The technicians arrived when promised. They patiently & courteously answered my remaining questions. They didn't rush to complete the job & seemed intent on setting the baiting stations in a way that was specific to my situation. They were thorough, efficient & even took the time to double check that the fence gate was properly latched to prevent my dog from escaping.

Spoke to owner. He happily accomodated my schedule calling for immediate service prior to moving in. Offered discount for angies list and discount for annual agreement. very friendly and professional.

I called Ohio Exterminating and they sent someone out the next morning to take a look at the issue. Work was scheduled for two days later. They came out, applied pesticide to the hive, and solved the issue.

We dropped another company in favor of Ohio Exterminating. We started getting springtails in our home after we had mulch put down right up against the house (2008). They are very a tough pest to get rid of. We have been through some treatments with Ohio Exterminating. They were much better to work with than previous companies. We are on a quarterly treatment with them. In addition to their regular treatments they added treatments for springtails at no extra cost. We have not seen many since treatments began. They are great. They came out and retreated for a second time for free. They have definitely helped our problem. They also encourage you to call and let them know how the treatments are working.

He came out in a 9am - 1pm window at around 10:10am. I told him I had seen 3 carpenter ants in the last couple weeks in different places in my house. He identified the one I caught as a carpenter ant swarmer (had wings). He inspected the inside and outside of the house, mostly near the basement and told me I don't have a problem. Likely the ants found their way in by chance or looking for food. He told me to keep the basement dry and fix any leaks as they look for damp wood to resettle into. Best part was it was all at no charge! The "B" on responsiveness was because I called them on Saturday and they took until Tuesday to get here.

They were horrible and come out without prior notification, and tried charging us for service. I told them I didn't need them 4 times a year, but they said it was their contract. Service was horrible. One man who serviced my home came to talk to me in my bedroom (not about business), which is not acceptable and unprofessional. They charged me once when they did not service my home, claiming they had come into my home. They are irresponsible. You must sign a contract in order for them to service your home. I will not use them again and tell others to stay away from Ohio Extermination!

They provided an estimate, explained our options, with no pressure. Upon our purchase, they came on time to install the system. Stations were placed around our house, without damage to landscaping, and they sprayed the live termites along the one garage wall. Ohio Exterminating completed four monthly station checks last fall and returned right on time this April for monthly monitoring. One year later, no termites have "hit" upon the sentricon stations (there's no guarantee -- the system is dependent upon termite behavior), but we have been happy with their ongoing service. We had another termite swarm this spring, and Ohio Exterminating sent a termite technician to inspect the situation. He installed additional Sentricon stations in the infested area in hopes of increasing the system's chance of success. Another company had warned that other companies might not provide adequate service, but I've found that Ohio Exterminating is faithfully fulfilling our agreement, at a lower price.

Ohio Exterminating Company was the only pest control company offering a free inspection, which was greatly appreciated since we were not certain if we had a carpenter ant problem. The inspector correctly identified the problem as carpenter ants and proceeded to write an estimate detailing the corrective action. The estimate was clear and accurate with no hidden charges. One complaint I have is that the company gives "cable-guy" estimated appointment times with a two hour block. The estimated service time we were given was 10-12, which they were slightly late for (12:10) and did not call ahead to say they would be a little late. Call aheads and firmer appointment times would improve their customer service. Nevertheless, once the crew arrived, they listened to what I had to say, treated all areas I thought were affected by carpenter ants without question, were respectful of my property, and showed a willingness to go the extra mile to solve our problem. The only other issue I had with Ohio Exterminating Company is there was some discrepancy over the toxicity of the chemicals used and when we could return home safely (toddler and pregnant wife). A handout describing the chemicals more clearly and when it is safe for the customer to be in the environment where the chemicals were used would be useful. Overall though, I recommend this company as they are fairly priced, effective, and provide good customer service (with some room for improvment, as noted).

I have used them for years. I have three rental properties. They come out every month end to one of the properties. They come out during the middle of month to the other properties. I spent around $45, the last time they came out. They are very punctual. They arrive on the days they say they would arrive. They have done a good job in keeping the insects out of the houses. I?ll continue to use their services in the future.

They did a real good job. We would use them again. We have a contract with them. They will be coming back in spring periodically. We had a real problem. They really handled the job after the first time. They were very expensive too.

It was a great experience. The salesman came out first and confirmed what was needed. We left our garage unlocked, and they returned and treated without our even seeing them.

They were very professional, did a thorough job, came when they said they would and I was satisified. They explained everything to me over the phone and that is what they did when they came.

They have been around here for a long time. They were recommended to me by a friend. They were reasonably priced and very responsive. I felt really comfortable with them. The gentleman who came out was very professional and helpful. I would use them again if needed.

See above. We had a very good experience. The initial man who came was very friendly and knew his stuff. He checked out the basement and showed us where the ants were coming in. The man who treated the house for yellow jackets and ants was also very punctual and friendly. Since the house was treated, there have been no more yellow jackets or ants.

They were excellent. They came out once and treated for carpenter bees. We needed a re treatment a month later. I can get a 60 day retreat done free of cost. We needed a re treatment for the third time which they did beyond the 60 days period with no extra charge. They were punctual and honest. They found a billing error. We had actually been billed twice. The office called and informed us. We know that they have credited the amount to our account.

They did not find any problems. It was a good experience. He was very polite.

The exterminating company sends a knowledgeable person over to the building if the tenants have seen some bugs or pests and they take care of it. They are very good. They are very responsive. They do quality work and their price isn't bad. They come at the time they say they will. The estimator that came out was very good.

The first time they came out they got the wrong hole, and the bees were still there. They came back a second time and got in the right hole and got rid of the bees.

They were very pricey to begin with but I knew that when I was going in. What I needed was unreal. They treated the inside of the house and they put around 28 traps around the outside of the house. I have not had a problem since and I am considering discontinuing the use of the traps as the water problem that we had has been fixed. Overall they have been very good and they knew what they were doing.

Several bees were killed and the infestation appeared to be over. However, a few months later, bees were again appearing. I called the company and talked twice to their receptionist and left a message once on voice mail. I've never received a return call, which I find puzzling as Ohio Exterminating is so well ranked on Angie's list. (Except for this, I would rate the firm higher.)

I consider Ohio Exterminating to be a very professional and ethical company. They scheduled an appointment in a timely manner and showed up on time. They performed an inspection of my home and could have told me that I had infestation and set me up with an expensive ongoing program. Instead, they told me that they found no evidence of infestation. They sent the certificate in the mail as promised.

Our handyman found termites inside an exterior wall while replacing drywall. He stopped the project while I called Ohio Exterminating to see if they could have someone come out to our house while the wall was still exposed. At first, they wanted to do an inspection, but I convinced them we had a more immediate problem. Ultimately, they had someone come out within minutes of my call. The technician (Clark, I believe) sprayed the inside of the exposed exterior wall before we installed the new drywall. He also sprayed the exterior of the wall from outside. A few days later, they installed a number of termite bait stations around our house so they could monitor and determine if we had gotten rid of the termites, and if not, kill any that were left behind.
