The plumber arrived on time and worked quickly. He was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions.

When i set up appointment (not an emergency) I was told the approximate price. Plumber was punctual and immediately started work at a fast pace, not stopping until repairs were complete.

Came to assess the needed work and failed to follow up with cost estimate. I called to inquire 2 weeks later and was told he is still working on it. I never got a call.

The technician was on time, courteous, friendly and helpful. Work was well done and no clean up needed afterward. This is the third time that Jim has done work for us and his company is very good to deal with. I'd definitely recommend him.

Excellent experience! I called at 8:15 AM and the technician was here by 9:15 AM. Scheduling was so easy and Judy was so helpful and polite. Eric was professional, polite and extremely efficient. He went out of his way to give us helpful hints to prevent the issue from reoccurring. I will definitely use them again if anything else comes up.

The contractors were very friendly and always on time. Communication from the main office was excellent. They were up front about price and were committed to doing a quality job. They showed us where shoddy work had been done previously, and allowed us to inspect the repair they had done before closing the hole back up. The workmen were very clean and respectful. My only minor complaint is that they washed out the concrete buckets near our fence and driveway, leaving concrete residue partially staining our fence and driveway. However, when my wife called and complained, they came out and scrubbed it away. Overall, a really professional outfit and I would definitely hire them again.

Excellent service, prompt, punctual, professional, friendly, clean. They explained all parts of process, were timely with repair, estimate was well below competitors. Nice family owned company, delivered on all promises and even provided some extra service gratis. Did not try to "upsell" or pressure me into repairs that were not needed. I would most definitely recommend this company to other requiring repairs. I can not emphasize how major a repair this was. They had to dig out an entire section of main drain from the front of the house approx 15' deep, replace pipe, add in a new access point to be able to quickly access from outside the house in case any new problems arise. They then checked the entire length of remaining pipe for any signs of damage.

Since our basement floor drain was stopped up on a Saturday afternoon, we made an after-hours service call to several providers. After initially scheduling with another who said it would be 4 hours, Jim Eckoff plumbing called back (about 30 min return call time) and said they could make it out right away. Eric quoted a time he would arrive and he was exactly on time. This was impressive since he was coming from the other side of town. Eric was professional and helpful, answering all of my questions about the work he would perform and quoting us a price. He cleaned out the drain, installed a new cleanout plug since the previous one was unusable. The drain clogged up again and he returned with a larger auger tool to clean it out again. There was a slight delay for about two days until he could come the second time. Finally, there was an issue during the second visit with being able to get the larger tool down the stretch of pipe and he recommended a video camera to see what the issue was. We got a quote from Jim Eckoff, but they wanted more than $530 for the video, and it only included diagnosis of the issue, no repair time. We ended up having Tischbein do the video work and will write a review later. Price for work performed was reasonable, but price for video was high, so the B rating on price.

This was a very difficult job, but Eckhoff Plumbing was great. The service man was unbelievably pleasant and helpful. I would recommend them to others.

Rick arrived on time and quickly located the problem and fixed it. He's very patient with the elderly. Dealing with Jim Eckhoff Plumbing has always been a positive experience. Their workers do excellent work, and they are always courteous. We have recommended them to our friends and family.

The lady that answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. They came out the next morning and the tech was very nice and professional. We felt comfortable having him in our home. We ended up needing a new motor in our sump pump and he even did the repair outside so there wasn't a mess in the basement. This is definitely one of the best companies we have found in Cincinnati so far.

As good an experience as a clogged drain can be. The problem occurred after normal hours. Eckhoff''s answering service was very efficient, and the on-call plumber called me back in less than 5 minutes. He was at my house in about an hour which is good considering the distance he had to travel. The plumber was knowledgeable, professional and efficient. He cleared the drain quickly and was able to diagnose the cause (root intrusion.) He also made useful recommendations to prevent future problems. I have yet to receive the final bill, but the estimate was reasonable, especially considering that this was an after-hours call. Eckhoff's estimate was, in some cases, considerably less than that from other companies. I will use Eckhoff Plumbing again and highly recommend them.
