Everything went according to plan. Installers did a very good job and cleaned up nicely afterwards. The new kitchen floor turned out beautiful... we are very satisfied.

As far as the backsplash it was done on time and looks great. As for the hardwoods..... They look great but not done on time. Absolutely horrid customer service from Lyle on down. Do not have them refinish your hardwood floors. We went with them because of a friend (that was a mistake). We were told by our original salesperson that it could be done in a couple of days -wrong! First time they came out the crew was a day late, no on called us to inform us. Then found out that it couldn't be done in a couple of days. We had already arraigned time of work that was wasted. So we try again this past week. Things started off well, began on Thursday and we were told we'd be back in the house Sunday. Perfect, just in time for the start of school for my Autistic son the next day. Well.... apparently the stain didn't dry because it was too humid in a house with ac set on 74 and blower fan on 24/7. Yeah I call BS on that. Didn't bother to call us about it either. I called floor guy on Sunday to make sure we could get in the house as previously arraigned and was told then that no, it would be Tuesday since they couldn't put down the sealer coats as planned. Someone should have had himself out at the house on Sunday for coat two. Apparently working weekends only goes for Saturday. Lyle has a bad habit of not returning calls. So stay away from Schoch and their sub contractor JMG Custom Hardwood as neither do what they say or can be bothered to keep you updated if something goes wrong. 😡

Everything was on time and the procedure was quickly performed in a customer friendly manner.

It looks great! It took them all day to do the work. They cleaned everything up - they didn't leave any debris. My husband dealt with them most of the time.

We had carpet installed on the stairs hallway and three bedrooms on the second floor of our new house. I visited the Harrison location to look at their carpet samples and the person in the show room was very nice and helpful. After we chose which carpet we wanted they came to our house to measure fairly quickly and gave us what we thought was a good price. We had explained to them that we were in sort of a hurry because we wanted to move into the house but one of the carpet in first. They were very good about keeping us updated on the status of the carpet order and when installation would happen and we are very happy with the timeline. They also did a great job of cleaning up after the installation including vacuuming the floors. They made a follow-up call to us to make sure we were happy with installation and everything went smoothly. The carpet looks great and we're very happy that we chose Schoch.

Dan was so careful, hardworking, and pleasant we have a perfect floor again thanks to his expertise. We would certainly employ this company again. Last year they installed carpeting in my daughter's home and did a beautiful job. She and her husband could say enough good things about their professionalism, cooperation, work ethics and the carpeting and pad are like new to this day. As this was my housewarming gift - I am thrilled and that is the reason I contacted them for our tile problem (we have no idea who installed the tile in 2001).

We had a good experience with them. They are awesome. Except for the slow work, they provide excellent quality results and offer their best efforts.

As I said in a previous questionnaire, they performed every task with quality. I would use them again. They were very curteous. the carpet is high quality. the price was good.

