We offer installation, service and heating repair. Description of Work: We have a contract with them for twice a year checkup and maintenance. They seem to do very well, they call and remind us for the appointments. They show up on time and the techs they send do a good job and everything has been functioning well.

Description of Work: When another top rated furnace company came out repeatedly, could not fix the furnace, and recommended we buy a new one, Favret came out and in one visit fixed it for less than $300. I will only use them in the future.

Description of Work: Replaced furnace (59TN6A08001714), A/C (24VNA936A003) and thermostat (SYSTXCCITC01). Installed new humidifier (HUMCCLBP2417) and new air purifier (GAPAAXCC2025). Numbers in parenthesis are model numbers of the new equipment. All new equipment is Carrier brand. Approximate cost provided in this review is after rebates from Carrier and the power company. | |Work was done very professionally and exactly as scheduled. Installers were courteous and very caring with regards to how they treated our home and the new equipment. | |Have not yet used the A/C but everything else appears to be working flawlessly. The only exception is that occasionally remote connection to the thermostat across the web does not work via my iphone (not sure exactly why - lots of possible or potential causes). | |The air purifier has helped with my wife's allergy symptoms which are significantly reduced. She commented she is not sure she still needs the allergy shots any more. She is also sleeping better. | |When in use the two stage furnace does indeed get the job done most of the time using only the first stage of heating. Programmable thermostat does a nice job of getting the house back up to temperature just shortly before the programmed 'wake' time. | |Favret Heating and Cooling may not negotiate the price down from their initial estimate a lot but they sure do a great job of delivering everything they say they will. Would not hesitate to use or recommend them in the future for repairs, installs or replacements.

Description of Work: They put in a new motor into our furnace. They put in incorrectly, which shorted out our fuse box and we had to take an extra day off work and had no heat for a night. They tried to charge extra though we were on a service contract. I was disappointed and will not use them to replace the furnace when it comes time for that. We've had some problems with the air conditioning also.
