It was great. Dave Fraley is the gentlest, kind person I would ever want to meet. He is just super. The work got done when he said it was going to be done. The fencing was here when he said it was going to be here. The guys that installed it were terrific and professional. I just couldn’t have been happier. He was not the only subcontractor that we interviewed on price. He is going to be coming back over and taking out another section of the fence for me. He assured us that there was going to be no problem doing that and we are very confident with him.

The patio railing and gates matched the deck railing. Cedar Grove provided a good written estimate and information in order to assist in obtaining HOA approval.

Cedar Grove Fence Specialists leveled some aluminum fence installed by another company. They were prompt, provided a reasonable estimate, were courteous, did good work, and cleaned up afterwards. Above all they understand that "the customer is always right" - but are willing to express an alternate opinion. Overall we are very pleased!

I purchased a concave cedar fence from Cedar Grove fence back in 2006. Some of the boards in the fence, were either warped, split or broken and I wanted them to replace those boards for me, as they had previously done the work. They replaced approximately 100 boards. It is an extremely long fence on a corner lot, so there were a lot of boards that needed to replaced. I also wanted to take out a portion of the cedar fence that faced the street and put in a concave vinyl picket fence. They originally came out on the 3rd. of August to do the fence. They replaced all the boards that were bad. Took out the portion of cedar fence that faced the street and put in the new vinyl fence. After the vinyl fence was installed, I told the installer that fence, was not the fence I had originally ordered. I called David on the phone and he came out the following Monday to look at it. He called me back later that afternoon, to tell me, he had ordered the wrong style of fence and that he had re-ordered it and it would be in by the 20th of the month of August. They called me early this afternoon on the 19th, to let me know they had the material to re-do my fence. They came out and re-did the fence and I now have a 4' high vinyl concave fence to match the concave cedar fence, which is also 4' high. The fence looks awesome! Thank you Cedar Grove for a job well done.

Originally contracted Cedar Grove via their web site. They were quick to come out and give me an estimate for vinyl fence (what we thought we wanted at the time). I also got additional estimates from other fence companies. I went with Cedar Grove basically because of the price. I contacted them to say we selected them but wanted to change to wood. I was told that someone would get back with me shortly. Thats about the last I had any conversation initiated from them. I had to constantly contact them. They would never give me a schedule, "just maybe next week". Then out of the blue some workers show up on a Wednesday unannounced late in the afternoon and drop off posts. No notification at all. They show up after lunch the next day and work some, then nothing the next day. I had to call to find out what was going on. The reason I was told was that they were really busy with storm damage problems. Would have been nice been told that. I constantly had to call to find out what was going on. Don't get me wrong, the guys actually putting in the fence were great!, however the head shed leadership left a lot to be desired. I heard more from the companies that didn't do the work then them. I certainly voiced my issues with them concerning communication. In the end they did do a beautiful job on the fence. Oh, I have to add the boss was quick to contact me for final payment, Next time I won't make the mistake of basing only on price, good customer service is worth the extra money.

I was well pleased with their work. They had to come back for a couple of warrant protected problems and even gave me a few extra materials. I did feel the price was a little to high though.

The crew started and completed the project earlier than we expected. Everyone involved in the work seemed professional and hardworking.
