 + -1 moreThey arrived on time and did exactly what I paid for. The cleanup was minimal because most of the equipment is located outside.
Description of Work: Gene, the owner of CRI Duct Services and his assistant Bob arrived around 9:15A.M. Gene introduced himself and stated he would be working on the job site the entire time with Bob. They began unloading equipment and when they finished Gene asked me to show him the location of all the supply registers and the cold air returns. Next, Bob and Gene tested the airflow on my gas dryer. They tested it and it was on the low side. I followed Gene outside and the vents were barely opening. gene explained that the actual reading should be almost double the low reading. Gene asked me if I wanted the dryer vent tubing replaced with a better and safer quality of tubing. I declined. He recommended replacing the duct soon as it could be a fire hazard. Gene showed me the type of duct tubing to buy. I asked how much it would cost for him to install it. The price was fair so I added that to my quoted price as an extra. Gene showed me the reading on the meter after the tubing was installed and the air had nearly doubled. The cleaning went well and both Gene and his tech removed their shoes when entering our living space. Bob removed all of the register covers and gave them a thorough vacuuming. After they were cleaned they ran a rubber whip like thing with about 5 or 6 tentacles into each duct opening. Gene said this would loosen the debris and the power vacuum outside would suck all the little dust and dirt particles outside into a large vacuum bag. The larger stuff would settle to the basement floor for clean up. After they were through with the cleaning process they sprayed the inside of the ducts with a sanitizing agent. The guys were at my house for about 3 hours and worked the entire time. Everything was done quite professionally and Gene answered all of the questions that I asked in a friendly professional manner.

 + 0 moreIt went very well. Gene (the owner) gave me a lot of advice which I took to heart. He advised me on my e-z-breathe system and the correct way to insert filters in my furnace. I was appreciative of him letting me know which was the best dryner vent system to use. I really appreciated the work they did because I had not had my vents cleaned in over 28 years!! I wiil use them every year to clean my dryer vents. !!

Description of Work: The man had to get on our roof because our dryer vent pipe goes up through the roof. We're on a slab and for some reason the builder didn't put the vent on the side wall. He didn't have to pull our the dryer out from the back of the wall, he had a tool that went inside the dryer and sucked up the lint.

 + -1 moreBought the Big Deal for Dryer vent cleaning from CRI services. Took a little while to set up a date for the cleaning, partly my fault. Once they arrived (crew of 3 that were in the area for whole house vent cleaning) the cleaning took about 1/2 hour. The crew always removed their shoes when coming in and out and returned everything to the way it was. The vent was well past due for cleaning and it improved the air flow from the dryer by almost twice. Will probably ave the crew come back to clean the AC ducts.

 + -1 moreMy first phone call was answered by Gene Zoladz. He was very courteous, explaining he would call me back as soon as he could. He did call back the same day, and we talked about the job, and we set a date and time. Gene called me that morning to let me know he was on his way. His personal exchange was very polite, professional and competent. He looked at the dryer vent, which needed more than just cleaning. Gene took pictures on his phone of the problems and showed them to me, explaining what they showed and what was wrong with the existing hook-up. He then made his recommendations. He completed the work I selected very efficiently, and he cleaned up afterward. I do recommend CRI Duct Services.

 + 0 moreI was referred to CRI and called for a quote. When I called I spoke with owner Gene he was knowledgeable about the process associated with his services. He helped me understand the entire process and gave me a range for a quote. I called around to other air duct cleaning services and I chose Gene because he took the time to explain the process and helped me understand the best. He may not have been the cheapest but the most knowledgeable. On the day scheduled for services, Gene called 15 minutes prior to their arrival. Before they started, they made sure they covered my hard wood floors and carpeting due to my concern of them getting damaged. They inspected my system, and WOW, I never expected what I saw! All the pet hair and dust that I've been breathing in. No wonder I had allergies and sinus problems!! The quote did not change from the phone quote. No upsell was given. They were very honest in the services I needed. They even pointed out additional concerns that I should look for. When done with the services, they cleaned up like I had my home before the services. Gene and entire crew were professional, polite, and concerned about the services they provided to me. They also did my dryer vent inspection and cleaning. I never knew it was supposed to be done yearly. It's amazing how much better my dryer works!! I will definately call them next year!!

 + -1 moreEverything went great. Gene and his crew were very professional and easy to work with. They did a 2 day job for us because of the size of our home and having 6 furnaces. They used tarps to protect our (new)floors which was very nice. Gene also gave courtesy calls about 10 minutes out from arriving at our home. I would use them again and would recommend them.

 + 0 moreI called CRI for a quote and requested that the service be performed on short notice. I spoke with Gene who was very professional and courteous, he provided me with the quote and explained the process and how long it would take. Gene and Bob arrived on schedule and got right to work. They were both professional and efficient; they took care to not track mud through the house (it was raining). The job took them 3 hours longer than expected due to the condition of the system which had apparently never been serviced. I could not believe the amount of debris that was removed from my ductwork. When all was said and done, Gene did not try to charge me anymore than the original quote. I was compelled to include a tip because of the extra work and top notch service. A+