It did not go well at all. I gave the floor plans to the company and instructions that I wanted the floor to match the color of the other room next to it. They were aware it was an insurance issue, and school was to start so scheduling was an issue. We went to the store to talk in person to know what to do to prepare the house. We asked about the large furniture which he said they would help us remove. At this time we had a child with a serious health issue, almost daily pain and frequent trips to the doctor. We moved everything out but a few items that were just too large. We did not worry, knowing they said they would help move the large items. 8:30am on Monday morning we had lodging booked, my husband took a week off so this could be done. The man arrived to do the work, but once he saw the items still there started leave! He had no idea the office said anything about him helping us with the big stuff. We were never told to empty the fridge and have it and the stove OUT of the house! With our children already in the van we wer rushing around the house doing this, and I ended up tearing my left rotator cuff moving the fridge. A few hours later we finally leave, exhausted, after showing him all the warped and stained boards. We left our cell numbers and how to reach us and our adult son incase of quesitons. When we returned Saturday we found the house unlocked and all the lights on. We went in to find that there was a lighter stripe alone each room that did not match. Then, none of the stained and warped boards were addressed. The color was a bit darker, and they put satin finish NOT the glossy finish like the room it was right next to. It looked bad. So we spent a week paying for a hotel, used a week of vacation time and the job was not done right. We contacted the company, and it took a while to get it sorted out. We were pushed to accept the floor like it was. The insurance company was not cooperating, they tried to only repair by the washer eventhough the entire floor was all the same. So we had to pay for the extra to be done for all of it to be done so it would match, but now it still did not match! Then when asking about the details, the man we showed each area that needed to be repaired or replaced never did talk to his boss. So many steps of lack of communication. The man who was doing the job should have told his boss right up front that the warped and stained boards were an issue, that we expected them to be repaired so if it was NOT on his paperwork, why did he not say anything then to his boss who had our contact information? Why did they not match the finish of the other floor? How could they not see the strip of lighter stain in each room? To have this redone we had to renegotiate everything. We had to pay again for a week at a hotel! We had to take time off of work to be with the children who were now going to school. Then, they did not just come right back out and make it right. they made us wait for weeks! We could not move our things back in, living on porch furniture, with no fridge or stove. It made no sense to bring it all back in, we thought they would just do it over. It did not matter we had kids going to school without all our things, and an ill child. Touring him back through the house I pointed out things I wanted done, but he would tell me why I did not need it done. So they redid the finish, not replacing the boards, but it did not make the lighter strip go away. So, we had to schedule a THIRD attempt! This time the job was finally done. But another expense of hotel and lost pay. Living in a hotel, driving the children to school each morning from the hotel, then feeding the children by borrowing a friend's kitchen, not wanting to do fast food all the time. This was difficult to say the least. We also had to board our three dogs, and pay someone to come feed our cat who we shut outside to stay in the back. In the end I would use a company who only does floor refinishing so you could know upfront what to expect, what other services you might need to get, and maybe even a cleaning service afterwards. Now I am going to PT for my left shoulder, I still have not been able to put everything back, I've still not carried everything in from the garage, or dusted all let alone had the time to get the carpets cleaned with our daughter so ill and her health being unpredictable. I liked the company but this lack of communication has cost us dearly.

We needed carpet for a spare bedroom we were turning into an office. We wanted it to be durable since it has to handle the regular use of a power wheelchair. Neal helped us from beginning to end, he is a very nice young man who knows his carpet and gave us good advice on style, color and brand of carpet. We did our research ahead of time online, we went to four other stores to compare quality and price, Schoch was competitive in all aspects. One of the main reasons we choose them is because we like to shop local and support small businesses. We are very pleased with our carpet, it is a high density textured Gulistan Stainmaster( Avon Park). It is beautiful and soft to the the touch yet has a great wear, stain and crush warranty. The installation went smoothly and quickly, my husband had already emptied the room of furniture and removed the old carpet so the installers were done in less than an hour! I recommend Schoch Carpet and Tile to anyone, they have a large selection of carpet and are courteous, competent and trustworthy. Small businesses enhance our communities and I strongly recommend shopping local whenever possible.

I originally wanted Pergo, but the saleswoman suggested I not do that, since it is wet in a bathroom. I'm glad she nicely steered me correctly. Pat was very helpful with choosing appropriate samples. She sent a gentleman to my house to double check my need and make sure the installation would be okay. The linoleum was beautiful and extremely well made. They had to replace a sub-floor, and put in a very nice underlay on top of that. As for service, I have nothing but great things to say. First, they ordered and installed within five days. They said they would be at my house by 8:00 AM--they were there at 7:50. The man installing was nice, professional, and clean. The installation was faultless. I suggest using this company. You get personal service, and genuine care for your needs. The service is FABULOUS. They only use quality materials. I am glad I went with a family owned business with someone who said "thank you".

Did an excellent job, was on time, clean and polite. Cleaned up most of the mess and performed in a timely fashion. I would gladly recommend them highly.

I AM VERY HAPPY ABOUT THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM SCHOCH TILE. I WAS IN A HURRY TO ORDER THE TILE SINCE I WANTED TO GET IT DONE BEFORE I RETURNED TO SCHOOL. THEY CALLED ME IMMEDIATELY WHEN THE TILE CAME AND MEASURED AS SOON AS THEY COULD. THE DURABILITY OF THE WOOD LAMINATE HAS BEEN EXCELLENT AND HOLDS UP TO DOGS AND CHILDREN.

DAN APPEARS TO BE IN THE OFFICE FROM 8-9 AM, AND ON APPOINTMENTS THE REST OF THE DAY. DAN WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE THE APPOINTMENT THE NEXT WEEK. HE WAS ON TIME AND PERFORMED THE WORK QUICKLY. WE ARE GETTING READY TO SELL OUR HOUSE AND YOU CAN'T TELL WHERE THE CARPET PATCHES ARE. HE STRETCHED THE CARPET IN 4 ROOMS WITHOUT US HAVING TO MOVE FURNITURE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
