I'd give the highest possible rating to Top Line Home Inspections. The inspector, Sherman Hall, contacted me the same day and scheduled the inspection 2 days later. He was at the house earlier than scheduled, and was highly knowledgeable, friendly, articulate, thorough and patient. I have had experience with 2 previous home inspectors, and Mr. Hall was far more competent and impressive than either of them. He was patient in answering questions and explaining what he was seeing, and provided solid information about which concerns were immediate and which could wait for a later time. He had the report to me and the Realtor by late afternoon, and his fee was very reasonable. He seems to genuinely enjoy his work and sharing his knowledge! My Realtor also was impressed and plans to recommend him to other home buyers.
