Service and work quality was excellent. My call was answered immediately and I was able to schedule service within a few days and at a time convenient for me. The electrician Mike arrived early, which was ideal timing. He was courteous and professional. He finished the job early and answered my questions. The price was very fair.

The gentlemen who visited my home were very knowledgeable. They immediately put on hospital-style coverings over their shoes, a detail I appreciated. Free of charge, they unwired a light switch which had no practical purpose in my home. They provided me with more detailed information about my electrical system than the home inspector I had hired pre-home purchase. They also provided me a quote for an electrical outlet which I would like to have installed in my kitchen. Once I get a few other things ironed out around my home, I will definitely be calling Rylix to install the outlet and for any other electrical needs which may arise. Thank you!

Everything went well and we no longer have to worry about a fire. Next time we need some electrical work done, they will be called.

After contacting Rylix, Gary was able to give me an estimate over the phone on the work I wanted done.(Upgrading a 30amp breaker to a 40amp for a new kitchen cooktop) After obtaining another estimate from another company, I chose to go with Rylix. Not only were they comparable in price, they were willing to come out within a reasonable time period, and sincerely seemed to want the job. (Another company I called acted as if they were too busy to even return my call!) I scheduled with Gary, and he and Mike arrived promptly on the date/time scheduled. He introduced himself, gave me his card, and checked out the work I wanted done. He told me it would take about 2 hours. (Actually took a little less time!) As he worked, he kept me "in the know" about what he was doing. Gary and Mike both were extremely personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. They worked quickly, efficiently, and neatly. I could not have been more happy with the service I received. We will definitely call them again for any future electrical jobs we may have. It is so nice to have someone like Rylix come into your home. It was obvious to me that they cared about customer service. I would highly recommend them!

The two electricians were very respectful and professional. They were punctual, cleaned up well, and answered all my questions.

Very polite and knowledgeable. Offered suggestions to any concerns we had regarding certain outlets and circuits. As for the quotes, Gary broke them up so that we could do it as needed. Prices seem reasonable. We just need to prioritize what we want done now.

They showed up on time, and were able to come the day I called. There was a cancellation. I had just had a new gas stove installed and it needed a new outlet. They came and installed a new outlet and removed the old outlet that would interfere with new cabinets I am having installed. They also went over with me some other work I will need done for my kitchen remodel. They were professional and informative.

They arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. They encountered a few snags in the job. The biggest one was that they had to run wiring through the attic over my garage. Unknown to me, the space between the garage ceiling and the roof was only a couple of feet, so the electrician had to crawl, literally, around up there to get the job done. This must have been a very frustrating experience, but he never complained. They installed a hard-wired heating unit for me, added two electrical sockets and purchased and installed track lighting in my garage for use in my art studio, which takes up one half of the garage. I was so pleased with their work and their work ethic that I have now hired them for more work in another part of the house. Rylix rocks! Do not hesitate to call them for your electrical needs. I found the invoice to be quite fair...particularly considering their inconveniences, for which they did not charge me extra.

Gary and Mike arrived promptly after calling to let me know they were on their way. They looked at our porch light fixture, which my husband had diagnosed as loose. It turned out the bulb had broken off in the socket, and they quickly pried it out with pliers. While they were here, they also replaced two outlets which were too loose to hold a plug. In addition, I mentioned a two-switch light that only operated if one switch was in the off position. Gary remedied that at no extra charge, even throwing in a new switch. I remembered a light fixture that my husband had said wasn't working (only one of four bulbs lit). Gary looked at it--after he had already given me a total for the work--and determined that it was unsafe (burnt wires). He replaced it with a temporary fixture from his truck at no additional charge. I am not representing Rylix as a company that will necessarily throw in and quot;extras,and quot; but I was so grateful for their priority for our safety, and willingness to talk me through our home's issues. These gentlemen were so friendly. As a woman home alone, it made me feel safer that they travel as a team. I could not be happier with their work, and I will definitely call them again the next time I need an electrician. For your information, the cost included 1) service call charge, 2) hourly rate (1 hour), and 3) equipment (2 new outlets).

Didn't have service done, because I found out a family member does it and had them do it for cost. They gave a great price though compared to other quotes I received. They were very professional and replied to my phone inquiries very quickly.

Rylix sent two servicemen. They were punctual. They diagnosed the problem as a device inside the fan that was supposed to save energy. They said that these devices frequently go bad and the lights fail to work or in my case just emit a dim, pulsing light. Once they removed the defective device the lights worked perfectly. The whole procedure took less than ten minutes. I had a similar problem about a year ago with a different ceiling fan. That serviceman came alone and would have really struggled to make the repair without my help. He, too, found a device inside the fan but did not know what it was and had to call his supervisor. His supervisor was also unfamiliar with the device. The serviceman rewired the fan to bypass the device. My point is that the Rylix techs had come across this problem before and had researched it on the internet. They recognized the problem right away and simply removed the device without having to rewire the fan. The $100.00 was my co-payment through HMS Home Warranty.
