Thank you for sharing your thoughts here on Angie's List. You did in fact have service shortcomings on your original installation. That was recognized, accepted, and is why a different team was dispatched to your home the following day and corrected those items to your satisfaction. It was also the reason we dispatched our Ops Manager to repair the manufacturer's issue shown in the picture you provided. The manufacturing defect with the light pole you provided was fixed the first time the Ops Manager was sent out to investigate the problem. The fact it survived a severe thunderstorm with 80 mile an hour winds this past weekend is proof that repair was effective. If you have further issues with your light we will be happy to respond and fix them. It would be fair to also display the picture of your repaired light as well. Since the picture you provided is NOT the condition the light is in presently. I appreciate your business and am sorry we let you down on this stop. Thank you for your sharing your thoughts! As you stated when we perform service calls we ascertain the scope of work with the homeowner and proffer pricing prior to repairs being made. As you stated the installation cost of 646.15 was accepted by you before we began work on those projects. As you stated the installation was performed professionally and for the agreed upon price. If our pricing was higher than you expected, we would have left prior to services being rendered, and thanked you for the opportunity to earn your business! Negotiating agreed on pricing after the installation defies good faith efforts by all parties. Services were rendered professionally, and in good faith as described, and charged as expected. in 2019 we changed to a flat rate pricing model to make things easier for both the techs in the field and the consumer to understand the full scope of pricing up front. This avoids the "tech took 15 minutes on the phone, and 5 mins in the bathroom and charged me" potential drama. The cost is firm. There is an "Angie's List Member Discounted Service Call Pricing (- $20.00 off of $99.00 Standard Service Charge)". $79.00 We then itemize special materials for WARRANTY tracking purposes in the lines that follow and they are quantified, in most cases, as 0. We then list a scope of work line item that has the scope of work listed and that line contains the TOTAL cost of materials and labor. Pre-estimated work may not follow this exact format. You were not charged more than the agreed upon price. We do not refund money on charges that were agreed upon, unless there were extraneous service shortcomings. That was not the case here by your own statements. Please reach out and let me know who agreed to a refund as no one here recalls making that promise. We err on the side of our valued homeowners when we come up short. This doesn't seem to be one of those times. We thank you for your business and wish you all the best!Service Provider Response

Good Afternoon, Thermostat installations and replacements are not a service our Company offers. We perform electrical installations. Thermostats are HVAC components and our liability coverage does not cover HVAC equipment or components. My apologies if that wasn’t communicated to you. We perform any size electrical service! Good Morning and thank you for your review. Our Operations Manager Will Miles responded to your home on 6/28/2109 to look at your project reference moving switches on two walls. He overlooked generating an estimate for your work and for that I want to apologize to you personally. Our primary goal is customer service and overlooking an estimate is obviously not living up to that objective. I could not find a second call for service to your home that wasn’t completed as you mentioned. If that in fact was scheduled and we missed it I apologize for that as well. We have a three step method, including call confirmation the day before an appointment, so I am not sure how a second call for service to your home was not scheduled in our system. Thank you for leaving your thoughts on the experience you had with my Company. I want to let you know I take any service short fall seriously and looked into this over the last two days to see where we made a mistake and what we can do to improve our service. My understanding is we had a call for service for your residence on 07/26/2019. Ash arrived at 2:00 PM. At that time your wife gave him a list of repairs that we estimated would take close to eight hours to complete. Since it was late in the day Ash could not perform the entire list so he took care of the disposal switch that was not working, which you were billed for. Ash looked at the remaining projects and discussed generating an estimate to make sure everyone was aware of the additional cost up front. We generated that estimate and emailed it to you at 3:40 PM that afternoon with instructions to call us, or respond via an email, to schedule a full day to return and complete your list. According to our phone and email records this was the only contact we have had with your family I could find, so I am not sure when the second time you referenced in your review occurred. I apologize this appointment wasn't made for first thing in the morning. I have followed up with our Service Manager and the dispatch team to hopefully insure this sort of customer service error doesn't occur again. I understand your time is valuable and it's difficult to juggle schedules around to fit a service call in on top of everything else going on in a typical day. Based on your original request for service our dispatch team should have slotted this for first stop in the morning to make sure Ash had time to take care of your list. I want to apologize to you that this occurred. If you have any questions or further thoughts please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly via phone or email.
