In the past we had really had bad experience with painters, but not with CertaPro painters. From the owner, to the field supervisor, to the crew supervisor, to the crew, everyone was a pleasure to work with. My wife and I were very impressed with their work ethics, quality of workmanship, professionalism and friendliness that the painting crew gave us. Living in a very old home there is always problems when we remodel, but the crew of CertaPro Painters met those problems head-on and every time they impressed us with their quality of work.

Quickly delivered estimate and clearly explained all aspects of the estimate. Was able to schedule the job for the day after the estimate was approved. Paint crew arrived on time and worked steadily until the job was done, which was around the time estimated. Exceptional work on the walls and especially fixing the transition from the crown and baseboard to the walls. Obviously painted by professionals. The crew cleaned up leaving no trace they had been there except for the incredible paint job. Everything went as expected and hoped for.

Certapro was referred to me by a friend of my wife. I scheduled the appointment for the quote and had Dan Goodman do the estimate. They came out in a timely manner. Dan was very professional and knowledgeable about the painting process. He answered all my questions and concerns. The estimate was great and I booked them to do the work. They scheduled me quickly and showed up prepared and on time. The crew worked hard and got it done ahead of schedule. They were very polite and professional. They left my house very clean which was very important to me. I had no complaints with the work and thought it was done with superior quality. I was also pleased with the follow up to make sure everything was done to my expectations. I plan to use them again on some more interior and exterior painting. I will definitely refer them to others.

Again very professional. Dan came by with samples and gave us great ideas for what would look best. We have had so many compliments on our house. Made it look brand new. Thanks again for the fantastic work!

Painter was on time, very professional. Explained all work before he started. Owner of company checked in on progress at beginning and end of job. Follow up was good too. Done on time as well. Overall great job.

The two painters, Mike and Connie, were a great team. They went through the entire job with me prior to starting and kept in touch with me as the work progressed to make sure everyting was done the way I wanted. I feel they went out of there way to ensure that all aspects of the job went as planned and the results were excellent.

They really did a very nice job. They were very neat and cleaned up after their work. They were courteous and did not play loud music. They were very mindful of our shrubbery. On the interior painting, I was very pleased with the work they did.

We scheduled CertaPro to do this job while we were away on vacation. When we came home, our house looked like it had a "facelift". My husband originally requested the estimate, which surprised me, because I did not even imagine the home needed anything especially since it was only 6 years old. Once the painting was done, I definitely could tell the difference and very happy with the work done!!! The painters had everything cleaned up and left perfect. I would certainly recommend CertaPro to anyone and I will definitely use them again.

Met with Daniel Goodman- went very well. He gave us an estimate, and then info to meet with Mary, their color consultant. She came out to us on a Sunday afternoon for a while to discuss options- we were swtiching colors for our trim & house. Mary was very helpful & we chose the colors. The painting began that next week- took 4 days. The team was very professional (led by Rex, I believe?)- no issues & very thorough job & cleanup. We love our new house! We get compliments weekly!

Very pleased with the service, they helped up select a great color for the space, the painting crew of 2 were right on time and did a great job. one of the guys even stopped by the next day to check for any spots that needed touching up, and to make sure that all the clean up was done correctly. I was very impressed by the service we received.

They were great. They were thorough, paid attention to detail and communicated well. They were hard workers and got the job done quickly. Their price was competitive. They were not completely local to me but were from the southern part of Minneapolis.

They helped us with choosing the colors. They gave us a lot of different options and recommendations. We then narrowed it down. They were very professional and helpful. They did a really good job at a good price. We liked the overall finished product. We have also recommended them to others.

They did an excellent job. It took them two days to paint everything in that I requested. After they left, I noticed one wall in the living room needed to be retouched. I called them and they were more than willing to make things right. They came out and touched up the paint and everything looks great.

We had a great experience with this company...and we are not easily impressed. Shawn and his crew were our painters... they were meticulous, careful and their attention to detail is great... the house turned out great and the trim looks fabulous.. Shawn worked us even though we changed our trim color prior to them starting to paint it... he put up a sample to let us look at it and we realized there wasn't enough contrast, we picked a new color that night and he called us the next morning to see if he should pick up new trim color... he called prior to starting and stopped by at the end to make sure we were happy with the work... Adam and Joe were great to work with as well, communication was exceptional all the way through... we highly recommend them.

Pros: Marketing guy was very courteous and gave great price. They did the job on weekend for my convenience The Crew was Excellent, Courteous and did great job. Cons: Marketing guy insisted I use Sherwin Williams paint. After the job was done, I noticed a few places where it showed the white walls. The crew was happily touching the missed portions, but Job Supervisor was rude and said he would charge me $550 extra for a 3rd coat of paint if I say anything more. I had to almost beg him to just touch up few areas for free. At the end of the job they were in a lot of hurry. They did not do any walk through. The Crew left a lot of paint drops on my carpet. Repeated calls to their office and job supervisor did not yield any results. Finally I called a carpet cleaning company that took care of the stains. They broke a switch cover on the first day. They said they would replace it, but never did.

After a slight delay to find and hand mix a super durable acrylic paint for our metal stairs, they got right to work, having 2/3 of the job completed in the first day. They took great care with our space, only spilling one tiny drop of paint on a carpet I told them we were going to replace in a few weeks anyway.

Incredibly overpriced and bad workmanship. The ceiling seams turned out bowed. The painters attempted to paint over black marks from their ladder on a wall that they weren't even painting leaving stripes in the wall. This is a big deal because there is a huge Mac Worthington sculpture on that wall. They painted over a spackled area that had not been sanded. My mom told me if I can't say anything nice about someone then don't say anything at all, but these guys really blow!

I didn't use them for the job. They came out promptly and gave a very clear estimate.

We spent about $800 on that work. Our experience with them went incredibly well in the quoting stage and their account men came over to our house and really helped us out in terms of picking paint colors. The work that they did was really fantastic and it was above and beyond the call of duty. They got that all settled, brought the paint over themselves and we did not have to go and get it. The price was very fair and other team that showed up to do the painting and they did a really good job, and I was pleased with what they did.

They use subcontractors to do the work. They seemed okay.

The first painter filled in holes and cracks; the second crew (2) did the actual painting. It turned out to be a 3 day job - Thursday, Friday and Saturday. . Certapro was recommended to me by an interior designer who helped me select the colors. I am very pleased with the results.

The work was fantastic and quick. The person who came to give a quote also gave a color consultation. He suggested about the colors and combinations that would look good on my house. It was affordable.

CertaPro gave us the lowest estimate. We requested to use Ken H. due to another Angie's List member's report. Dan was very responsive to any request that we made and communicated with us promptly with the delay of the job due to Ken's schedule. We had some minor issues with the job but they were corrected to our satisfaction. We were, for the most part, happy with the job with the price we paid.

I called for the estimate which was scheduled within 2 days. Within minutes of the estimate, I received an email with the details. I accepted and the work was scheduled with a week. This was followed by other emails confirming the completion of the job. BTW: I also received estimates from Buckeye Painting who was consistently at least 20% higher than Certapro, including their supposed 20% Angie's List discount. Buckeye's estimate was $650 for this same job.

The old saying "you get what you pay for" is true in this experience. They were very cheap but their work is very poor and sloppy and we were extremely dissapointed. We hired them to paint the exterior of our home, they did not scrape the old paint very well, missed painting an entire section on the side of the house and failed to caulk and seal all the wood to wood gaps properly . When I called them to discuss my disapointed they were not very friendly, however they did send someone back to fix some of the areas that were not done properly the first time, however it still does not look great.
