Excellent from start to finish. The job was completed timely. The installer was great. The new door and frame was constructed as designed and the quality was excellent.

We contacted the company for an estimate and were pleased with the presentation. Larry was on time and very professional. The job was contracted, and delivery and installation of the windows was completed exactly as promised. The installer was on time and very professional and the windows look great. The only problem we had, was the factory didn't send the fold in cranks for the windows (casement type). Larry was contacted and the new cranks were replaced within a week. We were very happy with the company and would definitely use this company again.

Larry made a special effort to come & give me an estimate for the job. He knew I'd talked to others, but he wanted to show that he could give me a better deal. He was prompt, professional and very straightforward. My front door is over-sized (special order) and his estimate of how long it would take to get it was exactly right. He listened to what I wanted and found a way to make it happen. He taught me different things to consider when buying doors, like how the trim was going to get done.(some people aren't clear on this and it can make a huge difference.) When I told him everything I wanted, he was able to add a few extra touches and still come in way below my other estimates. The installer, Ken, came on the assigned day and was even earlier than they estimated. He was very polite and considerate of my house. (cleaned up after the job) It's obvious that he takes pride in his work. He was very efficient and paid close attention to even the smallest details.

This was a straight forward engagement. We did a basic review of our desires, picked out the doors and scheduled the install. No problems what-so-ever.

From the estimate work forward, this was an excellent experience. Larry was upfront and honest about what did and did not need doing, where other companies had tried to tell me I needed things I knew I did not. He was very focused on delivering a quality product with excellent service and his staff reflected that as well. The measuring went very quickly and the windows were exactly as ordered, and installed much more quickly than I expected, without being rushed. The installation crew were polite, professional and careful about our home and pets. I did not find anything that they missed on the cleanup as well. If I need this service again, these guys will be the first call I make.

Highly professional throughout the experience. Larry was very knowledgeable regarding his products. I was impressed just from the estimate. The work performed was detail oriented. Very neat.Very clean. The installation techs were very friendly and approachable. They cleaned up after themselves. I wouldn't have even known that they were there had I not seen 4 brand-new entry doors.

Initially we kept having to reschedule the estimate. Workers were polite and respectful of our space. They cleaned up their mess each day. The entire job took two days to do. It was hot outside, so they did all the house windows the first day so that we could turn our air conditioning on to be more comfortable, which was very considerate of them. One of the window screens was installed with a small tear in it, and I contacted the owner to report the problem. He said he would order a new screen and it would take a few weeks and he would let me know when it would be in. It's been two weeks and I have not heard back. I will give 2 more weeks before contacting the owner again. I am also waiting for my receipt for payment.

Larry came to the house shortly after we had contacted him about having a new patio door installed. He provided us with a competitive quote which wasn't the cheapest but he was knowledgeable, didn't try any hard sell tactics, and provided us with information about the product that we requested. We had 2 other companies also provide us with quotes and did not find them to be as helpful. We had a problem with our current door and Larry was the only person who spent some time trying to fix the problem (which would have resulted in us not purchasing a new door). We liked this work ethic and decided to go with his company. The day of installation, they showed up promptly and completed the job in the time frame that they had stated. The work was performed without creating any mess, and the staff were very friendly and polite. Follow up questions with the company were addressed very promptly.

The work was done on a timely basis in a satisfactory manner. Larry was pleasant, cooperative, and most important, followed up on promises made. Some minor door details that were to be completed by his supplier were addressed and finalized at his initiative. He also insured that our security system remained intact and operative. In short, we were pleased with the company's timeliness, professionalism, attention to detail, and overall performance. We would comfortably recommend them to others.

This is a great company! Larry was wonderful to work with, and the guys who installed the door were on time, professional, and cleaned up after themselves. The price was excellent for the door that we purchased. We would definitely hire them again in the future.

We called 3 window and door companies, and Columbus Window & Door was the only one who returned our call. Larry Surowiec came out to give us an estimate. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The door had to be ordered and took 2-3 weeks to come in. The actual work was scheduled on a Saturday and took about 3 hours to complete. The worker was friendly and did the whole job by himself. He knew what he was doing and was quite efficient. My only complaint was he used some kind of lacquer thinner to remove some silicone caulk and it left horrible fumes in the house. I am a chemically sensitive person, and did not appreciate this use of toxic products in my house at all. I would rather have had a slightly messy line of caulk than deal with this unnecessary toxic chemical. Other than that, I was pleased with their work.

We got 5 quotes. We hired Columbus Window & Door based on the product they offered, the price and the overall professionalism of the President, Larry Surowiec. He has a great sense of humor, and was very patient in explaining everything to us. (Who talks about jam clad molding on an every day basis?) Excellent communication throughout the process. The installers were also very professional. New doors went in and all old debris hauled away with no problems. We are satisfied customers.

Larry Surowiec was wonderful to work with, the pricing was more than half of what I had been quoted by other vendors. Larry answered all of my questions, was on-site both days the windows were installed to ensure I had no additional questions. He treated me as if I were his most valued client. My windows were installed in less than three weeks. Ken, the installer, was punctual, pleasant, worked very quickly, and was very professional. I am very impressed with the company overall, and intend to call upon Larry again when I am ready to replace the exterior doors.
