They were on time and professional. They did great work.

I called and scheduled a estimate for a garbage disposal install. I told the lady to have the plumber bring a disposal with him because if the price was competitive i would go ahead and have them do the install. The estimate was scheduled for Monday. I went to work and my son was here to let the plumber in and ok the install estimate. When the plumber Cedric came he looked at the disposal and disregarded the work order for an estimate on an install and asked my son if i wanted the disposal changed or just fixed. My son said i wanted the disposal working. Cedric then took a disposal tool and unjammed the disposal and hit the reset button and said we didn't need a new disposal. He gave my son a bill for 148.00 and deducted our $20.00 angie's list coupon.Cedric also listed on the bill that I didn't need a new disposal. And that there was no warranty. I wanted the disposal replaced because i was tired of unjamming it. I called the company and they agreed that we should have gotten an estimate on an install. They then said they would send Cedric back out to do the install and only charge me the differance. But they won't give me a price on how much more money this install is going to cost me. I was told the vice president of operations would call me to help resolve this issue but I have not heard anything from him.I have talked to 4 differant people at water works about this and their position seems to be that my son oked the work. I keep trying to explain to them that I asked them to come to my home to give me an estimate on a garbage disposal install(which I still don't have) And maybe install the disposal. Not have their plumber take it upon himself and decide to try to keep a disposal that belongs in the trash working.

I called just after 9am this morning and told them I could be home anytime after 1pm. They called ahead when the technician was on his way and he arrived at 3:40pm. He said the problem with the toilet was the fill valve and (forgive me) the black tower on the left (don't know name or exactly what it does, but it isn't what the flusher is attached to). And he also replaced the flusher with one made specifically for the tank instead of the generic one I installed from Lowes. I used the Angie's List $20 coupon and it came to $187. He was done and out the door by 4:18pm. I'm thinking I paid too much, but I have no idea what that should cost. At least he was very nice and professional and left no mess behind.

Pearl from The Waterworks was great and I highly recommend him. I called him for an estimate on removing a heavy and dangerous old cement laundry tub in the basement of the house that we just bought. He gave estimates to do the job, as well as some additional estimates to move the laundry hookups which were hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room to against and to install a new fiberglass tub which I had purchased. Pearl was very clear with the expenses for each item. We settled on the full 'remodel' and scheduled for the next day although he could have done the job that day if I had wanted. After about 5 hours of work, the job was finished and of excellent quality. I'm very happy with Pearl's work and the pricing with The Waterworks (especially using their online coupon - it's better than the Angie's List discount), not to mention their responsiveness and professionalism. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Job well done!

I have used Waterworks repeatedly. They are always quick to come out and professional.

I called Water Works on a Sunday because I knew they provided 24/7 service and my tenant didn't have hot water. I was told that the technician would diagnose the problem and call me with pricing for getting it fixed. He called me to tell me that the water heater needed to be replaced. He said that a replacement would cost $1,200.00. We never talked about what it would cost if I had the water heater replaced by another company. Lowe's ended up replacing the water heater for $700.00. A few weeks later, I noticed a bill from Water Works on my credit card for $237.00. When I called them about it, they said that the technician was responsible for billing and that he would call me about pricing. He never called me so I called them back a week later. (7/29/13) This time they told me that an after hours call out is $97.00. This does not include any diagnostic or repair work. (In other words this is what they charge you for the privilege of calling them.) Then the after hours water heater diagnostic charge is $140.00. WARNING! This company charges EXTREMELY high rates for after hours work! BE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BEING CHARGED BEFORE THE TECHNICIAN COMES OUT!!!!!

Called Waterworks to request an estimate to replace a water heater. They stated they had to come out to the home and give us an estimate. I was given a 12 - 4 pm window time. I called at 2 pm to obtain a status. The receptionist stated the dispatcher would call me when the plumber would be en route. She could not give me an update. I called at 4 PM as I still did not hear from them. The receptionist stated she had no status what time the plumber would be arriving. I cancelled the appointment.

We had a technician come to our house because we have a few plumbing issues, from just faucet leaks to possibly a new sump pump. The tech said he couldn't fix one faucet, and the other one didn't need to be fixed. He did give us a high estimate on having a new handle put on a toilet. He also told us how much a new pump would cost. His attitude was very much like he didn't want to be bothered to fix anything. We have been in our house over 39 years, and have had plumbers fix things many times. Other plumbers have always worked with the issues until the problems were fixed. That is what we expect from plumbers - that they should know how to repair plumbing issues or replace things. This was the most unpleasant experience with plumbers that we have had. I did receive a follow-up call from the company, a couple days after the service, and I told them how we feel. They offered to send someone else to our house, but we already have a appointment with a different company, so I declined the offer.

