Techmer Landscaping

Herb Techmer did not finish what was agreed in the invoice. The work actually completed was done well, however, the entire agreement in the invoice was not honored. The following Saturday, Mr. Techmer stated he would return to finish the work. However, Herb Techmer never arrived and refused to finish the job as stated in the invoice. Mr Techmer did take off a discount of $50 for customer dissatisfaction, however, my Mother felt that this would not cover the cost to finish the job. A letter from Mother was sent to Mr. Techmer asking him to complete the job or return an additional $50 to help finish the work along with a check for the invoice price minus the reduction (approximately an additional $270). Instead of trying to resolve the situation amicably, Mr. Techmer communicated with my Mother by telephone on the morning of May 24, 2010 and cussed her out repeatedly. He stated that he was returing the $270 check. During the short phone called, my Mother was told by Mr. Techmer that he was "f-ing" done with her multiple times. The "f" word was used repeatedly. Needless to say, Mr. Techmer's behavior during the phone call was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. This "F" rating that I am submitting on behalf of my Mother largely represents the langauge Mr. Techmer used towards my Mother during their phone call on May 24, 2010. Techmer Landscaping's rating would not be an "F" but for this phone call by Herb Techmer. Although a dispute regarding the landscaping services arose, there is no excuse for this type of behavior.

I have contracted with Herb Techmer in the past. This experience, as always, was seamless, pesonal, professional, and timely. Techmer desigend and installed beds at my previously landscape-free home and improved the curb appeal 100%. Herb is thoughtful and considers the homeowners budget when designig. His spring cleanup service is fantastic and a bargain for busy homeowners who can't seem to find the time to get the beds in shape for the season. I highly recommend Techmer Landscaping.
