Window Nation Cleveland

Our experience with this company is something we never want to repeat. First we were told the credit card would not be charged until after a lead inspection was performed, since this would reduce the cost by $750 if no lead was found. The card was charged immediately, and it took 4 months to have the $750 charge removed. The two man team who did the removal and replacement of our 10 windows damaged 7 of the marble sills beyond repair. The windows themselves were filthy with caulk smeared on most of them and pieces of the cut trim were left in the flower beds. After several months of 'discussion' as to how to resolve the sill damage, it was finally turned over to Window Nation's insurance company. When the insurance company called, they said they represented not Window Nation, but David Diguilio dba Window Wizards. The insurance settlement could only cover actual replacement of the sills and repair of the surrounding areas during replacement, but not the required removal and replacement of the windows themselves. Not really a satisfactory result, Since this was our first experience with replacing windows, we're happy it's probably our last. Let me say that the price and quality of the windows are acceptable, and everyone we spoke to at Window Nation was polite.

Everything was just great. Their salesman Doug was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail which I really appreciated, having no experience in the window replacement process. I was told that on the day of the installation the crew would arrive between 8 am and 10 am and they were there promptly at 8 am. The 2 guys who installed my windows were very friendly and professional and had the windows installed in no time. They answered all of my questions and cleaned up everything very well, couldn't even tell they were there. I was extremely happy with the whole process from start to finish.

The installers did a nice job. The windows were installed at my daughters house on the west side of Cleveland. It was a buy two get one free offer. We tried to get the Angie's list discount but they wouldn't do it. They did give us a factory rebate but that was the best they would do.

Salesman was canvassing the neighborhood a little over a week ago and I agreed to set an appointment. I was told I would get a call on Friday to confirm a Saturday appointment. They were clear that they wouldn't come if I did not confirm. I was received a voicemail on Thursday (not Friday) and called the gentleman at the number given and left him two messages to confirm my appointment and also gave another phone number he could reach me if they needed anything else. I arranged my schedule to be home by 12:00 and they were a no-show. I called the company to find out what was going on and they said the person I left the message for was out of the office the last couple of days so they didn't get the message. They said a call was made this morning but no message was left and I was not home. Just a poor process. First, call on the day you say you are going to and then pick up your messages when I follow your instructions. You were clear I needed to confirm or you wouldn't come for the appointment. I held up my end. I will find someone else. Thanks for wasting my time.

They are a pretty good-sized company. They have a couple of stores. They did a nice job. The installation seemed fine. The workers were very good. They were professional. They knew what they were doing. They were on time. They did a good job. It was very quick and timely. I was pleased with the installation. It took them a day to do the service. They left the area the way they found it. The price was good.

They did a fantastic job. I thought they were a little overpriced but I was going for a higher quality. They got the windows installed in less than 12 hours. Considering how cold it was they did an excellent job. They were very conscientious of my husband's condition that he could not get cold and I was very impressed with them. The cleanup was fantastic.

I had a very good experience. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and very professional. They did everything they said they would and the windows are great.

The salesman was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining the windows with now pressure tactics. The installers showed up on time and did a fabulous job. We're very pleased.

It was excellent service! They were clean and neat. The job took less time than they estimated, and we love the windows!

Price was outstanding, cheaper by 15% than the other two companies we received an estimate from. Installer was VERY clean and polite. Arrived right on time. Forgot to mention the quality of the door blew away the doors we replaced, which were only 5 years old. We will definitely use them again when we have a window/door need.

The project went smoothly from sale to finish, which took just four weeks. I believe our salesman Doug steered us to the best value windows, and he saw the project through to make sure it went smoothly. The measurement-taker and the installation crew, Kenny and John, all did a very good job. My wife says she's even more pleased with the results than she expected. It doesn't get much better than that.

I simply have to say that we are thrilled with the windows...will finish putting them in the sun room either late Fall or early Spring. Note: my husband was one day back from the hospital, and they were accommodating to us...starting in another room, and, at one point, working around him. (I think he enjoyed watching what they were doing.) I received a call from the lady who sold us the windows. She checked carefully about the service, and confirmed our purchase for rest of windows at later date. All in all the whole experience was super. We have asked that the same installer be with us for the next phase of our work. We love these windows!

