I loved the slinger truck. I will never have topsoil delivered any other way.

To start with, I basically live on the side of a hill with a 150 ft. driveway that has approx. a 20-25 degree slope. When the driver arrived, he quickly realized he couldn't get the truck to hold on the slope while he ran the Slinger, so he shot as much gravel up the driveway as he could from the bottom. Then he backed the truck up the driveway and managed to shoot the remainder of the gravel into a huge mound about halfway up, which will enable me to spread it across the top half of my driveway. It still means I have some work to do, but the driver went way above & beyond to get the limestone shot as far up the driveway as possible. I truly appreciated his effort & creativity ~ bottom line...it was terrific customer service and awareness on his part, and it speaks volumes about himself and the company!! I will definitely use Jones Topsoil in the future and they will get glowing recommendations from me whenever the opportunity presents itself! Thank you for doing such a tremendous job!

Timely delivery with helpful insight from company. They were true to their advertisement.

This is the second time we have used Jones to deliver bulk topsoil to build beds around our yards. Both times they were perfect. This past spring, we had topsoil the size of a car delivered to the rear of our property. The driver backed this ENORMOUS slinger truck down our narrow drive, and perfectly aimed this pile of dirt so it did not go anywhere but the driveway. It was amazing. The quality of the topsoil is excellent. And, they deliver quickly and when they said they would.

They just delivered the top soil. They brought 16 cubic yards of top soil. They were punctual, they called me before they showed up and dumped the soil where I wanted.

Jones Topsoil Co. were fine. I had wanted my topsoil delivered on a Friday, so I could work on it over the weekend. Another company could not honor my request, so I called Jones and they had no problem hitting my Friday morning request and it was basically the same price. They delivered it and it was fine.

The delivery man called approximately 30 minutes prior to arrival and arrived right on time. He unloaded the topsoil in my driveway as requested.

What a great experience! First I accidentially ordered too much online, so I called and they made the change right away, very simple! Then when the delivery day came they showed up a few minutes early and we weren't quite ready. The gentleman who delivered, I can't remember his name-Troy maybe?- was so great! He helped us and was very patient as we didn't have a 100% clear plan of what we wanted to do. I would turn around and he'd have a shovel and was helping us spread and keep things going. We added new flower beds to our front yard and he was able to put the dirt right where we wanted it. We were beyond impressed and will definitely use Jones again!

They were wonderful. I felt that the price was the best that I could find. They guy that delivered it was terrific. He could put it anywhere. It was incredible. He got it exactly where it went. He was slinging it over a tree right where it needed it go. They got it down between our house and the neighbor's hedge.

Overall, good but not perfect. Everyone else I called about this job said that I should contact Jones because they had the "slinger" that would save my driveway and yard from truck damage. That was true, and everything went well in that respect. The problem was that I kept getting conflicting stories on the phone with Jones reps about what kind of soil could be run through the slinger, and I wound up paying significantly more for the job than what was ultimately needed and what was expected based on early estimates (which I got late last fall). Also, it was impossible to tell how much topsoil was actually delivered in each truckload. I wound up with 4 truckloads totaling (according to the invoices) 68 cu yards, where my estimate of an upper bound on the size of the hole was more like 45 cu yards. So, while the final result is fine (except for the price, which was about twice what I had anticipated), I can't help wonder why it took so much more soil to fill the hole than a simple calculation suggested it would. Just sayin'...

Company was responsive when I called. Product was delivered the same day. Top soils were as described on company website. Everyone with whom I had contact was professional, focused on the business at hand. Good products, fair prices, I will use again.

In the past one truckload normally was adequate for the driveway but it had been 4 years since I had ordered any gravel (my oversight). The first load did about 1/2 of the driveway. The driver stated he could get another load and bring it right back. That was greatly apprecaited since I didn't want to reschedule the balance needed for another day,The driver did a very good job of spreading out the gravel using the slinger on his truck. It was a nice even spread and just the depth that I wanted. Before he started, I showed him a picture of the driveway after a heavy rain and where the water would stand. He knew exactly what to do with the spreading of the gravel to eliminate the standing water issues.

I went on "Jones Top Soil" website and ordered 16 yards of pulverized top soil at 7:45 AM. I had selected a delivery time between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Noon. At 8:20 AM the truck driver called me and said that he was already loaded and would be at my place in about 1 1/4 hours. The driver,who was very professional, arrived on time. I suggested to the driver that it would be best to pull into the driveway ( over 300 ft. long ) since the load of top soil will be dumped behind the work shop. The job was well done and I will use "Jones Top Soil" in the future as well as recommend them.

Super fast and responsive service during a busy holiday week. They were very accomodating by dumping the load in two spots. One very small gripe, remind them to clean out the truck if they were hauling stone before they pick up your topsoil.

We were redoing the landscaping in front of our house, and needed topsoil to build up the old beds. We called on Friday afternoon at 3 pm about having 7 yards of topsoil delivered. The truck was at our home on Saturday morning at 8 am (the next day) to make the delivery. The service was great and the driver did a nice job of dropping the soil in our driveway exactly where we wanted it.

Ordered 14 yards of topsoil because of comptetive pricing. Delivery could not be made due to tree overhanging road 25+ feet above road. Understandibly not their fault however their remedy was to deliver in two loads on a single axel. Only problem was price jump of over $140 more for two deliveries instead of one. I talked with sales manager and they were unwilling to meet me in the middle on pricing. I was put off by thier unwillingness to work with me and was basically told they do a lot of buisness and my small order isnt a drop in the bucket to their total sales. After being treated like that i dont care if i have to spend more money somewhere else every dollar spent is important to me and I appreciate a buisness that cares about every customer no matter how small.
