Not well! Would not hire again.

Pros: 1.) Mark is very responsive to phone calls and deals with issues in a courteous manner if there are issues with the snowplowing service. 2.) The price is very reasonable for a Cleveland winter. 3.) My neighbors commented on how I have the quietest snow plowing service (they have newer trucks) on the block. 4.) Overall snow was removed in a professional and timely manner. Cons: 1.) Didn't plow about 3-4 times when snowfall exceeded agreed to amount (I measure with a ruler each time!). 2.) During the aforementioned 3-4 times, snowfall started around 1-2pm and had accumulated to a plowable amount well before 6:00pm (deadline for evening removal), yet they didn't come until 4-5am the following morning while all of my neighbors had their snow removed the prior evening. 3.) Had one day where my driveway was completely impassable and the driver didn't arrive until about 8:00pm after I made a phone call to Mark. Overall, I was happy and content with the service provided and would recommend Landscaping by Mark to others, but it's hard to give the coveted "A" because the work performed wasn't perfect. We got their name from Angie's List. The guy had a good sales pitch and his prices were moderate. He had his company logo on his shirt and the logo on his truck. He had a crew of people to do extras as needed. He is very prompt about returning calls when we need fertilization or anything else. They are a very responsive company.

We liked how reliable he was, came out multiple times during the day if we had a consistent, steady snowfall. He could improve upon where he put the snow.

I like them but I am not thrilled. My only reservation is that he charges the same as the previous guy who had a somewhat better truck and came a little more often. I didn't like the previous guy because he didn't do the driveway deep enough. Landscaping by Mark does it a little deeper.

I've been very pleased with the snow removal. They don't do sidewalks. It is our responsibility to salt.

I am extremely pleased with them. He was above and beyond my expectations. He was very professional. I have had lots of complements on my landscaping. He actually built a retaining wall for me and two front beds. Be brought in the mulch as well. He did a great job. He was willing to work within my budget as I told him what I wanted to spend. He kept within that budget. The day they were working I went and shopped for trees and got great deals. He told me what the beds needed and I went and purchased them. They were very helpful.

Mark was very professional, returning my calls promptly, and offered excellent advise. He arrived when he said he would and was very pleasant. His crew was very careful and cleaned the area when finished. The trees were much larger and more beautiful than I expected. He carefully explained how to care for them, and asked me to call if any questions or problems. Very nice experience, and I am very pleased.

Mark was very quick to get back to me, very prompt in providing a design and was able to meet our budget and timing demands! His design was excellent, we love the plants/shrubs that he chose and the installation went off without a hitch. We could not be happier with the finished product and are looking forward to enjoying the outdoor living space Mark helped to create!

He's punctual, he was right to the point and willing to work within a budget, which was nice. When I made the call he got back to me immediately. He is going to come out next month to do the work when the weather is not as hot.

He always returns my calls. He renews my contract each year. He offers many options for his contracts. I would give him a B+ if it were available.

Mark came out to consult on the plan for the yard a couple of days after I called. He sent an estimate soon after that I thought was quite reasonable. He was very open about his schedule and forewarned me that it would take a few weeks to have the work done, which I appreciated. They completed the job over two days and cleaned up very well. They were very professional and Mark called a week or so later to followup and make sure that everything went well. Mark has been very responsive to my questions about the care of the trees and I have since hired them to do my lawn, which was also reasonably priced, btw. In all, I'm very happy with the work.

Mark came to see the property and what we wanted accomplished. He spent quite a while talking about possibilities for landscaping and was very knowledgeable about various trees, shrubs, flowering plants, and bushes. He said the work would take 4-8 hours with 2 men and a machine, and if it went faster than he thought, he would also remove a smaller bush on the property. The price quoted to us was $100 an hour for 2 men and a machine. One man came to remove the shrubs the first day and worked for approximately 6 hours. The next day, two came and finished the job as well as taking out the smaller bush. I was pleased with the overall quality of the work and our final bill reflected the fact that the first day there was only one person working, rather than 2.

We bought a house that had been on the market for awhile and the landscaping was looking pretty sad due to neglect. We're not people with green thumbs and really not into gardening. We called them up and Mark came out to assess the situation and provide ideas. They came out two weeks later (lots of rain one of those weeks) and finished everything in roughly 4-6 hours. Afterwards, he called to give some follow-up care advice and to reassure us that if anything wasn't to our liking to let him know. I like that Mark was concerned about what I wanted done and to make sure he was getting the right information to do a good job. Overall, I'm quite satisfied!

Before he started his work on our house our front yard had no grass, and no plants. Considering we won a "community improvement award" from the city of Cleveland Heights for the improvement that took place in our front yard i would say he and his team did an excellent "award winning" job. We are hiring him again in 2010 to add a patio and other landscaping in our backyard. Mark is also great with being able to fill in for my yard mowing or snow plowing when I am not able to get to it myself.

He is wonderful: he is professional and always on time. He works pretty extensively through our neighborhood and everyone I know really loves him. When we?ve compared his price to other services, he?s come in as a very reasonable rate.

He does a really good job. He is very friendly. The workers come in and do the job. They show up when they say they will. Our lawn looks good. All interactions have been corteous.

He was supremely professional. He explained that he would be glad to do the job but was obliged to get to his established customers' gutters first (the early freeze this year made it tough to complete those jobs). I appreciated his honesty and commitment to his existing customers. He was apologetic asked that if in the meantime I found someone else to clean the gutters could I call him to let him know. I did find another company but called Mark back and asked to be added to his customer list for future cleanings.

Everything has gone very well despite some unforeseen challenges in rebuilding our front steps.

They maintain a list of customers who request their gutters cleaned in the fall. They did a great job.

They are reliable and do a good job -- several of the houses in the area all use them. I received a compliment on my yard from one of my neighbors.
