I got a call just before my window of arrival making sure this was still a good time. Shortly after Keith arrived and as soon as he stepped in the house he put on shoe covers (a very courteous touch). He looked at the pipes and immediately diagnosed part of the problem as the previous homeowners installed something upside down. He also watched where there could be water and found the overflow seal on the bathtub had been messed up. He fixed both things very quickly and then moved to the sink where he provided and estimate (I don't think he even charged us for the bathtub, just the visit so far). He had all the parts necessary to fix the sink as this was yet another thing the previous homeowners did themselves. Keith was very polite, friendly, and got everything we needed done quickly. We also used the coupon from here which I mentioned before he performed any repair.
Description of Work: The bathtub was leaking into the bathroom below. Also, we asked if a sink would be fixed while they were here. The sink stopped could not be used because it couldn't even line up correctly. It also looked like some pipes were about to their lifespan

Jason from Waterworks was awesome (as t hey always are). He was prompt, friendly, joked with me, did the job quickly, was very clean, and left answering all of my questions. I have another estimate coming from them for more work later (they are that good).
Description of Work: We had a back up in our toilet as a pair of eye glasses was accidentally flushed. Jason came out and "snaked" the toilet and sure enough, found the glasses deep down in the pipes. All is good now!

They came out and cleared the main sewer line. As he was finishing, the tech commented that the water level in the floor drain was still pretty high but thought the problem was fixed. The very next day, water from the washer overflowed from the floor drain again. They came back out and said that a secondary line now needs to be cleared for an additional charge of $120. I wasn't happy about that, and told him no. I called another plumber who came out and did it for $99. Since I had used Waterworks several times in the past to clear roots from our sewer line, I'm disappointed that they didn't take care of us this time.

Here at The Waterworks we strive to provide our customers with the best service we can. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. On 10/14/2016 we received a call from the customer that they were experiencing a backup in the main sewer at 3pm. The customer scheduled service for 10/15/2016 between 12-4p. On 10/15/2016 we sent a tech out around 12:12p. While the tech was running the main sewer line he pulled back roots. Once the line was open and free of roots the technician had the customer sign off on the paperwork and let them know that we give a 1yr warranty on roots if they should come back and cause another backup. On 10/17/2016 at 12:23p we received another call from the customer advising that they were experiencing a backup. The customer scheduled service for 10/18/2016 between 12-4p. On 10/18/2016 we sent a technician out at 1:53p. While the technician was onsite he noticed that the main line we previously cabled was not causing the issue. Since this was not on the main line there was no warranty on the floor drain. We did waive the trip fee due to being out there recently within the last few days.

I called and they came out the same day. We had already worked on the drain and we were concerned that the problem was in our main line. The two men were fabulous!! They worked slowly, searching for the drain. They didn't even give me too hard a time for putting things down the drain I shouldn't have (rice, meat, potato peals). It took about 1 1/2 hrs but they found the clog and cleared the line. I would certainly have them again.

They are so easy to deal with and the prices always seem reasonable. I've never had trouble getting an appointment when I needed it, they call when they are on their way, and all of the technicians I have had have done a great job. They also have gone above and beyond in trying to fix other problems at the same time and just generally be helpful.
Description of Work: This time, I had a new sink vanity installed in a bathroom. In the past I have used them for installing a new sump pump, unclogging drains and fixing my garbage disposal. They have become my go-to for plumbing needs.

