Description of Work: We purchased a repair plan on Angie's list, when the repairman got to our home, he said that we already have what was on the plan, so he serviced the garage door for a lower cost.

Description of Work: The gentleman arrived on time, reviewed the issues, checked with me before he did anything. He made maintenance suggestions that were included in the package but that I had no idea about. He performed the work and cleaned up before he left. It was painless and the door is still working wonderfully!

Description of Work: There was a manual lock on the garage door and my wife accidentally hit the button. And in the end the door went up but all the rollers are out in one side and the cable on the other side came out of the pulley. I called cincinnati door and Greg came on time and he fixed the problem in 30 mins. They gave $10 off for angies list member. I just paid $89 dollors with that he also inspected everything and lubricated all parts. I called other companies and explained my situation but they told it will be a big fix. But in the end with cincinnati doors it went very easy.

Description of Work: Garage door spring needed replacement. They came out very quickly and replaced the spring in under 1/2 an hour. Very professional and efficient.

I am very happy with my garage door. It is very quiet, it never stalls as it did in the past and once it goes down, it stays down. I had been dealing with it going up and down 4 -5 times when I was trying to leave my house.

Since it was probably over 15 years old (was in home when we moved in 13 years ago), we asked for a quote to replace the motor unit. We agreed to have the work done, but the technician said - maybe it is just the infra-red sensors that are bad so he replaced them and the door has operated fine ever since. Thus we only had to pay for new sensors, not a whole new power unit. I forget the amounts involved, but It was a significant savings. The fact that the technician volunteered this option was most impressive to us.

Description of Work: Replaced steel, squeaky rollers with quiet, nylon rollers and performed door lubrication. This servicing took about 30 minutes to accomplish. I have second thoughts about spending $130.00 for a job I could have done myself. But trying to find the time to gather the parts and complete the task, it still wouldn't be finished. The nylon rollers really make a big difference in deadening the squeal of the old metal rollers, this alone makes it worth it in the end.

Description of Work: I signed up for the company's Angie's list special to tune up our old wooden garage door. Scheduling the appointment was a snap, and the appointment was scheduled promptly. The technician was on time and performed all required work on the door. In addition, the technician provided a number of suggestions to prolong the life of the door. As a result, our once jerky garage door now works perfectly, and the suggestions to prolong the life of the door will save additional funds in the future. This company was top-notch from soup to nuts, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Called to get a checkup special($119?) and see if my garage door needed replacing. The garage door had a crack in the middle of the top edge headed down. The man explained that my garage door was not built to withstand the strain of a motor pulling the weight from the middle. The metal door came years before the current opener. He said some sales/repairmen would try to sell me a new door, BUT that all it needed was re-enforcing. He completed the re-enforcement by straightening the bent area around the crack and attaching a metal brace on the inside of the top edge of the garage door. HE SAVED ME $HUNDREDS$. So I listened to his suggestions and got a couple of othe things done...1) had the ?rollers? replaced and 2)some wires added through the springs to protect from injury if a spring broke. It all sounded logical and the door seemed quieter after he was done.He also recommended I KEEP THE CORNERS NEAR THE DOOR CLEAN AND CLEAR OF CLUTTER/TOOLS.And reminded me to CLEAN THE ROLLER TRACKS AND USE WHITE GREASE ON THE OPENER CHAIN 1-2 TIMES A YEAR.No trouble with the door since then. YEA!!!
