I had a breaker that had worked for years, then suddenly started to just trip off consistently. There was an issue with a line that was run underground to exterior lights. I bought the Angie's list deal for 2 hours, and they were able to immediately fix some of the outlets on the circuit and provide a recommendation for fixing the 1 remaining asset on the circuit which still was not working, my outdoor pond lights. The solution they provided was cost effective and they set up an appointment for the following week to fix them. They called to schedule the second appointment, and came and fixed it within hours of their call. They were prompt, helpful in explaining what needed to be done, and recommended a solution that happily fixed my issue without having to dig up the existing lines. Yes, I would use them again. I will be calling them back when I need additional work. ---- Update on this review, the new switch for the pond light went out in December. So the temporary work around only worked for 6 months. While I did like their solution and the guys from the company were accommodating, I was disappointed that the end result was approximately $450 for a six month patch. I am back to no lights and the breaker tripping. Because of that I have decided to update the rating to a C for quality. Once spring/summer hits, I will likely be looking for another electrician to re-wire.

It went great. Job went well and was finished on time.

The guys showed up and worked to get the job done. They did have to come back to finish because of sidewalk being poured, but they came and got it done.

They did a great job. Very professional and neat. The remote switch was a great idea and is so cool it is also a dimmer. My husband is elated to have electricity in his shed.

They were nice, even supplied the smoke alarm, only thing is there were only here about 45 minutes

I left a message for Chesterland Electric on a weekend, and received prompt response. An appointment was scheduled for the following Thursday. Technician arrived promptly, assessed the problem. Gave a quote and repaired the problem that same day, all within approx, 30 minutes. I did request approx quote on updating some other work which was very reasonable. I also asked for a card for my daughter in Willowick who needs updating on a home they are purchasing. All in all, a wonderful transaction and I highly recommend Chesterland Electric.

He repaired the fan and the light fixture on one day and had to return to fix the doorbell since I had to purchase the parts. He worked very hard and completed the projects in a very timely manner. He was very personable and very professional.

I CALLED ON 3/25 FOR THEM TO COME TO MY HOUSE AND LOOK AT SOME CEILING LIGHTING. WE MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR SUN. 3/29 AT3:00. WELL HE NEVER SHOWED. I CALLED HIM MON 3/30. HE APPOLOGIZED-HE WENT OUT OF TOWN AND GOT BACK LATE-WHY MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU ARE GOING OUT OF TOWN, OR CANCEL BEFORE YOU GO? HE TOLD ME HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME AFTER CHECKING WITH HIS WIFE TO SEE WHAT SHE HAD LINED UP FOR HIM. AS OF FRIDAY AFTERNOON I HAVE NOT HEARD FROM HIM.

Excellent service call. Bob was on time, polite, answered several questions I had and even called me back the next morning with a price quote for another job I need completed. I would call on the company in the future for other household electrical needs.

They were very good. They were excellent. The service went very well. We had a special then they came out real quick and did a great job. The service was excellent. They did a pretty much high quality of work and they knew what they were doing. They were very punctual. I will use them again.

On time, professional, and did a great job. We purchased the electrical service with an Angie's List coupon from the provider and so glad we did. We would definitely use Chesterland Electric again!

I can't sing enough praise. All the work was done professionally and at a much lower price than a competing bid. It's great to find an excellent local contractor.

Tom and Bob showed up right on time and ready to go.They had to cut a hole in the kitchen for the new outlet.Also had to remove the old panel and had to cut a much larger opening for the new one.And when they were all done you would never known they were there very neat clean and i think doing all they did in 5 hours tells you how professional they are.Would recommend them to anyone great guys and a great job done! I was disappointed in the fact that 2 people were sent to do an easy job and we were charged another 2 hours for the 2nd person. The job was done as requested, just don't think we should of been charged for the extra person. It should be stated that 2 people would be coming to the job site......they also were only there for an 1 1/2...that equals 3 hours.

It went ok but I had to pay a little more for materials. The materials were very reasonable. I am happy with it and I think I got a good price for the work that I needed to do. And it seems like everything is in order.

The workman, Bob and his son, were very respectful of my property and very knowledgeable of what had to be done. They accomplished the job quickly and efficiently and with the most pleasant of manner. I was totally relaxed and felt I could trust them to answer my questions truthfully. I would definitely have this company back to do any more work on my house. I am so pleased to have found such wonderful, reliable folks. I had originally left an email on Labor Day and was contacted immediately the next day in the morning and had set up an appointment. I can't say enough good things about the company and the people working for them.

Showed up on time. Worked the exact amount of time purchased. Installed 8 GFI Outlets, even though I thought the time would only permit for 6 outlets, so that exceeded my expectations. We talked about a couple other projects and then they gave me some contact information and left. Everything went perfectly smoothly, no problems whatsoever. The cost of materials for the GFI Outlets was less than what other companies are charging, which also exceeded my expectations.

I called and left a message in the late afternoon on Monday and Tom called me 20 minutes later and arranged to come to the house Friday morning of the same week, according to our household schedule. Tom and Bob showed up together right on time and listened to what I wanted addressed. Our house had non-working outlets in three rooms, some power outages on the well pump circuit without tripping its breaker, and a breaker for the kitchen outlets that buzzed when loaded, but was not tripping. They each worked in separate circuit breaker boxes and identified a number of visibly heated old breakers, some doubled-up connections, and a few corroded old wire ends. We wound up having them put in five new double-20-Amp breakers (to split out the double tapped connections) and replace a ground fault interrupter breaker in one panel and move around some existing breakers that were still in good shape to keep some unused for spares in that box. They marked off two spaces that had burned bus bar connections so we would not use those locations in future. In the other panel, the corroded ends of a couple of wires had to be clipped off and stripped back to re-attach. These fixed our problems, as they verified. They had to leave to pick up the new GFI breaker but came back the same afternoon and finished up quickly, adding pre-printed labels and blanks to cover the bad slots in the one panel. These are really nice guys, both of them and they know what they're doing. They didn't try to sell us anything we weren't asking for and I will definitely call them again for electrical work at our house.

Everything went well, on all the visits from this provider.

The job was well done. Tom and Bob were efficient. The job entailed removing a piece of the wall in the basement and running the wires up through the ceiling into the floor of the Great Room. The job took about an hour and a half. The installation was perfect. The piece removed from the center was replaced. The work was done on a Saturday so it wasn't necessary for me to take time off from work, which was really appreciated.

.They always get back to me promptly and take care of electrical needs at a fair price. I have used them for a number of years.

He came in here before the bad weather hit and in a very short time did quite a bit of complicated electrical connections for us that another electrician had come to look at and threw up his hands as to the complexity, and wanted to tear up the basement of our house. Chesterland did a very compact, neat job on the outside of the house that is barely noticeable and was right up to code. He also added a couple of outside outlets for me to make my life easier. Very nice people to deal with. Price was high, but problems complex and equipment was not cheap.

After coming out to see the proposed work, they never replied to our calls or letter. So we never did get an estimate. We found someone else to do the work, and were told that Chesterland Electric had done substandard work for us in the past (metal pipe instead of plastic under the driveway for the lights). It only lasted a few years, and now we need another repair. They are not our electrician of choice any more.

They were excellent. I have used them numerous times and every time I have been very pleased. They are very prompt and knowledgeable on their subject and their prices are also reasonable. I would recommend them to anyone.
