On the main floor of the house, a pipe that was feeding water to the kitchen was leaking into the wall. They dug that out and put in a good pipe. Their technicians are professional and polite. We’ve been really happy with them.
Description of Work: They replaced a rusted out cast iron drain pipe. We also used the company in the past for some cast iron pipe problems.

The estimator came at set time, gave a thorough review of work to be performed and gave us a fair price. The technicians showed up at appointed date/time, installed everything as promised, cleaned up afterwards. Everyone was extremely professional and polite. I enjoyed working with this group very much.

I have used the Waterworks for all our plumbing needs. Each time a different guy. What I'm impressed with is everyone that has done work in the house has been polite, respectful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Couldn't ask for better customer service. If their price is a little higher, I'll pay it to have conscientious workmanship!. Love these guys!

We called to schedule an appoint and were scheduled for today, Saturday, July 26 with a timeframe to arrive between 10-2. We waited all morning and afternoon and never received a call. I then called to ask the the operator said, "oh, yah your still on the schedule for today." When I asked why we were given a timeframe if that means nothing and she just, "i don't know and I have no idea when and if anyone will come out, they are still on a job." It's a Saturday! I don't want to wait all day and not even receive a courtesy call to say, we're running behind and will be there at 2PM. I WOULD NEVER USE THIS PROVIDER. I am shocked they are rated so high! Finally, I just said forget it, I will find someone else on Angie's list.

Upon researching your service order, I see that our dispatcher called for access at 8:41am on Saturday, 7/26. There was not an answer and the dispatcher left a message requesting that her call be returned as soon as possible. The Waterworks will not send a technician to a job site without receiving verbal confirmation that access is available. Since you were not available to speak with the dispatcher Saturday morning, the technician was sent to other customers whom were available for service. The project manager for the rebuild didn't know what he was doing. The project manager for the restoration, on the other hand, was wonderful. The plumber who fixed it and the restoration itself was fantastic. The restoration and the rebuild are one but they had two different project managers. I think their price was above average.

The project manager for the rebuild didn't know what he was doing. He had no skill with speaking with us. He just lied to us that no one would call him back when he would call. I've never received a phone call from him. We figured that the rebuild would be just kind of fast, at least working on it, but he never came. He just talked on the phone and never came through with anything. On the other hand, the project manager for the restoration was wonderful and the restoration was fantastic including the plumber who fixed it. The restoration and the rebuild are one but they had two different project managers. They put us on a major spot. I think their price was above average.

They didn't charge me. The fact that they came out, fixed it, diagnosed it and did this free of charge was unbelievable. I would definitely call them and the specific technician as well.

I was really impressed with Ryan's troubleshooting and analysis of the problem. He was also very friendly, courteous, professional, easy to work with and tried to do as little additional damage as possible to find the leak. I would highly recommend them.

At 3:30 I called to confirm that they would still be coming. I was told that my appointment was actually for Saturday, not Wednesday. We eventually figured out that a technician had tried to phone me before noon, and when he did not get an answer, he changed my appointment to Saturday WITHOUT TELLING ME OR LEAVING A MESSAGE. So, I sat in my house, waiting for someone to come, all afternoon. When we finally got this sorted out, the dispatcher tried to see what she could do and told me that she could have someone out between 4:00 and 8:00. I told them to forget it. I wasn't going to spend four more hours of my day waiting on them. Disappointed!
Description of Work: Scheduled to have an estimate for replacement of hot water heater. Appointment was for between 12-4, but they never came.

The plumber had a helper with him, they were very respectful, personable, and polite. The outside line needed a extra work that increased the cost. I was very satisfied with the service. The discount coupon from Angies List was very helpful, but the cost is always a little high when things require "extra" attention., I have used this company several times, and have always been satisfied with the work completed.

We made an appointment for a plumbing estimate with Waterworks. They gave a window of 10am - 2pm. I took time off work to be at the house to meet the contractor. They never showed. When I called their office, we were told they were called into something in Hilliard and would need to reschedule. Today was our rescheduled appointment. Again, no show. This time, my wife took time off work to be at the house. When contacted, waterworks asked what time would work for her! At this point, 8 hours of our paid time and work productivity has been lost due to waterworks. Hoping they show for the next "scheduled" appointment on Monday 7/7. Need to work out the bill for our 8 hours of labor lost.

