Andersen store on Sawmill Road and found the visit very pleasant. The store had ample examples, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. No hard sell. After review of the literature, and more thought, we decide to have a window and door specialist out. He took measurements and explained every aspect of the replacement from ordering through installation. Afterwards we felt Andersen windows were the right fit for us and we placed the order. The windows arrived sooner than anticipated and were quickly scheduled for installation. The installation crew was very professional, knowledgeable about their craft, and considerate of our property and the final appearance. They were on time for the installation and easily finished within the time given by the window and door specialist. After installation they performed a walk-through review to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and we understood the operation and care of the windows. This was followed by a visit by the sales manager to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Our windows did require staining on the inside and this was performed by an Andersen recommended company by the name of Home Sweet Home Painting. Just like the installation crew, the staining crew performed outstanding work. They arrived on time, were very courteous and considerate of our property. The bottom line is that we had a very good experience, and think the windows are great, including being very nice looking. You may pay a little more for Andersen than other windows on the market, but for a quality window and being hassle free from beginning to end it is well worth it. I give Renewal by Andersen and Home Sweet Home Painting an A+, and recommend to anyone looking for a hassle free window replacement with a quality product.

The overall experience was great. The sales representative was professional, the quality of the product seems outstanding, the installers did a outstanding job, cleaned-up the site when installation was completed, hauled away the old doors and packing boxes, and then man from Renewal came by to inspect the product and installation service. Both Renewal and Pella offer high quality products. Once an order is placed, the factory builds the product to your order requirements. They then are packaged and shipped to a location near your home and the installers pick them up. This process can take 6-8 weeks and longer during the busy season, which I would assume is in the spring or fall.

They were polite and nice on quoting us a price. He informed us they were going to be expensive and I agreed with him that they were.

We didn’t use them but ended up going up with someone else. The estimate was pretty high. They seemed professional. It looked like a good product and everything. I didn’t compare it to the other company’s warranty. The fact was that the other company was home town company which I liked better. Their responsiveness was good and they got right back to us. They were on time. He was a good guy to talk to and he was fine.

The salesman was professional and courteous. The only thing I didn't like was the veiled bad-mouthing of other companies in town.

We have paid a deposit. So far it has been a positive experience. They were very clear on what our costs were going to be and what our choices were for the windows. They were very solicitous.

Our contract was signed March 8 and the door was installed May 12, 2011. It took longer than I had expected. I needed to call several times in the process to see when completion would be done. Initially when we talked with the Salesman we let him know we were conerned about security and they did offer a very secure door but the price was prohibitive. There was to be a door handle lock as well as a bolt lock using the same key. When the door was installed I asked the installer if they would be using 3 to 3-1/2" screws as this is what the police department recommends. I was told they would be. After the door was installed I was given two keys. I mentioned that I thought we were to have one key for both locks but the installer indicated there were two keys. The salesman stopped by later that day and I mentioned this to him, and he said yes there was to be only one key but some how two different locks were provided. (I didn't understand this). I thought he indicated they would correct that. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing more from them so I called. They said they were getting a new lock and would let us know when it would be installed. Meanwhile I had taken the screw out of the lock and found it was a 3/4" screw. Very upset. When the new lock was delivered they were to also replace the screws. When the person came to fix this he asked to see the two keys we were given. THEY WERE THE SAME KEYS. I had never thought to check this out. You would think the company would have known this when the door was initially installed. Lesson learned, always check everything out while serviceman is there.

They have done work for us twice. The work has turned out great. The second time we had them it was a big job. We had an excellent experience. We had a great installer, much better than our first experience with them, and the windows are great quality. The first installer didn’t do near as good as a job and they actually are repairing his work from before with no additional charge.

They were very nice and polite. They weren’t cheap but you get what you pay for. Overall it was a good experience. They didn’t leave any mess, trample any bushes; they were pretty good. We didn't have any problems at all.

They did a great job! I live in a really old house and have a layer of brick and cement block. They cleaned up everything, including the floor! They didn't leave any marks from the repair!

