The man that came out did an excellent job. We plan on using them again in the near future for more plumbing work we need done. We paid a reasonable price for the work. We are very pleased with the professionalism of this company and could not have asked for better service.

Had some difficulty with the flooring contractor, but Mike Tarvin held them accountable, and the problems were corrected. Otherwise, no problems at all and a very nice job, very professional people. Price was at the high end of the quotes, hence the B, but we got a quality job. Mike also helped us identify some places where we were able to reduce the cost, a key factor for us.

They were wonderful! They worked us into their schedule the day we called. They called to let us know when we should expect someone at our home. They arrived on time, and worked quickly. They replaced our sump pump for a very reasonable amount of money, honored the Angie's List coupon, and the amount they charged was right in-line with the pricing quoted on their website. We would HIGHLY recommend!

I was very pleased with the quality of the work and the care taken with the job. The cost came in at the estimate with no surprises. A representative also visited the site prior to the job and reviewed the article specifications to make sure they would be able to install properly. This was reassuring as I had ordered the replacement sink and toilet myself. They did this job within 4 days of my initial call. I was working on a very short time frame with company coming soon.

Jim arrived in timely fashion and I reviewed problems at hand. He started working on bathroom drain clog with mechanical-assist snake to clear my bathroom lines. Did not have success in clearing line as trap was difficult to maneuver around in my house original plumbing ( 70 years old). Decided to have Jim cut old trap out and build in new plumbing to bathroom tub to eliminate slow draining tub and update plumbing as home maintenance. Jim and another plumber came over from Tarvin to run 100' of snake line into my clean-out valve to the street sewer. I have this done once every two years as preventive maintenance to back-ups, clogs, tree-roots, etc. They ran the line effectively and were careful to keep the basement area clean during the process.

I had told them in advance what needed to be done since previous plumber (from another company) came out and said the old faucet could not be fixed. I had to go buy one and then when I called the plumber to come install it, he was swamped due to workers out with the flu. I then called Tarvin and they had a guy who came the same day. He was courteous, clean, and professional. He told me approximately how long it would take and roughly the cost. He was right on target. And I received the $25 Angie's List discount.

I had water in my basement from a clogged drain line. Michelle set me up with an appointment the same morning I called, and she then called me 1/2 hour before their planned arrival. Ellis arrived on time, discussed the problem with me, and went to work. It was a difficult clog to clear, and he worked hard to take care of it. He ended up being able to clear it after several times through with the cables.

Called them after noticing water heater was leaking from bottom. They quoted me several options right over the phone. I chose an option and set up an appointment the next day. They showed up at my house right on time. They laid down tarps so they wouldn't dirty my carpets and worked very quickly to remove the old water heater and install a new one. I am very happy with their quick response and quality of work!

Very good. Michelle took the call and advised me that they could not get to me until the next day. She told me that they would call and give me a thirty minute window so that I could leave work and meet their rep at the house. The next day I received a call asking if I could meet them in 35 minutes. This was VERY convenient for me to work with and not have to miss work. Their rep Jim was there within 40 minutes, promptly did the work, inspected other toilets for possible problems. Would highly recommend.

We call Tarvin for all plumbing needs. They try to get to us ASAP and they usually come the same or next day.

I called to schedule a time for someone to come install a new garbage disposal. It just happened that there was an opening on that day and they scheduled me immediately. Phil was very quiet. He did his work with a minimum of chit chat. It seemed to take much longer than I had expected but the quality of the work done and the resulting reconfiguration of the under sink traps was an excellent result. Oh, and I have the new disposal.

They were great and they did a really good job.

One thing I really did not like was that they charged by the hour and included the driving time to my house. The gentleman who did the work did a good job. They were only here an hour and a half and charged me for 2 and a half.

Explained how he replaced the bolts on the toilet, & showed me how to check the flush mechanism if there were any more leaks. (There were no more leaks.) He didn't have the replacement part for the faucet, but after I tried unsuccessfully to get through to someone @ Moen, he called & got through right away & ordered the part for me. I received the part in about 10 days, & installed it myself. I really appreciated the plumber going out of his way & ordering the part for me.

They have reasonable prices and do top notch quality work.

I called the top 5 companies on Angie's List. Tarvin was the lowest priced and most flexible. When I set up the appointment, they were very nice, friendly even. They worked with me on the time, and stuck to their commitment. Ellis Pendergrass was the technician. He was friendly from start to finish. He was very patient with my yapping and asking questions. And, he worked consistently. That is, he didn't slack off and milk it. He did a great, thorough job without wasting time. Then, he cleaned up well and quickly. He didn't try to sell me on things I didn't need, but was responsive when something I said seemed to indicate I wanted more work done. When I clarified that I didn't want to pursue that work at this time, he didn't push. I will absolutely, definitely use these folks again if I ever have the need.

We just moved in to a "fixer-upper". Our bathroom sink would not drain so we called Tarvin to make an appointment. They were able to fit us in within a few days. We decided to replace the sink so we purchased a new pedestal sink and faucet. Both Dave and Ellis were very nice and polite and they worked very quickly. The new sink looks wonderful and the drain works great. They are a little expensive but we are still happy.

A galvanized pipe in our garage was leaking. As we had not moved in yet I turned the water off until they could come fix it so I didn't have to pay extra for emergency service. They called three days later (on Saturday!) to come fix it. He did a good job and was very clean and neat. He even secured the pipe to the wall so it wouldn't move around too much. We have used them before and have always had a good experience.

Plumber did a great job. He located problem right away. He did a great job cleaning up the work area.

Excellent. Very professional and friendly. Expert work. Would definitely use again!
