 + 1 moreThe team that came in were here 4 hours. They worked the entire time. Very nice and professional. My furnace/ AC work better. The smell from the flooding is gone. My dryer vent was so blocked with lint... it could have caught fire. They saved my life from cleaning out the flood water (black mold) and cleaning out dryer vents. Best service I have ever had done. Would highly recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: After the recent flooding here in North Ridgeville Ohio, I discovered water in my floor air vents in my great room. The company came in and cleaned and sanitized all my floor vents, cold air return, checked my furnace and cleaned it. I got a coupon off Angie's List for $89.00 to have my dryer and vent cleaned out of lint. It turns out it was a life saver.

 + -1 moreOverall the service was great. The guys were professional and cleaned up the area (inside and outside) when finished. The improved the psi? rating from around 3 to almost 12 so the service was well worth it. One thing that was a little upsetting was that there was a $20 charge for the use of a ladder outside. We have a first floor laundry room but have a walkout lower level. The rep said it was in the fine print of the Angie's List coupon but I didn't see it. Wish that would have been made clearer up front. I was also able to purchase an aluminum dryer vent that morning (for an add'l $40). I suppose a good reminder to always read the fine print!
Description of Work: They cleaned the dryer vent running from the dryer to the outside of the house, along with the lint filter in the dryer.

 + -1 moreBob phoned to advise that the appointment ahead of me cancelled and if I would be available earlier than my scheduled time. They arrived promptly and had everything completed in short order. The dryer was placed back in position and the men were on their way. I will definitely have this service completed next year as I'm constantly running the dryer. Highly recommend this company.
Description of Work: Bob and Sean cleaned my dryer vent. They started by cleaning the dryer vent unit and then proceeded outside to work through the entire vent into the house. I have not had the vent cleaned for the past 12 years since being in this house. I'm pleased with the work and they were extremely professional. Needless to say a lot was cleared out of the vent and they recommended to have it completed yearly. Well worth the money.

 + 1 moreGene was a consummate professional. We had a communications breakdown and he arrived at the house I will be moving FROM instead of the one I will be moving INTO. I have no doubt that I was not clear when I made the appointment. In any case, he cheerfully changed gears and went to the new house without one complaint. When he arrived he and his partner were extremely polite, efficient, and thorough. He never gave me the indication that I had more than likely inconvenienced him (as I'm sure I did by the communications snafu) and took his time with his inspection and explanation of what he did and what other services he could provide. I would not hesitate at all to recommend him and his company to others, and plan on hiring him for future projects.
Description of Work: The provider thoroughly cleaned the dryer vent ductwork, both interior and exterior, and also cleaned everything inside the dryer itself. He also inspected the air ducts for my HVAC and pointed out a couple of other things that might be of concern in the future.

 + -1 moreMy old dryer now works great; clothes dry quickly. I am extremely pleased with the work provided by Gene and Shawn, and have referred CRI Duct Services to my neighbor. I plan to use their services again, as needed.
Description of Work: I purchased the $89.00 Complete Dryer Vent Cleaning and Safety Inspection. Someone from the company called me within the two day Angie's List requirement. They were friendly during the scheduling process, and called back the day before to confirm the appointment. The day of the appointment Gene and his trainee, Shawn, arrived on time, with friendly greetings. Their work was meticulous. The dryer vent was totally clogged and stuffed with lint, due to a bird's nest lodged in the vent. When all the crammed debris was removed, Gene and Shawn perfectly cleaned up the yard, and my laundry room. Gene is an excellent communicator, and clearly explained the cleaning process, as well as showed me how the incorrect connector on my dryer to the vent was inhibiting free flow of lint from dryer. Gene repositioned my washer and dryer, and replaced the crumpled old connector to the dryer with strong and straight connector.

 + -1 moreOur clothes dryer appeared to be malfunctioning, but when we had it serviced, we were told the problem was being caused by a blocked dryer vent. We just moved into our single-story home about a year ago, and had not realized we had this problem. The dryer vent runs up through the roof, which was covered with snow on the day of our appointment. The CRI Duct technician spent over an hour trying to clear the dryer vent because the snow was blocking the vent and moisture from snow melt had compacted the lint making it almost solid. After great effort, the CRI technician finally succeeded, and the dryer began to function properly. We will definitely hire CRI to clear the dryer vent at our house as well as our rental property.
Description of Work: Unblocked a badly compressed and blocked cloths dryer vent.

Description of Work: CRI Duct Services did what they said they would do. They cleaned all the duct work in our home, cold air intake and registers, and the furnace. In addition they cleaned our dryer, inside and outside vent and put a new pipe on the back of it. CRI was very knowledgeable and professional. We live in a large old home with about 24 registers. Gene and Bob called when they were on their way and arrived on time. They worked steadily for 5 hours. Communication was excellent from the beginning. Their office called about arranging an appointment date that was the best for us. The office called close to the time of the appointment to confirm that the time was still good. Gene went over the price, the deal, and what needed to be done before he started working. They were very careful about protecting our flooring and furniture. We originally signed up for the air duct cleaning and they offered to clean the dryer vent for a very good price. It needed it so we accepted. My husband and I are extremely pleased with the job. I cannot say enough good about them.

 + -1 moreI called for a dryer vent cleaning. When he arrived, it turns out that I needed a new vent. I had the wrong type installed, which was flammable, and there appeared to be a leak. When he removed the dry wall to get to the old vent, it was ripped and spewing lint everywhere, even back up and under the dryer where the FLAME is. There was evidence of charring. He likely saved my life and my family's, and my home! He was really nice and professional, and I thank GOD that I called him when I did. I highly recommend this company.

The technicians arrived on time and worked quickly and professionally to clean our dryer vent. While they were cleaning the dryer vent, they suggested we upgrade our vent hose from paper to metal because the paper ones are considered a fire hazard. We agreed and they installed the new hose immediately. They also cleaned up the area afterwards. Overall, we are very pleased with their service and will definitely contact them again in the future.