The initial salesman was very good; in fact the previous owners replaced a couple windows in the house with them and had received the top of the line windows with a discount, so we were able to carry that discount on, which was very nice. The installers were excellent; they were very neat, courteous, and cleaned up well. The quality of the windows is great. The only problem I had was that when the installers where installing the windows, the salesman became a pest. He started bringing other sales people over to our house to see the windows, without even asking us or letting us know, he just showed up. He even stopped the installers while they were doing work. I did not appreciate this. Besides this, we are very pleased with everything else.

The work turned out very good. We have replaced a couple windows per year for the past 3 or 4 years with this company. There was confusion with the original estimate and it ended up being more work than they expected, but they honored the original price. We have been pretty satisfied with the work so far. We will continue to use this company for window work and we recommend them.

The work was fine, the people were nice, but the windows suck. The quality of the windows is not good and I have tried to contact this company concerning this issue but they have continued to give me the run around. The windows are poor quality and they are falling apart. The rubber seal is already off and we have only had them for two years. I was disappointed because the windows were supposed to be custom made to fit the window area, but they weren’t and stuff had to be filled in. They had come out and measured everything but then the windows they brought weren’t as big as they had measured so areas around the window had to be filled in, which I wasn’t aware of ahead of time. Before hand when they did the work they were easy to get a hold of on time, but since I have tried to contact them about the issues and it has been a nightmare.

It was fine. It took them a couple times to get it right, but they eventually got it right. They had to come back and take it out and redo it a couple times.

They did a really nice, neat job. They even re-hung our drapes. They did excellent work and we are really happy with the work. It was very a courteous and professional gentleman that came and replaced the door.

The windows are good quality. They are supposed to tilt in so you can clean them, but one of them doesn’t tilt in like it is supposed to. I called them about 6 months ago to have this issue solved and I have not heard back since. I am happy with the quality of the windows, just not the quality of the service.

The work turned out excellent and I am quite pleased. They did the work efficiently with dispatch. They followed up and checked on the work. The product was pretty good quality, as advertised. With my former, older windows, there was a draft and with the new Andersen windows it has made a major difference. They cut both the heat and the draft from coming into the house as much; the heat loss is also less. I remain quite pleased.

The work was great and they were really great. They did the work when they said they would. The price was a little high but it was worth it. We are satisfied with the work and have no complaints. They were really great about working with us and with our little boy being around. They also explained to how file tax rebate as well, which was really nice. They were great and made sure I knew how to use the windows before they left. The sales rep followed up a couple months later and made sure we liked the work and everything had went well. The windows have made a tremendous difference with our heating and cooling, so it was worth it.

They got it right eventually but it took them a long time to do so. The first two sets of windows they built for us were wrong. It turns out the salesman had written the report wrong up wrong, making it take longer than we expected. The quality of the work and the windows are fine, it just took them awhile to get it right, which was frustrating. Other than that I thought the windows were really expensive, but they are good quality windows and they installed them well.

The windows are good and continue to be good. Some of the work that they did installing the windows and the work on the frame isn’t as good. The work is okay; the ledges on the outside from the older windows have some holes that weren’t filled with putty or anything when the new windows were installed. I like the quality of the windows themselves, but the company they subcontracted the work out to have the windows installed wasn’t as good. Dealing with the Andersen salesman was very good, and he did follow up with me. Obviously we brought them back so we like the quality of the Andersen windows.

It went fine. However, I was shocked when the quote was over $8,000.

I called to schedule an appointment to get a quote for replacement windows. I was informed that they will not come out to give a quote unless all parties listed on the deed to the home are present. After scheduling the appointment, I stopped by the showroom on Sawmill Road to look at the products on display. The salesman continuously referred to the "cheap" products offered by other companies as he described their product. I asked him if he was trying to tell me that his quote would definitely be higher than any other quotes I receive and he said definitely, "yes". I asked if he had a brochure that I could take with me and he handed me a flier. After I told him that I had a scheduled appointment he told me that he would give me the $15.00 book and then reminded me several times that he had given me a $15.00 book. I told him that I would return it when the estimator came to my house and he told me that I only needed to return it if I didn't buy the windows. On the morning of my scheduled appointment, my spouse was not available, and I had to cancel the appointment because they won't give a quote to one spouse.