Overall, everything went okay. When I initially called and asked about their labor rate, the attendant indicated that she didn't have pricing information but the tech would be able to provide it. I researched labor rates and thought that approximately $100-$200 would be all that's needed since I'm already supplying the unit and check valve. Upon arrival, though Monica was very pleasant, Ryan was more abrasive though he later kind of warmed up when we talked while he worked. After telling Ryan what needed to be done he indicated that Waterworks doesn't have hourly rates and has flat rate pricing, and proceeded to quote me a price of $378 including labor and an additional check valve (a $12 part). He even said that I wasn't charged for replacing my backup pump float switch. I was in a pinch because I didn't have time to continue shopping around and wanted the work done today before I went out of town on business tomorrow, so I agreed. I then thought that they may need quite a bit of time to do the installation, but Ryan and Monica were done in less than one hour. I know because I was there the entire time out of curiosity for what they were doing. While the quick finish is appreciated, I don't think that it was worth a $343 (after Angie's list coupon) labor charge. Though the job is done as I wished, I came away feeling 'had'. I would consider hiring them again, but not without shopping around.
Description of Work: I had an existing Zoeller M53 sump pump replaced with another Zoeller M53 sump pump and check valve that I provided. I had the float switch to my backup sump pump (Watchdog) replaced with an OE switch that I provided.

After waiting several weeks I called them to remind them they were to return and and four trips, neither one of the toilets are fixed. Asked for a refund but was refused. I would not recommend them to anyone!!
Description of Work: After having them repair the pipe exiting the house for the sump pump, I asked them if they could take a look at two toilets that would continue to run upon flushing. I was told they needed a part and that the next visit would not require me to pay the service call charge.

[Member Name Removed] originally called us on 07/26/2016 to inspect line and repair sump pump discharge line... two toilets were leaking (repairs needed) and there is an irrigation system that is leaking. [Member Name Removed] requested service for 08/02/2016. We attempted to come back out on 08/04/2016 to make repairs on the toilet, but we never heard back from [Member Name Removed] after 2 attempts to reach him. On 08/16/2016 the call was scheduled to return on 08/23/2016. On 08/23/2016 we returned to finish the repairs on the toilets. [Member Name Removed] called in on 08/24/2016 stating that the toilet was still running. While onsite [Member Name Removed] requested an estimate to replace the toilet in the future. On 08/30/2016 [Member Name Removed] called in to state that the toilet was leaking plus there was a flapper issue. We sent a supervisor out the same day who performed a dye test and advised the customer to call us back in the event that he sees dye in the toilet. Technician also replaced the handle on the toilet that was sticking at no charge (This would have cost $175.00). The same day as the dye test the supervisor went back onsite as [Member Name Removed] called back in stating that there was dye in the toilet. The supervisor provided [Member Name Removed] with a quote to perform a major and a minor rebuild of the toilet and the customer refused service, so the technician did not perform the work and left the customers residence.

They were able to schedule me the SAME day (unlike the others I called working several days out). Ryan came and diagnosed the broken assembly and said it would need to be replaced. I then figured out I needed to call my home warranty service (not very pleasant) and because it was a Friday afternoon, I had to fuss to get weekend service. The approved amount was so low that I had to shop around for another independent plumber to get it done. I absolutely would have had Ryan come back had it not been for the home warranty and their requirements.

Swimmingly. $114 dollar weekend rate charge plus $147 trip charge. Once you get past that, it was $245 to replace valve which took all of 5 minutes. Rate based on union price list and not a hourly rate. Wouldnt use them ever again, you are better off letting your house float away than support their manipulative business practices.

The Waterworks appreciates you taking the time to provide us with a review and I do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We make sure to document everything in our system in the event that we ever have to revisit the service orders for any reason. After further review of the service order I found that Mr. [Member Name Removed] called in for service on 09/10/2016 at 10:48p as he attempted to fix his shower valve it broke off and he needed service to help fix it. Mr. [Member Name Removed] requested service for 09/11/2016 which was Sunday. Due to the location of Mr. [Member Name Removed] residence (Lancaster) there is an additional charge for us to come out onsite which was $147.00 an hour port to port. Also our overtime rate of $110.00. This was quoted to Mr. [Member Name Removed] before the service call was entered. A credit card was obtained to hold Mr. [Member Name Removed] place on the schedule for overtime. The technician was onsite from 09:45a to 11:15a. While onsite the technician advised the customer that to repair a water line it is $175.00. The customer accepted the estimate and signed off for the technician to perform the work. Once the work was completed the invoice was signed and the customer's credit card was charged $432.00 which included the $147.00 (port to port), $110 (overtime) and the $175.00 (water line repair).