I am not really sure where to start here. This company was my 3rd one out to quote. the first 2 where Zen Windows and Lowe's. Both of the other companies were very easy to deal with. they came out. we walked around, they measured my openings and answered all my questions. They were very polite and did their best to not waste any of my time or theirs. overall they were both positive meetings. The window nation rep showed up and was irritated that i was a few mins late. my wife was home but he got an attitude with her and another contractor i had here working on something else. When i got home he was still in the driveway so we walked around the front of the house. I informed him that i had 2 other quotes and that both companies were in the 13-18k range for replacing all of my windows and that if they were higher than those numbers we could just stop right there and part ways friends. he told me he would work it up for a few mins and let me know. we then move into the house so he could go through his sales pitch with both my wife and myself. i explained that i am in the trades and i know how window replacements go. i didnt really need the entire pitch but he insisted. he went out and got his portable window and then proceeded to show us how everybody else sold crappy products and they had the best product. at this point i am getting uncomfortable with how much he is knocking other companies. the product may be the best. do you really need to insult the other people? we get through that disaster and come to the price. he asks how we are going to be paying. an odd question to come up prior to price but at this point i didnt think to much about it. i tell him we will be paying by check/credit card. he then asks if we won the lotto and was almost angry i didnt want to finance the install. thats when he tells me their price is around 55k. so now i am getting a little angry. 30 mins prior i told him if he thinks its going to be over 18k or so to stop and call it a night. i informed him that there was no way we would be using window nation. he then tells me that they can offer 35% off. again way to much. then he asks me what i would be willing to pay again. at this point i tell him that i would like him to leave my house. i am not negotiating with myself or purchasing a used car. at this point i am told that they dont need my business they sell millions of dollars in windows and most people finance them. I am embarrassed for the owners of this company. if this is the type of sales that they push they should be ashamed. I cant stress enough that these guys are high-pressure sales. I was actually angry after the saleman left that i wasted so much of my personal time, and even worse that i let someone like that in my home and around my family. we ended up going with ZEN windows. Dan is friendly and polite, basically the opposite of the person that Window Nation sent to my home.

I called Window Nation for a quote for replacement windows. The person on the phone, when I asked what windows they carried, said something like "many different brands." She took my phone number and email address; they emailed me a confirmation; they called the day before and left a phone message saying I had to call them back or they would cancel the appointment. On the appointed day, the rep arrived promptly, measured the windows to be replaced, and then fast talked me through a lengthy slide show on an IPad that seemed to be designed to show how wonderful they were and how awful all the competitors were. Then he said "would you like to see the window?" I said yes, he went back to the car, and came in with a ceremoniously-unveiled window. No suggestion was made that there was any choice in the type of window. It was: "This is THE window." He said it would be 2500 for three windows. I said I would like to think about it. He said "Why? Do you think about it when you buy a pair of shoes?" to which I said that yes, I did. He said he would extend a discount because it was the end of the month. I said I wanted to think about it. So he packed up everything - including his handwritten bid worksheet - and was about to leave. I asked him for the bid and he said it would be emailed. I asked him for his card, and he said it didn't matter because the office manager would email the bid and, once he left, it would be out of his hands. I have waited more than three weeks and the promised emailed bid has never arrived. If I had gotten the bid probably I would have taken it, based on Angies List reviews of the company, but at this point I do not trust this company at all.

It was excellent. It was one of the best prices I had.

sales person explained process and product, then had online financing available. I was able to qualify for 12 months same as cash during his in house estimate visit. I was contacted 1 1/2 weeks in advance to schedule the replacement. The installers were extremely professional and friendly. They did an excellent job. I was thrilled.

Quality of product was good but the sales person sent to my home was awful - high pressure sales and a very long unpleasant experience. When I wouldn't sign, sales guy seemed upset and explained if I changed my mind it would result in him having to make a second trip to my house. More high pressure sales and finally we are done. The next business day, I get an email from sales manager saying there is a rebate available from the manufacturer and they can take $300 off the price. Ugh. I got a quote from another company with windows rated the same and $1,000 less. I haven't had them installed yet but I would advise others not to immediately sign a contract with this company, wait and see if they offer a discount.