It went well. The serviceman suggested changing the drainpipes under the sink as they were not installed correctly and would have to be changed if there was a clog. So I went ahead and had it done when he was there.

It's 11 a.m. and so far no one has showed up or called. Am sure it will take more than 45 minutes to install 2 toilets and a faucet. Thankfully, I took full day off work instead of just the morning. I called office about 10:30 to confirm I was scheduled for service between 8-Noon and customer service rep said I was on the schedule for that timeframe but techs were running behind. I asked if she could provide me with an ETA or the name of who I was expecting and she told me no. Would have be nice if someone had called to tell me they were not going to do work between 8-noon. Have no idea what their quality of service is or how fair their pricing is because they won't give you an estimate over the phone. Funny, because there dozens of websites out there that seem able to give a cost range for these types of services without seeing my bathroom or powder room. If they ever do show up and/or perform the work I will report on that separately, but so far The Waterworks is a big fat F in my book.

They showed up when promised. They removed the dowspout and snaked the drain removing a good amount of roots and dirt. They put everything back the way it was. Drain works great now. Just in time for all these downpours we have had lately.

I was given a 10am - 2pm service window on Monday, June 9 and was called at 2pm. technician arrived at 2:20pm to see if he could repair a shower that would not stop running. I was told that the valve / shower system was an unknown manufacturer and that parts would need to be ordered. Was told it could take up to two weeks to get parts in from manufacturer. Waited two weeks only to learn that the technician would like to talk with me before placing the order and that the technician was on a service call -- he would call back that afternoon to discuss the situation (Thursday, June 19). No call received. Called main office again on Monday, June 23 and Marty the parts manager apologized that the technician never called back as promised. I decided that I would simply buy all new shower parts vs. try to repair a high end European shower system and Marty offered to send details for two local plumbing supply stores that would have other high end shower components. Was charged $148 minus $35 Angie's List customer discount for nothing. Lack of responsiveness and follow-through is unacceptable and unprofessional for a company so highly regarded by Angie's List customers. My experience was a D- experience at best.

Mike and his partner were top notch professionals. These gentleman quickly ascertained what the issues were and went right to work. They even had the parts needed to fix some other unknown issues on the truck. I hope to never have any problems again with plumbing but if I do I would call these men first.
Description of Work: I called at 0300 hours because there was a drip coming from the ceiling in the basement. The drain in the bathroom was improperly installed the day before by a friend. There also was a constant drip every 2 seconds coming from the faucet. • REMOVE EVERYTHING you do not touch or use at least once a week...Whatever that may be. You want your house to feel larger than it is...Only way to get top dollar per sq. ft. Waterworks had to come back a 2nd time as both faucets still leaked. Was able to fix the main leak on the 2nd try, but never fixed the other slow leak(after 2nd try).

The Waterworks replaced all the water lines in our rental after the copper was stolen just days before it was to be sold. They were quick in giving an estimate and completed the work very quickly and neatly. The water heater also needed to be replaced (fittings were too damaged to make connections). They had the appropriate water heater with them (price was competitive with big box stores) so everything could be taken care of at once. It did take 2 days to complete the job since the hot water heater was not initially planned and they had to get inspections. I was very please with their service and would recommend them.

I believe the cost was too high and the guy had to come back the same day because one of the sinks was leaking underneath.

The initial scheduled time was between 1pm and 4pm the day before and Jim arrived after 3pm. Once the job was assessed on site (it looked like it would take awhile longer than expected) we decided to reschedule for the following morning to avoid over time. Jim arrived on time the next morning and got to work right away. He had to remove the bathroom vanity to get access to the pipes in the wall. He told me that although he could repair the leak just at the break which was above where the sink and toilet pipes join that it would be better to replace the pipe further down below the joint as that area would likely fail too (old lead pipe). After he replaced the lead pipe with pvc pipe, he then reinstalled the vanity with the new sink top. Jim did a great job and I appreciated his effort to reduce the chance of another vent pipe problem in the near future, especially since I had had the same vent pipe repaired just two years ago by another plumber. Once finished he offered to haul away my old sink top, which was greatly appreciated.
