I was very unhappy with their service. The man who came out only put traps out, that's all. He said that would fixed the problem. Neither one of the men who came out inspected the area Through the next few nights I could hear the animals chewing on something. Come to find out they were chewing on my dishwasher and ruined it. The major home appliance store revoked my warranty because it was animal damage. Even though I only paid $180 for the service. I was out $1200 because of the dishwasher. I also had to have a plumber come out for emergency service.

Thomas Christman came to our home on a Saturday morning to inspect for termites. We had discovered them under an old Styrofoam pad that had held an A/C unit. It was very close to the house and we were concerned. Tom was on time, polite and professional during the inspection. He reassured us by letting us know that termites are everywhere and as long as they are not in your home, we really don't have to have the treatment. As a business owner, it's certainly not in his best interest to tell us it's the homeowners judgment call as to whether to treat for termites, so we were very impressed! He calmly said we can just wait and watch for signs of termites in the house, he answered all our questions and did not pressure us at all. He explained what to look for and if we decided to do anything, to give him a call. We definitely plan to call him if we ever see signs of termites in our home.

They did not show and did not call for 3 appointments in a row. I called them to tell them that I wanted to cancel my services with them. The next scheduled appointment came and a technician showed up, after I had canceled my services. I think the issue is due to an internal communication problem.

I called and was scheduled immediately... But had to be rescheduled due to the snow and inability for people to get through it in the streets. When the gentleman came he was respectful and examined the home and said this winter had brought in quite a few calls about ants... He treated the problem inside but too much snow to do outside... I was told to call back if still present in a couple weeks... I did and they retreated in and out... I hope they are all gone... I did purchase a year service. Even though not pressured to do so... I really don't want to see anymore ants.

They promptly scheduled the estimate and showed up when they said they would. Everyone was very professional. They gave us a call ahead as requested before they came for the service and were very professional while here. Our ants were gone within a day and have not seen any since!

Ohio Exterminating sent out their owner, Andrew Christman, for my initial inspection. Andrew showed up during the requested time frame and called my cell phone 20 minutes before arriving as requested. He did a thorough inspection, was extremely knowledgeable and provided me with a quote on the spot. I told Andrew that I was getting other estimates and he was very understanding. After scheduling errors and unprofessionalism from the other companies, I had called I decided to award my termite service to Ohio Exterminating. Ohio Exterminating was the most professional of the companies I called AND had the most reasonable price. I will use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone with a pest control need.

We signed with them for them to come out again. They were great. It was an elder gentleman and he was very nice.

Corky Baily, our account rep, was courteous, professional, and on time. The first appointment didn't work out because it was raining too hard. Too bad the tech didn't call me and tell me he would be nearly an hour late (8:30 rather than 7:30 per Corky). Either way, the second tech (whose name I do not remember) showed up on time and gave them yellow jackets a run for their money. Whether it was because of the chemical or because of the cold weather I haven't seen any around. I'd like to think it was for both reasons.

When I bought my last home in 2002, I discovered termites and termite damage in the wood floors (after pulling up my carpet). For $700, I had the initial treatment and system installed. They came monthly to check to see if the termites had returned. I've had no problems and no signs of the little critters since. I pay the $154 annually, for maintaining the system. It was not high pressure sales when I first signed up. The only issue I have is that the bait traps are very obvious in my yard. Wish there was a way to deal with that. Also, the contract is transferable once I sell the home.

Several years ago we had some termites on our property. Ohio Exterminating treated the problem area and installed the sentinel termite control system. This same company has continued to do monthly inspections of the traps, and we remain termite-free.

They told us it would be a waste of money to do anything, because they would be gone once the sacadas are gone.

A representative called and came out the next day. He was very prompt and polite. He inspected the area and made arrangements for a technician to come out and treat the area on Saturday. Nephla (the technician) was so professional, polite, and well informed. We had terrific service.

The technician was extremely friendly and professional. He asked that we call within 1-2 weeks if we still saw spiders. They were great.

Technician arrived a little later than expected. Andrew stated that the tech would arrive before the nest became active. Observed tech as he addressed the nest. It appeared as though he gave the siding a good soaking and reassured me that the solution would take care of the bees. There was still a lot of activity around the nest after a week and I ended up calling the office to request another treatment. Another technician showed up the next day and treated the area with a liquid and powder solution. We did not see any bees after the second treatment. Everyone I communicated with was very courteous and helpful. I would recommend this company to others. They also accepted the 10% Angie's List coupon.

I called on Friday because the roofer found carpenter ants in the garage roof. I scheduled an estimate of two companies on Monday. Ohio Exterminating gave me a window of 12-5 that someone would be out but said that I could call at 10am for a more precise time. When I called, they said someone could come at 11 which was fine. He was very professional, took a quick look at the area, and said that if the roofer killed the bugs he saw and removed the bad wood that I really didn't need any treatment. He gave me an estimate anyway. I'm glad they were honest!

Responsive and thorough. We used to have to avail ourselves of this service once a year, because we were prone to carpenter ants. Fortunately, it's become an every-so-often procedure, lately.

We had been experiencing an excessive number of bugs (of all variety) in our finished basement. After Ohio Exterminating finished spraying the entire house, inside and out, the problem disappeared. We now use them for regular maintenance. Very professional and thorough. Would definitely recommend.

They were able to offer me a free estimate and they were out within a day or two. Andrew was very nice and friendly. He took a look at the bee situation and gave me the estimate. He was very understanding about our needing to discuss it before making a decision. When I let him know that we were going to go ahead with the service he had a technician out within 2 business days. I was very pleased. They have guaranteed the service for the entire season. Everyone involved was on time.

The assessment visit was done very professionally, and the owner answered my questions very well. He determined that the ants were chewing up the insulation in the roof of the porch and not chewing wood. He also found evidence of mice activity in the basement crawl space that I didn't even know about. When the first technician showed up, it was raining, so I rescheduled. However, the technician did not show up for the second appointment, causing me to wait for four hours on a weekday. I called the company, and they had no record of me rescheduling (and they had called me to reschedule). Thus, I had to make a third appointment, and the service was done well, and the technician took the proper time to do a good job, despite calls from the office to hurry up. Despite the communication problem, I would likely give them one more try.

I haven't seen one since they've been here. They did a good job.

Both representatives of the company arrived promptly and did their jobs in a professional manner. We were very pleased with the results.

Both estimate and service were done in a timely manner. The service technician gave lots of good information.

Corkey was on time, very knowledgeable, did not want to charge unnecessarily, and gave detailed advice. I will definitely call him when we need service.

The exterminator was very professional and also very pleasant. I was extremely happy with the work performed and with the care that the company showed for our home.
