They are very prompt so you don't wait and they have a blood draw laboratory on site. They are pretty good.

I've been seeing Dr. Machanda for a couple years now for various ailments. I think he's great. At first, I can see patients thinking two possible negative things about Dr. Machanda. First, he looks young. However, this has no bearing whatsoever on his ability as a doctor. And I suspect he's one of those people (like myself) who just looks a lot younger than he is. Second, he can seem a little hurried sometimes. However, I've found that he's very willing to take the time to explain anything you have questions about. The fact is, I think he's just a very serious doctor, always focused, so he doesn't get into a lot of chit-chat. I've been impressed by his knowledge. If he doesn't know something (I've had several rare conditions) he researches thoroughly.
Description of Work: Went to see Dr. Machanda at BGFP for my diabetes/blood sugar. He's my primary care physician, and I think he's pretty awesome.

Medically, they seem reasonably competent and friendly, at least for children, although many appointments are with nurses rather than the doctors. However, the office management is a disaster. They have short hours (approx. 9:30 to 4), so this is very inconvenient for working parents, and there have been times when I arrived during office hours and they were still closed. Wait times tend to be quite long. One time, I made an appointment for a flu vaccine for my child, and arrived to find out that they had used up the last dose and not even notified me before coming over. Another time, it took multiple calls and visits to get a camp formed signed, and that was after a large delay caused by their sending me a letter by regular mail that there was a (nonexistent) problem with the form, rather than simply calling me. This happened again today, they waited almost two weeks after I sent in a request to send my children's records to another doctor to send me a letter that I have to first pay then over $50 for photocopying rather than calling me (or simply sending the records as a matter of professional courtesy).
