+ -1 moreI had arranged with All My Sons to be the first job of the day, which was the 8am to 9am slot on June 30, 2006. Everything is packed, and nobody shows by 9am. I called their office, and they said I had cancelled on Thursday the 29th. That was news to me. I took off from work to get this all done. So because of some error on their end, I have to wait until 3pm to get anyone there. This throws my whole schedule off and delays my plans for getting my Aunt's apartment set up for her to move into. The guys doing the moving were polite and got the work done after they arrived in about 2 hours.
Description of Work: They moved my Aunt's furniture and boxes from a small house in Hamilton to a apartment in Fairfield.

+ -1 moreALTHOUGH THEY ARE QUITE EXPENSIVE, THEY DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB. MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THAT WE WERE NOT INFORMED IN ADVANCE THAT THEY DO NOT MOVE POTTED PLANTS. THE PAGE OF INFORMATION THAT THEY FAXED ME (ONLY UPON MY REQUEST) DID NOT SAY ANYTHING ABOUT NOT MOVING PLANTS. WHEN I PLEADED WITH THEM, THEY AGREED TO MOVE THE PLANTS. HOWEVER, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THIS POLICY WHEN I BOOKED THE MOVERS.

+ -1 moreTHREE GUYS SHOWED UP, ON TIME, MOVED ALL THE FURNITURE (3 ROOMS) AND BOXES, AND DELIVERED THEM TO THE APARTMENT (3 MILES AWAY). THEY HAD THE TRUCK UNLOADED ALL WITHIN A 2 HOUR TIME FRAME. THEY WERE NICE AND EASY GOING. I WILL HIRE THEM AGAIN WHEN MY SON MOVES INTO HIS APARTMENT.

+ -1 moreWE CALLED THEM BECAUSE THEY ADVERTISED SAME-DAY AND SATURDAY SERVICE. THEY CAME WITHIN TWO HOURS OF OUR CALL, AND GOT THE JOB DONE WELL. WE RATED THEM EXPENSIVE, BECAUSE WE HAD HOPED THEY HAD SENIOR RATES FOR MOVING JUST ONE OR TWO PIECES OF FURNITURE, BUT THEY HAD A MINIMUM OF ONE HOUR'S WORK.
Description of Work: WE NEEDED A HEAVY DESK TO BE MOVED UPSTAIRS, BUT SINCE THEY HAVE A MINIMUM OF ONE HOURS WORK, WE HAD THEM MOVE FILE CABINETS, AND SEVERAL OTHER PIECES OF FURNITURE, TOO.