Plumber was scheduled to come the day after I called. Another large plumbing outfit said they could come out in about a week. Plumber was supposed to be here between 10am and 2pm...I received a call at 1:59pm saying he could come then. Got here around 2:30pm or so. Said it would take 1 to 1-1/2 hours and would cost me $245 ($185 plus the $60 service call). I signed for the work because he was able to get here the next day after I called their office, he was here, it seemed pretty expensive, but I needed it done. Took him less than a half hour and still cost me $245. It seemed like a lot to me...that's about a $370 an hour plumber if you pay him the $60 just to come out. However, the new faucet is in, it seems to work fine and he left the area as clean as he found it. I had already pulled everything out from under the sink and everything was cleared to have the work done. I am wondering if I paid a premium based on zip code...

Lonnie came out on a Thursday and stated that he would be out of the office until Monday, but would get back to me when he returned. Two weeks went by and no word on the estimate. I had to call the office number and was told that Lonnie would email the estimate soon. Estimate arrived in my email that same day, but was pathetic. Exact wording was, "Estimet (spelled wrong) for installation of faucet ,and toilet stop, lavy faucet stops ,and claw foot tub faucet and dring surround Youre (also spelled wrong) total to install these customer supplied items only is 1321.00" At the very least, he could have used the same form he gave to me when he visited my house to do the estimate. At least then the word would have been spelled correctly, and there would have been more information provided. Very disappointed in this company and will not use for any project.

The technician was very professional, prompt and a very nice guy trying to provide honest advice, which I appreciate. The initial diagnosis of a wet ceiling below a shower was 3 potential items. Two of the items he recommended that we do ourselves (he said he was trying to save us money, which I appreciate, but my objective was for him to at least definitively diagnose the problem on his visit...). The third item, resetting the toilet due to possibly a bad seal, seemed the least likely to be the culprit based on the lack of any moisture around the toilet, but we went ahead with it only to discover that putting it back on was a difficult endeavor and wasn't the issue (such is life, although being asked to chip in $10 extra for additional wax seals seemed odd to me). I realize leaks are difficult to diagnose but I guess I was expecting it to be partially resolved at the end of the day, however long it took, rather than be given a list of things to try next. I'd consider using them again, but perhaps not for diagnosis.

I called the company to complain and the company claims they have no record of me asking for 200 ft of line. The lady I spoke to at the office was also very defensive, saying that I should've called earlier even though in my last message I left, I had apologized for calling so much later. She told me that they put all the proper equipment on the truck, but that he didn't have enough line because I never told them I needed the extra line and that cameras weren't standard on the truck. She was completely defensive to the point where she said they weren't going to work with me anymore, which was fine with me, but I just couldn't believe the lack of customer service skills. I am disgusted with this company and feel that I wasted my time waiting for a plumber to do very little and a company that didn't seem to care that I was upset.
Description of Work: I'm a trustee of a property that's not my residence. It has a clogged toilet, so I called Waterworks to see if they can come out. I've also been told that in the house the drains from the basement to the street have tree roots growing in them that need to be snaked and grinded out, so I had asked them to give a quote and bring more than 200 ft of line. When the technician arrived, he was really dismissive and not friendly. He had a very flat personality. We went over what I had called about and he told me he didn't have 200 ft of line. He did unclog the toilet and offered to go back to the shop to get more line, but I told him that I have already waited for a while and they're not prepared and don't even have proper equipment for it and now I have to wait even longer for them to go back to the shop. I told him I was very upset, and told him that I wanted him to leave. So I paid him for the work was done and he left. I don't understand why he wouldn't bring enough line after I believe that I had told the company to bring more than 200 ft of line.
