Description of Work: A system that Zimmer installed previously on 4/25/07 for approximately $16,985 had features that never performed as they promised and some work was never done. When the compressor failed they came out to a**** the problem and did not run the tests that Carrier required to validate the Warrenty. They quoted a price that was higer than others for this expensive warrenty repair and did not present a professional image. The warrenty repair was done by others who also fixed some of Zimmers previous problems for no added charge.

Unfortunately this customer never claimed to have a problem until the compressor failed. He was given several options due to a manufacturers issue over the outdoor unit. Since 2007, the owner never had maintenance on the system to ensure reliability and manufacturers warranty. Every year the owner was called for annual service and sent a post card reminder. If there were such problems since the system was installed; why complain on Angie's List 8 years later? Zimmer Heating never walks away from a problem. We first need to know there is a problem to take care of it.

Description of Work: My home had no central heating and no duct work to hook my new furnace to. |Zimmer installed all new insulated duct work, a 96 % high efficiency gas |furnace and a new air filtration. |From first bid to finish of the complete system, the work was finished with no mess, and within the time that was promised. |I would heartily recommend Zimmer heating and cooling, and their very professional personnel

Description of Work: Furnamce went out on the weekend, wasn't home. Came home to a 53 degree house! Brrrrr! Called and the gentleman came within 90 minutes. I did have to pay a $140 for the emergency weekend service call. Person came and diagnosises it correctly within about 15 minutes. Courteous & professional, explained the reason why I needed the part.

Description of Work: I am planning to get a new A/C but am trying to get estimates. The problem I have is that I work M-F and am gone from 6:00am to 7:00pm. He returned my call but I have not had a chance to call him back to arrange a time for him to come out. This was my first time to use Angie's list. Getting a call back right away is impressive!
