Mr. Neff came to our house the next day after we contacted him to see what needed to be done. He then called us and gave us a verbal estimate which we accepted. He came with his employee and showed him the work to be done. The plastering was completed quickly with no mess, and all three rooms look very good. The work didn't take as long as Mr. Neff thought that it might. Because of this, he charged us a lot less than the verbal estimate. Mr. Neff is very personable and easy to talk to, and we will definitely call him again for any future plastering needs.

I had decided to replace the1980s light fixture and medicine cabinet in the bathroom, but when I took down the medicine cabinet, I discovered it was hiding a hideously bad patch job in the wall. The badly taped seams were cracked, and the drywall was bumpy and lumpy, I dont know how the medicine cabinet fit flush on the wall it was so bad. I called George Neff, he have me an estimate 2 days later, and the next week was out to repair the patch job, as well as some cracks in the den. His workers cleaned up and left no dust or residue in either rooms. Very pleased with the job. Was able to finish painting the bathroom and hang the new mirror several days later. Will definately use him again.

Called Mr. Neff and arranged a good time for him to come out. He is very kind and professional and knows his business. He called the next evening with the quote. We arranged to have the work done in the next few days and Mr. Neff came out with a wonderful, professional drywall expert and showed him the job. This polite gentleman worked diligently and quietly all day, did excellent work, and even repaired holes that I had made trying to install curtains. Our ceiling and walls look perfect, as if there had never been any damage.

It went well. After many failed attempts to patch the stippling on the ceiling ourselves, we called Richard. He came to our home while we were at work and made the ceiling look like new. Impressive. Neat, clean, quick and professional.

It was a very pleasant experience, for a repair situation, and I was confident that the work would be repaired carefully and skillfully, which it was. We would recommend Neff and Sons for stucco repair.

I called Mr. Neff and was able to schedule an appointment for an estimate right away. I know that plastering is an art and difficult to do. His guys were able to come out and plaster everything in a day and sand it the next day. I was very pleased with the work that was done and would definitely use them again. I highly recommend this company for it's services.

Repaired areas that I had not mentioned during original quote. Brought all supplies, including water, to repair areas. Cleaned up areas when work was complete. Would have liked knowing to wait one week before painting when original quote was made.

Richard Neff, who grew up in the business and really knows his craft, came prompty to give estimate and write up a contract, which was emailed to me. His workers showed up on time for two days, did an EXCELLENT job of repair, and cleaned up such that I did not need to even run a vacuum cleaner afterward. The painters were VERY pleased with the job as it made priming and painting the repaired walls an easy task. Too often the repair on plaster is not appropriate....using a compound appropriate only to drywall....and so the painting job is not as good We had George Neff company do same in our living room perhaps 15 years ago and not one single crack has ever reappeared. This is an old, established plaster company (1917) that does more than just repairs but also can create wonderful things for the home out of plaster, custom or from a mold. I will have them back when I have more rooms ready for them to repair. Actually, we are very lucky to have a great plaster repair company in Columbus.

When we moved into our house 4 years ago, the inspector identified areas of the stucco that had been patched. In just a year or two, the stucco already needed to be repaired. It wasn't until later that we found out that the previous homeowner had attempted to repair the stucco himself. We had many quotes for the stucco repair ranging from $200 to $9000. We went with George Neff because he clearly explained the repair and took the time to go around the entire house to identify if any other areas needed to be repaired. We really appreciated that he was honest about what work really needed to be completed. The work went great despite many delays due to a rainy spring. The match to the color and pattern of the existing stucco is excellent and I am confident that this repair will hold up. They even were careful not to damage our landscaping, despite working over a very thorny bush, and also reattached our fence to the house where it had had to be removed. I would not hesitate to hire this company again.

When I called Neff, they were able to come out very quickly. It took one guy a couple of hours to replace the lathe and fix the plaster. Everything went well.

They were great. It was an expensive job but it was well worth the money.

He was very good and it was a good experience. Everything was positive ? he responded quickly, showed up quickly and fixed the problem quickly. He was very reasonably priced.

The interaction was great. We appreciated the fact that they specialize in plaster and in working in older homes in the area because it can be hard to find. Other contractors recommended them and they proved recommendation worthy. They were a pleasure to work with and did high quality work. We didn?t compare prices and we would use them again.

Went great. It took awhile to set up the appointment, but he was timely when he started the work. He also did a great job cleaning up around his work area. He was professional and charged a reasonable / low price as compared to others. (Can't remember the exact price because he did the work over a year ago). He's a very nice man.

Neff & Company did exceptional work in fixing our master bathroom walls. The bathroom had been remodeled before and the previous homeowners apparently took some short cuts by just adding new drywall over the original gypsum board in some places but not in others. The bathroom has a vaulted ceiling and we didn't want to rip everything out to the ceiling, but just the first eight feet in order to get out the existing tile. In adding the new green board, it was beyond our skill set to even up the walls ourselves and after many hours of mudding and sanding they still just were not as nice as we really wanted (we have a skylight and so every bump and lump in the walls shows). I found Neff & Company through Angie's List and Richard Neff came out the next morning to give us an estimate. I was afraid they would be unwilling to finish the job since we had started it or would want to rip everything out and start over, but he said it wouldn't be a problem to just plaster over the green board to make the walls even. We were on a tight timeline and he had a quote back to us the same day and then a two-man crew out on the day we asked for. The entire experience was hassle-free and I am still marveling at how perfect the walls are -- and I mean perfect! I have a lot of experience with drywall finishers but professionally-applied plaster is an entirely different level of quality. Overall, we're very happy with the results and the experience and will be having them out again to do some stucco work and ceiling repair.

This vendor was contacted after a review of Angies List. Very professional job, very good quality repair. Nothing noted re clean up. The price was quoted at $700 or less, but given the work performed, we thought it would have to be $700--and it was. Very satisfied with the work performed.

It went great. These folks were on time, did their work, and helped me with my claim with the insurance company.

Overall, the experience was excellent. They arrived promptly, did a wonderful job, and cleaned up after themselves. Everything went smoothly and like it should've. I'm satisfied with their services and I've recommend them to my friends.

Ceiling was complicated because it had a canvas covering that had to be removed. All work was done well.

He did a great job, but I thought he was expensive. It was $1000 for each panel, and they were just ten by five, or something similar. The work he did and everything else was fine. I have had ongoing stucco problems, and it has been hard finding somebody to do such a small piece.

Outstanding service. Dick Neff was prompt in estimating and added the chimney work overnight, even though it required use of a lift and color matching stucco. The plaster and stucco workers were courteous, careful, extremely competent in their craft, and cleaned up.

Getting the estimate was very easy. Suggested that since the damage was due to water damage we might want to discuss coverage with homeowners insurance. Time between estimate and repair was under a week. Prompt, courteous and did a good job cleaning up after the job. One of the easiest experiences I've had.

The estimator did a good job identifying what the issue was with our livingroom ceiling. Although it was more than I planned on paying, they did an excellent job on the repairs and in setup and cleanup. I even enjoyed the men singing while they were working!

They arrived on time, completed perfect work, and submitted a bill for the amount quoted. Outstanding company. I have used them several times in the past and always received excellent service.