He was here on time. The guy was nice and gave us some very good money saving advice

I was trying to book a plumbing company to come out and run a camera down a toilet drain. We're remodeling and the bathroom will be gutted next Thursday, making it a logical time to bring in a camera. I had heard good things about Waterworks, and had used them in the past. But here's the weird part - they would not give me a price - not even a high end or a ballpark or any sort of "worse case scenario" when I called to schedule this. Remember - my window for doing this, before the remodel proceeds and a new toilet will be placed over the sewer hole - is next Thursday. The Waterworks receptionist (or answering service, or whatever) would absolutely not give me a price, or a guesstimate or any sort of indicator if it would be $600 or $6...but she would be happy to schedule the plumber to come out on Thursday. And...if the price quoted on Thursday didn't meet my budget, I could cancel the plumber with no obligation. When I explained the situation, she still wouldn't give me an estimate and she said she didn't have anyone else available for me to discuss this with, no plumber, no one else, and no, they don't do it that way and they've been in business for a long time. So...was I supposed to book Waterworks in the am next Thursday and book a second plumbing company in the afternoon, in case Waterworks showed up but quoted me a crazy high price...? But, if the price was okay, then I could cancel the other plumbing company in the afternoon. Why is nothing easy? So...I called Amanda Plumbing. The lady told me it would be $175 to bring out a camera and scope it out. I had some additional questions for her which she wouldn't answer so she would have a plumber call me tomorrow am to discuss what I could expect with this visit. Waterworks, really?

They did excellent work. They were efficient and professional. They were just what we needed and did everything as we needed done.

Replacement was done in less than one hour. Serviceman was well qualified and friendly. We would recommend them to others and use them again.

Went well, the service man was prompt and courteous. He offered suggestions for reducing the amount of lint that goes into the trap and was done in less than an hour. I would use them again.

Waterworks called ahead and arrived on time. They were able to walk through my current drainage issues and identify hidden drains. By diagnosing the proper layout, they saved me from having to inlay additional pipes and drains. The representative was willing to walk through all the followup options and answer all my questions.

They are very prompt and good follow up. Their pricing is a little high, but their service quality is good. I guess you get what you pay for.

I called WaterWorks on Friday morning and explained that I was going to need work done at my house to repair the waterline coming into the house. I explained that the city was out, there is an active leak and need an estimate as soon as possible. I made an appointment (12-4). Sidebar- I understand this is a large company, but a four hour window seemed a bit high. That aside, I agreed because of the reviews on Angie's list. My wife was home and I asked that she stay home and wait for the technician. She waited and I got home right around 4 o'clock. I was surprised to arrive home to no estimate. I waited until 4:15 and then called back. A friendly young lady answered the phone, gathered my information, and then placed me on hold. She returned to say the technician had an emergency at another home and we would need to reschedule. I understand emergencies but was still frustrated, a simple call to advise me of the situation would have went a long way. She said I could reschedule for MONDAY! I felt the company was unprofessional. My wife sat at home waiting, no courtesy call, and when I called back after the appointment time had passed I was told there was an emergency, and "Since your request is just an estimate we will have to reschedule". I know losing my business will not cause this company to go out of business, but the negative word of mouth will cost them a little more. I am sure this is a fine company with knowledgeable and friendly people, and this was probably just a mistake. The reason I am writing this is because I believe feedback is needed to ensure it doesn't happen again.

The service was professional and the work was done properly. However, the cost was too high given the basic nature of the work performed, which was snaking the kitchen sink, even considering it was a weekend. They also were misleading on the phone (said that the minimum charge for the visit is $90 but it was not clear that the fee would be added to the work quote).

With all the rain we have had apparently my sump gave up and died. I discovered this at about 5:00 p.m. because there was a large pool of water growing in my basement and every crack had moisture. I called Waterworks (in a panic). I am a widow and really know nothing about plumbing. They were able to schedule someone to come out that same evening. He got there, assessed the situation, and took care of the problem. Changed out the pump and even checked to see that the water was running to the road like it is supposed to do. I am most impressed with the speed, quality and efficiency this disaster was handled. I am in the process of selling my home and because of the quality of the pump, I will have another positive selling point.

We did not hire Waterworks because of the price quoted for the service requested. The length of gas line was approx. 5 feet, several valves and a dirt trap would be used, and the appropriate connecting valve would be placed for the stove. Approx. 1.5-2 hours was estimated to complete the work. The quoted price was $682.00. We simply could not afford the quoted price. We did schedule 2 other plumbers to give competing quotes, both came in less than half of what we were quoted by Waterworks.

had a very slow leak at main water valve shut off. Was very straight forward with me on fixes and price. was also able to replace a dripping outdoor faucet and rerouted the pipe to outdoor faucet to bypass water soft softener system. Was professional, very neat and am glad I had this all done at one time

Water had leaked from the windows into the basement and they fixed the floor joist and walls. When they came out the first time and looked at it, they gave us advice on what we could do. They suggested that we get the windows fixed first. The office was fantastic. He was very nice and as far as I am concerned, they did a great job. They were very knowledgeable and compassionate to my situation. I was in a tough situation and they really helped out a lot. I would use them again.

Company employee arrived on time, was friendly, explained the procedure. When unexpected problem popped up, called in appropriate help and equipment. After consultation, new approach was discussed and executed. Only complaint would be that the resurfaced floor was not smooth. But hey, they're plumbers, not concrete people.
