My experience was fine. They sprayed and put a formula down. It killed many of them, but there are still some remaining because there were just so many. The representative did let me know that if I was not pleased I should contact him directly and he would take care of it

all went very smoothly. both company representatives were clearly experienced and able to answer varied questions about the process, problem, etc.

Very well, the week before, we had an estimate, we explained that we have 3 cats and an 18 month old, and then the day of the treatment, the company representative was cautious of our animals and daughter. I have noticed our ant colonies decreasing, and I am pleased so far. The only downside for me is pricing, we signed up for the quarterly treatments, and now I'm not really sure that is what we needed to do.

When I called them to do the work they came out very quickly and showed up right on time. If I have them come out within the next two months, which I'll probably do, they'll only charge me $60 to do another spraying.

Everthing was fine--until we came home from work on the day of the job and found that a huge mess had been left behind. It was a rainy day when the work was done and our driveway was covered in mud which, clearly, nobody had made any effort to remove. Inside of the garage, all of the items that had been leaning on the garage sidewall which had to be moved to perform the necessary work had been left piled in the center of the garage in a stack on the floor. We had to put everything back in its place before we could park a car in the garage. So, the "work" and everything leading up to it was fine--but the shape of the worksite after the job was done could have been tidied up in a considerably more professionla manner.

Everything was fine. They also called to follow up.

The treatment was effective. They were courteous. They showed up on time. They did the job in a timely manner. They were very professional. They were clean cut.

Very polite on the phone. Not long a wait for appointment. Very prompt. Explained what they would do & explained warranty which I used for them to come back one more time. Very neat, clean & efficient. Would recommend them.

Mike Ott performed the initial evaluation and Kent Penn has been treating the home on a quarterly basis. I have been very please with the professionalism of the company representatives. If I detect an increase in spider activity between service calls, someone is always able to come out to the home in a timely manner.

Couldn't be happier. We were having problems with spiders, inside and out. There were cobwebs all over the outside of our windows and on the porches that we were continuously taking down. I called for a free estimate. They had appointments available as early as the next day. I decided to go with a quarterly plan, although I didn't feel pressured at all during the free estimate to go with the quarterly plan. The service was scheduled for about 5-7 days later and the technician arrived on time and was professional. My only complaint is that I asked him if the spray would hurt the wood floors and he said absolutely not. It didn't hurt them, but it did leave a sticky residue on them that was hard to remove without damaging the floor. I will have them skip the areas with wood floors on future visits.

OK, had to reschedule a few times due to rain. Can't do anything about that. The company always calls to follow up about services. Also had to reschedule once because the company overbooked.

In the summer of 2007 I noticed what appeared to be a termite problem. Termites and whittled out a portion of a door frame. I had another company do an inspection first. As a second opinion I contacted Ohio Exterminating. Andrew Christian came to my house. He did an inspection, confirmed my suspicions, and explained two systems for dealing with termites -- the conventional liquid and the Sentricon system. He gave me a price quote on each. For the Sentricon system he quoted $1286 for the first year and then $265 per year after that to maintain the system. Because I am a member of Angie's list he decreased the first year rate to $1186. This rate was nearly half the amount that another company wanted to charge me for the same system. The system appears to be working. A worker comes around regularly and checks the traps and places a notification on my front door stating what he has found and done.

The estimator was on time. He was professional and answered all questions. He pointed out all areas of concern. The service crew was on time and they walked around the property to verify all areas to be sprayed. They were efficient and made sure all questions were answered. They did not attempt to sell a service contract, although they provide such services.

I called the company in the afternoon and they came out the following morning when they said they would to give a quote and to schedule the service. They scheduled it quickly and came out when they said they would to exterminate. The exterminator was thorough and professional, answering all my questions, and the extermination was successful.

Several years ago we had some termites on our property. Ohio Exterminating treated the problem area and installed the sentinel termite control system. This same company has continued to do monthly inspections of the traps, and we remain termite-free. We highly recommend this company as they have been very responsive to our needs and continue to update us monthly on the status of our system and what they have done to the property - i.e. replace wood in the sentinel system, or "no hits", etc. Good work.

I liked that they gave me an estimate. The technician arrived on time to do the work. I did not see any spiders for several months, so it was effective. It was a good service experience.

Great responsiveness from the first call to the visit. Call answered promptly and tech arrived within a few days to give an estimate. The service folks came the next morning within the time frame allotted and explained what they would be doing. I of course, hid in the house not being fond of stinging insects. They worked quickly and took care of everything. Several large nests were removed. Also found a carpenter bee opening in the fence and treated that. 60 day warranty.

They did check with us to make sure it was working. They were prompt and professional. I would use them again.

I chose this company based on previous ratings and price. I set up time to receive an estimate. They called to say they were on their way, as I was leaving to meet them, they called to say they could quote over the phone. Earl was extremely professional and helpful. I set up a time to have my service. Since this was for a rental unit I had to notify my renters that I would be entering the unit which became very frustrating when Ohio Exterminating rescheduled the appointment twice. When they finally did arrive it was at the wrong time and they did not call ahead to let me know they were coming like I was told. The renters just happened to be home and called to let me know they were there. The service was great and I do believe the price was right, but for us they just didn't have their act together on scheduling.

They were not pushy at all and they gave me lots of different options. They were very prompt and punctual. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Earl Huff was on time, and explained that there is no termite warranty with their company, unless the homeowner purchases the Sentricon system of preventive maintenance. I explained that I didn't want to invest in a system unless it was needed. Earl was understanding of this, as some companies offer, for a yearly fee, an inspection and warranty. (We have in the past paid a yearly fee for such warranty, knowing that any termite eradication costs would be covered by the warranty). Earl offered to do the inspection anyway, for free, to let us know what he saw. Thankfully, Earl found nothing worrisome. If the situation warrants, I would definitely consider their system. Further, I am thankful for their straightforward communication and honest service.