We love our new (over 6 feet tall each) etched glass windows! Our installer, Alex was very thorough and professional. Also, our windows are now lead free. A wonderful experience. Thank you, Alex and Window Nation!

They did a fabulous job. Every detail was perfect. I recommend them highly.

The presentation was fine - very good detail. The "close" was absolutely unprofessional! We have almost 25 windows and the first quote was $30k, but then it went to $20k with the special buy 2, get 1 free, but then it went to roughly $16k on a one time deal "today only", finally, if the salesman cut his commission in half, he could get it down to $16,000. Then to top it off, he became somewhat meloncholy and said his sales manager would call as a follow up, but that he would not get any commission. I told him in the beginning that this was my first company to look at and I knew for certain I would not be buying today. I called customer support later the next day and they said it was so, if the salesman did not close on the first appt., they get no commission - talk about creating high pressure sales.. So I completely blame this on the ownership and not the salesman. WORSE OF ALL- He showed an Angies List screen on his tablet with ALL A's, but when I went to Angies List there was a B on pricing (which is better than deserved). I told my nephew who is getting windows put in never to consider this company. I am sorry to gave to give this review, but it was earned.

I could not have hired a better company (Window Nation) to buy and install my windows! The installers were great. They were on time and very perfessional. They worked hard from 9am until after 6pm with the hottest day of the year. The installers never took a break. They were great!! I would refer this company and installers to anyone. I give them an AA+.

The work was scheduled to be done on 6/25/14 and 2 installers from Soft light, Jeremy and Cory, came on time to do the install. They introduced themselves and were very polite. They worked all day until the job was done. I observed them as they worked and they were very well qualified to do the job. My home is over 100 years old and some windows were originals, making this job more difficult. These two installers worked well together and made the job look easy. When they left they had cleaned up all the debris.

I called Window Nation and scheduled an in home appointment for 5/12 to discuss replacement windows. Unfortunately, a rain storm caused flooding in our home, so I had to re-schedule the appointment for 5/21. Our salesman, Jim Loder, arrived as scheduled and described the Imperial windows, which are made in Ohio, and showed us it's construction. Jim was a very delightful person, professional, and very easy to speak with. He knew his product very well and offered to show us windows that would fit our budget. We liked the window we were shown and decided to order our windows from Jim. Jim then went over the next steps, which occurred just as he explained. A technician came out the following week to measure for our new windows and we were told we could expect installation in approximately 4 weeks. We were then called a couple of weeks later with an installation date of 6/12. I called the company a few days prior to 6/12 to confirm this was the installation date and was advised yes, it was. I was also informed that the installer would be there between 8 am and 10 am. Bill arrived at 8:30 am and informed me that his partner, Stan, would be there in about 1/2 an hour. Bill immediately went to work laying down drop cloths in all the rooms and then began removing the old windows. When Stan hadn't show within the 1/2 hour, Bill informed me that Stan had to stop at Home Depot to get some material that was needed for the re-construction/new installation of our master bedroom window. Both installers, Bill and Stan, were very pleasant and professional. They worked diligently removing and installing our replacement windows. When I had a question about the windows, they would take the time to answer. They finished the installation by 4:30 pm the same day. Jim, our salesman, called me later that day and left a message for me to call him should I have any questions or concerns. Jim also stopped by the house the next day, however we were not home and missed him. All employees that I dealt with at Window Nation were friendly, pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. Their customer service is exceptional as well. I would definitely recommend Window Nation to anyone looking for new or replacement windows. This was a very pleasant and worthwhile investment.

First, I called Window Nation and they sent a sales person to my home to explain the product and cost. The explanation was very thorough and professional. They installed my windows a few weeks after and I was extremely pleased with the whole experience. They were prompt, neat and polite. The past winter was so cold and snowy and I did not have any air coming in through the windows as with my old windows. The windows also block out many outdoor sounds, which makes my home much quieter. .I paid for half of the windows immediately and financed the other half. It was painless! The interest rate was 0% if paid off in one year, which I did. I would recommend Window Nation to anyone thinking of investing in new windows for their home.
