They were really great. They were very clean and did top of the line work. They were always here when they said they would be. Mike, the owner, would always return my calls in the same day. They have a very wide selection of tile to choose from.

The person that came over was very professional and courteous to my mom. He laid out his work station on the floor and was very neat and clean. We were also having the dining room painted at the time by PJ's painting and the owner (Patty) was here and also observed him and she in turn was impressed by his punctuality and professionalism. We have had no further problems with the sinks.

They explained just what they were going to do. They were professional, punctual and i thought reliable. I do not have any complaints. I think they did a good job.

They were excellent. I called them right at 8:00am and they called me back in a half hour on a Saturday morning. They had the pipe repaired by 12:30pm and they also cleaned up all of the water that was in the basement, so I was very happy with them. They were reliable, professional and I highly recommend them.

Their customer service was really good. They passed me off onto someone to set up the appointment and they were very friendly. The plummer was great and on time he even called before he got there to let me know he was on his way. He even offered to put on the boots so he would not dirty up our carpet. He was there a couple of hours. HE was professional, friendly, courteous.

I had a very good experience although I ultimately ended up choosing a different contractor due to price. Tarvin was very easy to work with and generated lots of good ideas. Their bid was fairly priced, but probably better suited for someone less comfortable with managing aspects of a construction project. I was more interested in sourcing my own materials and subbing out the labor for the job.

I called on Monday at about 11:30 am, and they had someone here (it was not an emergency) within 24 hours, calling beforehand with about 30 minutes notice. Phil arrived at the time promised, located the source of the leak, and fixed the problem within an hour. He was polite, professional, and efficient. We then requested that he give us an assessment and estimate on another plumbing problem, which he gladly did at no charge. He explained the other problem clearly, and there was absolutely no pressure at all to contract them for this additional service. The total bill of $69 (after the Angie's List coupon) for fixing the kitchen sink was an excellent deal. I would gladly use them again, and will probably contract with them for the other job soon.

We eventually had someone else give us an estimate for additional work that looked like it might more completely solve our leaky basement problem (Tarvin based work on our request which was based on advice from Soil and Water Conservation District). We decided to attempt that. However, we would have had no problem working with Tarvin if we thought the original plan was more likely to work.

This was great. They were able to come out the same day I called and they were fast! The shower and kitchen sink haven't leaked since.

They came on the time arranged to unclog the sewer drain in my basement and repair my sink that I had already started to fix. They repaired it by putting in some new parts.

I thought they were pretty expensive. I would use them on serious matters, but for simple jobs I'd probably just go with a handyman. they are very professional. they were timely and explained their work well. They kept their appointment and did exactly what they said they would. They were great to work with.

Service was excellent. Tarvin plumbing was on time; brought only necessary crew for the job, high level of expertise (i.e., real plumbers not just technicians), and did a thorough job (including clean-up!). Would definitely recommend. When the power vent fan did not function the next day (due to manufacturer issue), Tarvin had crew out to house on Saturday and Sunday to fix at no cost.

The whole project took about two weeks, and everything happened exactly as scheduled from start to finish. Mike Tarvin was really helpful and willing to work around unusual space limitations creatively. All of the workmen were courteous and professional. Altogether a great experience and beautiful results!

I call Tarvin for whatever plumbing issues that may arise. They are a great company. I would recommend them to anyone.

Quote for the work to replace the corroded pipe was $100-$125 higher than two other plumbing companies. This is the second time they've been high on a price quote for me.

This was at a apartment building I own. Jim, the plumber who cleaned the drain, met the tenant to have the drain cleaned. After the drain was cleaned, he called me letting me know what was done. Because I was an Angie's List member, I got a $25 discount off the bill. Total price was $88 (hourly rate) + $15 (parts) - $25 (Angie's List discount) = $78. $88/hour is a reasonable hourly rate for a plumber. I would use them again.
