They are not to be trusted. They gave us a quote that they were going to put in two inches of black top and only put in one. They did not respond at all to any questions or concerns that I had.

We were out of town when Protect-a-Cote did the work. We timed this job so that we would not have to make special arrangements for parking our cars at night (In our neighborhood, one is not allowed to park on the streets overnight).

Although I got a call back that they would come to give me an estimate by week's end, they never showed up.

I wasn't real happy with them. They didn't do the job I wanted so I called them back. It took two or three phone calls for them to call me back. I got a return phone call from them and they said they didn't fill impressions like I thought they did. They are going to come back and discuss it. I wasn't real happy. This is the first time I have any complaints.

Protect-A-Cote came to my home and replaced a portion of my driveway and then sealcoated the entire driveway. It looked like new. This is a great company that is very professional.

I already had an asphalt driveway that I didn't do anything with in the 15 years I have lived here. They came out and repaired the lower half by replacing it with new asphalt. I had deep grooves in the driveway and some big holes; you couldn't even tell after the new asphalt was down and smoothed out. There wasn't hardly any mess afterwords. I was really impressed. They stayed in constant communication with me with scheduling of the seal coating. They came out about a week later and seal coated the entire driveway. They picked up any viney plants I had and did a very neat job. There was hardly any splatter at all! I do have to mention, even though I had an asphalt driveway all these years, I didn't exactly know what and when you could perform these repairs. I had contacted Protect-a-Cote early last October and they were to come out for an estimate. I didn't hear back from them so I called them and they said that it was too late in the year to do the seal coating. I did express my disappointment to them. I would of appreciated that knowledge of a cut-off date for seal coating. They did however contact me early spring and the rest is history!

They seemed to do a careful, efficient job. The guys were nice. They were good about trimming vegetation along the edge of driveway so they could get right to the edge. They were easy to work with. I have no complaints.

Terrific! Fred Wyman could not have been more professional. He gave me a detailed, typed estimate, showed up on time, and had a hard working crew that finished the job in a day. The driveway looks gorgeous. I recommended him to two of my neighbors the same day of the service!

EXCELLENT! Mr. Wyman was there to supervise himself, and ran their paving machine himself. The workers were courteous and hard working. The driveway looks great and the entire house was improved by it's presence. The drain was well done and helps my yard (which is a bit of a bathtub) to be a lot drier. Well worth the expense. When a little asphalt settled around the drain later on, they came out and put in new asphalt and tamped it down. I'm very happy with this company! HIGHLY recommended!

They were very timely, did everything they said they would do when they said they would do it. They kept me informed as far as when we could use the driveway again. They worked very hard to get the job done efficiently. The owner, Fred, and his son and their crew were very attentive to our needs and turned out great work.

Promised to come look and give me a quote, but never showed up. No return call after my next phone call.

Good price, started and finished on or near scheduled dates. Asphalt did not slope toward drain, however, at one spot. It took them a couple months to come out to do the repair. The repair, once finished, was effective. Always returned calls promptly.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, WERE VERY PLEASANT. THEY EXPLAINED TO ME THAT LAST YEARS JOB (DONE BY A DIFFERENT COMPANY) SHOULD HAVE LASTED LONGER. THEN THEY DID THEIR WORK, NEATLY, QUICKLY AND WELL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

INITIAL CONTACT WAS PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. PRICE WAS GOOD, SO I DECIDED TO GET WORK DONE. PERSONNEL WHO SHOWED UP WERE NEITHER PROFESSIONAL NOR VERY PLEASANT. THEY DID THE JOB WITH THE MINIMUM OF PREPARATION, EG: DID NOT SWEEP THE DRIVEWAY OR CLEAR EDGES. CRACKS REAPPEARED WITHIN WEEKS AND THE ASPHALT STARTED TO LIFT BEFORE THE FIRST FROST. GUESS YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

I CANNOT PRAISE THIS COMPANY ENOUGH! FIRST, THEY SENT A TWO-PAGE PROPOSAL, OUTLINING IN DETAIL EXACTLY WHAT THEY WOULD DO AND HOW THEY WOULD DO IT. IT INCLUDED A BROCHURE EXPLAINING THE RE-PAVING PROCESS IN DETAIL. I WATCHED MOST OF THE JOB, AND THEIR PERFORMANCE WAS EXACTLY AS THEY HAD DESCRIBED. THE WORKERS WERE PROFICIENT AND CAREFUL. THE PRICE WAS IN THE MID-RANGE OF THE ESTIMATES THAT I HAD RECEIVED. AFTER THE JOB WAS FINISHED, THEY SENT FOLLOW-UP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CARE FOR THE DRIVEWAY. I AM DELIGHTED WITH THE WAY IT LOOKS.

OVERALL VERY PLEASED WITH SERVICE AND VALUE.

I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THE FOUR PAGE PROPOSAL. EVERYTHING WAS SPELLED OUT ON WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO. THE WORK CAME WITH A GUARANTEE. I ALSO LIKE THAT THEY GAVE SOME HELPFUL TIPS EVEN IF WE DID NOT SELECT THEM. I ALSO RECEIVED A BOOKLET ON HOW TO MAINTAIN THE DRIVEWAY AND WILL BE SENT REMINDER ON WHEN THE DRIVEWAY WILL NEED TO BE RESEALED.
