+ -1 moreVery happy! Tech showed up right on time. He got right to work as I headed out for the afternoon. He was very thorough, spraying under and around all furniture (actually turning all furniture upside down to make sure he got everything). As recommended, we then had our dogs flea dipped that afternoon before allowing them back into the house. Two weeks later they returned to repeat the process and we also bathed the dogs at home ourselves with a flea killing shampoo. The fleas were all gone at this point! So awesome! Both visits the tech was on-time and very professional. No problems whatsoever.
Description of Work: Came on two separate occasions to spray for fleas. The problem was in the basement but they had to spray the whole house in order to warranty the work.

+ -1 moreThey are one of the award winners on Angie's List, so I got them. Since we are on their quarterly plan, we can call if we have any problems in between. I called because we had excessive bugs, and he came within a day and sprayed, although he was not due for a month. He was here early, and I was late. They are not termites for us, or mice problems. They are just bugs for us, but they do all that. We have been using them for about a year, and we haven’t had to ever ask them back out again, aside from this time. They are obviously getting rid of the bugs in the normal timeframe. They always send the same person, and that is kind of nice too.
Description of Work: We use Ace Exterminating Company for pest control. We are on their quarterly plan. He was here today to spray for bugs. He also put down some spider traps.

+ -1 moreI contacted Ace by phone on a Friday evening after hours. They have a live answering service which is nice, they said someone would call me back the next day (Saturday.) They did return my call as promised. I spoke to Darrell the bug man and described an insect I had found in my home. I was able to email him a picture for identification. I later made an appointment for Tuesday afternoon to have my home sprayed for bugs. The technician, Mark Ward, arrived exactly on time! He was very friendly and professional. He efficiently sprayed the house and car. This is a great company I also used them for Termites at my previous home.

They didn’t make me wait for a long time to get a service call. I haven’t used them for anything really big but I think that they are fine. My overall experience with them has been excellent.

+ -1 moreIt has been six months since the last visit, everything is back in place and there have been no sign of the bugs..Originally, I thought the price to be a little high for the work involved by the tech but the end result was no bugs and that is what I wanted. It was worth every penny. I would recommend this company in a minute. The cost of the applications by the company was $768.00. With other items that I had to purchase for protection of the bedding and some cleaning materials the total cost was close to $1300.00.
Description of Work: When I found that I had Bed Bugs I searched Angies list on the internet and picked Ace Exterminating Co. to help me out. I talked with a rep on the phone who explained the service, their price and the things we had to do to prepare the house for their treatment..(there were four treatments) This ment moving all furniture to the center of the affected rooms, removiing everything from the drawers and running the cloth items through the dryer at high temp setting and placing them in plastic bags for storage untill the treatments were finished.. Also removing the dust covers from the box springs and chairs and leaving them up-side -down until treated. This included three bedrooms and a family room.. Prior to the first treatment a rep form the company came and checked the house to be certain the it was ready for the first visit. She told us a lot about the Bed Bugs and what to expect after the treatments. At all four visits the tech was on time and got right to work spraying the interior of the drawers, the mattress and box springs, wall molding, furniture and some wall pictures. At the last visit he left a small amount of the liquid for use if we see any more bugs.

+ -1 moreThey were very thorough and the man they sent to the house was very knowledgeable about mice. He was very patient and looked at my house from top to bottom and gave me advice about where the mice might be coming in and what might be attracting them and things that I can do to basically keep them from coming from the outside. He was of course able to deal with what was already inside but you have to stop them from getting in in the first place but he knew enough about construction and where are my weak spots. I was very pleased and this was my first encounter.

+ -1 moreAs stated above, all went smoothly. At present, I am not troubled by yellow jackets. It was well-worth the cost for peace of mind that I won't have another serious reaction to these stings.
Description of Work: After I was stung by a yellow jacket, I discovered the nest in the ground ivy in my front yard. I am extremely allergic to these insects. Mark, from Ace, came promptly and assessed the situation. He was very friendly and professional. He seemed to be quite concerned about my problem with yellow jackets. He took time to explain what pests are prominent in which seasons. He donned proper protective equiptment, cautioned me stay in the house, and proceeded to treat the nest. He stressed i should call by Friday if I saw any activity around the nest. So far, all is quiet, so the treatment was successful. This is the 3rd time I've had to have these critters exterminated in the past 10 years.
