Ruth did a fabulous job of researching shade loving deer and rabbit resistant trees, shrubs, perennials and drew up a beautiful plan with overlays that showed how the landscape colors would look each season. Ruth, her husband, John, and crew planted the entire area. Ruth was meticulous in her placement of plants and has a love for perennials and all plants (something we have in common). I couldn't visualize how to landscape the area and that's why I hired Ruth. I couldn't be happier with how the whole area came together. It's absolutely beautiful and will be more beautiful as the plants continue to grow and fill in the area. John is also in charge of lawn care and we've hired him for that job. He's helped our yard become more lush by treating it with grub and weed preventer, and has us on a fertilization schedule. He also aerated our yard.

They called me back and came out in a timely manner. They came out on Saturday and had the estimate to me on Monday. They were very responsive and knowledgeable and the price was fair. I will be using them for the service.

They came by and took a good look around, listened to what I wanted, and then spent time with us going through their handy plant books to pick out what we liked. They helped us pick out plants that were in the price range we wanted and that needed the level of care we were willing to provide. They made helpful suggestions. John worked with the crew to make sure everything was done properly. They followed up after the work was done with a drive-by and a phone call to make sure we were satisfied and to remind us to water our new plants. I'd use them again in a heart beat and would recommend them without reservation. Very friendly and down-to-earth folks, too.

They replace mulch, top soil, and also do a lot of the edging on the flower beds. Everything goes very well. They're very responsive, and they actually do what I ask which is really nice. They also always get everything done in a very timely manner.

Ruth, the owner, is professional, returns call quickly and is very easy to work with. She is laid back, but focused on what her customer wants. I asked to make some changes to her original quote and she promptly set a time to come out and verify the changes with me. She provided me a revised quote on the spot. John, Ruth's husband, followed up with me after the job was done to make sure we were satisfied. This allowed me to address some concerns I had about the amount of trimming the bushes received. I wanted the bushes cut back further and John said they'd take care of it in about a week. He made good on his word and delivered what we discussed. He made me a happy camper! I thought the price for the labor was good, but the cost of materials, especially the mulch, seemed high. Ruth and John will take care of your needs, do a good job and make sure you're satisfied. Ruth and John are very nice people. They did a great job. Ruth came out first to give us a quote on the work we wanted done. She spent a lot of time helping us get to know what trees we had at our new home. We did get quotes from three different places and Luxury Landscapes was the only one to write down everything they were going to do for the price quoted! John and his crew were very nice to talk to and worked very hard to get the job done right! I work out of my house, so I could see how hard they worked. We are 100% pleased with the job they did. We have received many compliments from people in our neighborhood. We plan on having Ruth and John back this fall for a few more things.

Ruth and her husband John brought us the most beautiful Norway Spruces and multi-stem trunk Dogwoods. They looked fabulous! They also planted some Buckeye shrubs. I was extremely happy with the quality of plant material and the care in which they planted them. Ruth is also drawing up a landscape plan for the wooded section of our back yard. I chose her from Angie's List because of the excellent comments she had received, and because she had knowledge about perennials and other plant material. I am looking forward to working together in the future. While they were here they pointed out damage that was being done to my yard due to grubs. I hadn't realized that it wasn't just dry spots in the yard. They pulled up a section of grass and pointed out the grubs. I was grateful that they pointed it out and we had them treat our yard and were able to stop further damage.

Ruth was great to work with start to finish. She gave us a quick estimate, complete with Angie's List discount, and we found her pricing to be extremely competitive. We decided to give her the job, and almost immediately upon receiving our deposit, she was already over here starting to work in our yard. Because a large part of the job was clearing out a ton of English Ivy and other overgrown foliage, they spent a lot of time spraying down the area with Round-Up before doing any additional work. It ended up taking more treatments than originally thought, but they graciously didn't add on to the original estimate. They also happily did some additional emergency clearing to make room for a fence we were having installed, and I appreciated that they were willing to come by with little notice on a Saturday to get the yard ready. The actual clearing and seeding work only took a couple of days after several weeks of preparation, and now our yard is fantastic. We couldn't be more pleased!

Arrived on time, worked diligently, and did not leave until we were completely satisfied. All were kind and courteous, knowledgeable and left everything immaculate.

Ruth and her crew did everything we ask for and then some. Ended with a very nice design of a low maintenance type lawn. I originally chose Luxury Landscapes because I noticed from their write up that they will take on smaller jobs.
