They were late, but it went well once they got here.

Arrived as promised and competently provided a single coat of sealing. Sealer used was as expected given the reasonable cost and adequate given the condition of the driveway.

The work was fine but they were so late in the day that I had to finally leave figuring they would show up the next day. They were impossible to reach as all you got from 3:00 in the afternoon was a recording. No one called and no one returned my call(s). When I got home the job had been done.

Excellent! On-time and they did an excellent job, better than expected!

It was okay. I had them fill some cracks and they charged for that. It was difficult trying to reach these people. They sent me an email stating that the service was going to be done on a different date. I sent them an email back asking them to confirm. Originally I got a different date from them when a gentleman called me. I wondered which date it was going to get, but I never heard back from them. Filling the cracks was going to cost an additional $50. The email said if I wanted them filled all I had to do was to put the check under my front door mat. I put the check on the front porch where you could not miss it. When I got home they had done the job but they did not fill the cracks. The check was left there. There was no communication, that was the only thing I did not care about. They were not readily available to talk to the customers. To make the service better they could have called me and/or answered my email. They did not respond to me like I think they should have. They did come when they said they were going to come.

Very well, our driveway had needed attention years ago, but money was always needed for something else like furnace, roofing, etc. We saw the offer on Angie's List and decided to give it a go. CO Blacktop dug out crumbled areas, patched holes, sealed cracks and removed the vegetation that had pushed its way through the cracks. We did have to pay more than the initial offer, but it was well done. When I checked with other driveway and ashphalt companies, the cost was substantially higher.

Work was originally postponed due to rain. Then service was forgotten when weather cleared. When reminded, they immediately scheduled me. Service provided to my scheduling needs. Note: If there are any cracks in asphalt larger than a pencil, they will need to be filled for an additional charge of $50 before sealing. Thick coating of sealant applied which has dried resisting water. Work done quickly and efficiently

The work was done on 10/13 and it looks great. However, we're not happy with the way it occurred. There was no communication from the company after we bought the deal. What happened was that one of the workers knocked on the front door. I was home alone and don't open the door, plus I was getting ready to shower. I know someone else in Clintonville who had just had their home burglarized because they didn't think anyone was home. Same situation - wife was home alone and some punks broke down front door because she didn't answer the door. So I wanted them to know someone was home. By the time I got downstairs, I saw the guy from a side window, but he was walking away from the front door. So I peeked out the back window and saw the guy looking around and looking down the alley way. Since I had no idea to expect the workers, and this was highly suspicious behavior, I knocked on the window so he'd know someone was in the house, tried to shoo him away, turned on my security system, and called the police. After calling my husband at work, I looked outside again and my driveway was being sealcoated. I called the police back to cancel the call, but was upset by this drama. I was on my way to a job interview. What if my car was in the garage? Why no call to alert me they were planning to do our house that day? My husband was planning to edge a bit more before they came. I could come up with a half dozen more questions and potential issues. I emailed the company a week ago with this story and a pledge to not report the details of this unnecessary drama if they could assure me they would change their methods to be cognizant of the need to work with the customer for scheduling. Just showing up and shrugging your shoulders when someone doesn't answer the door to an unknown guy with a backward hat isn't the way to operate. No response at all from the company.

I purchased deal, blacktop sealing, gave dates for work and he replied that only day left would work was Oct 14th.Two days from purchase date ? I couldn?t do that quick, so e-mailed back, and it took him 3 days to reply. He said he could come back on 19th (sent the e-mail late on the 18th). I replied to the e-mail ? yes, please confirm. Made arrangements to be home from work, ect ? he never confirmed; showed up; nothing. I know he had B rating, but I thought I?d give them a shot. E-mailed them back; but he hasn?t responded. I wish he would've been better about following up with me.

I'd say that this was the best seal coating I've had. It was so neat and tight. I've never had a seal coating on my driveway as good as this

The provider came to do the work when I was not at home even though I had specified a time on that day when I would be home. When I got home, I saw that the lawn had been aerated but I could see no seed on any part of the lawn. When I contacted the provider by phone and explained the situation, he became very belligerent and said the seed had been spread and I was calling him a liar. I told him I was not calling him a liar but I could not see any seed and I would need him to come back and show me what I was missing and/or spread more seed. He said he would come back on October 7, to seed the lawn but he did not show up on that day. One the next day, I tried to contact him by phone but got no answer so I sent him an email asking when I could expect him to come back. He responded in an email saying that he had tried to call me to say he could not make it but could not reach. It tuned out that he was calling the wrong number. He again was very belligerent and accused me of trying to get service I was not entitled to and was slandering him and his company. In the email, he talked about coming to do the work on Wednesday, October 12, but also mentioned not coming back and just refunding the money I had paid for the service. I responded to his email and asked him to confirm if he was coming or not. He sent me another ugly email saying he was not coming and he would make sure I got a full refund. He again threated me with some action if I slandered him or his company. I assume he is talking about any information I might share with Angie's List regarding my experience with his company. His talk of slander is ridiculous because I only talked to him about my observations of the lawn and those of my neighbors that I asked to look at it. They agreed that they could see no evidence of seed on the lawn. I also took pictures of several areas of the lawn. I would be happy to share these pictures and the emails he sent me with Angie's List. While he said in his October 9, email that he would provide a full refund, I am not confident that he will do so. As of this date, he has not responded to the emails have I sent him asking how the refund will be provided since my payment was made to Angie's List via credit card. I have tried to reach him by phone but the calls rolls over to an answering machine and I cannot leave a message because the voice mail box is full. Up to this point there has been no credit transaction to the credit card account I used to render payment for the service. I have had many positive experiences with the service providers I obtained through Angie's List but this one has been very unpleasant and will certainly impact possible purchases I may make in the future. The behavior of the individual I have had to deal with does not reflect well on your great company.

They were no responsive and once appointment was scheduled they weren't able to be contacted to confirm special circumstances. Eventually got an e-mail with a date and a call late the night before. Confirmed they would come the following day refused to call ahead or provide time frame. Called to check status and end time mid-day they said they weren't coming at all that day. Were not accommodating in reschedule and were unprofessional. Had to request a refund

They did call me, but the call was very late in the day and they left a message stating they couldn't find my address. I called the number back that they gave me and never received an answer back and every attempt to call back, I just get the full mailbox voicemail announcement.

Came on Tues Oct 4th and completed the job in less than 2 hours.

Sealing went well. I did ask them to seal a crack but they forgot. Other than that it looks nice.

Great! COB arrived at the time promised. They used high quality sealer after preparing the driveway ,and gave good instructions following application. I have used other companies in the past and there is no question these men did the best job ever. I recommend them highly and will have them back in the future.

Fantastic. They called to reschedule because they were not able to get to me on the scheduled day, and then when their suggested dates didn't work, they came out and did my driveway in the same evening. Kudos!

They have done very well over the last three years. Today they worked on the decking and field work. They brought their own materials. I've hired them to come back next week.

I have used them for the past 3-4 years for lawn aeration and they sealed my driveway twice as well. They are very reasonable in price and the aeration machine does nice size plugs and I was really pleased with that.

Scheduled for a Saturday appointment and they said work would be completed by 4pm. Never showed up. Called them later that evening and left message. I did receive a return call in which no apology was made, just an excuse they must have overlooked the address on their sheet. They offered to return at a later time at full price. I did not accept the return appointment because they didn't seem to care about the fact they didn't show up in the first place. Very unprofessional company, would not recommend. They did however manage to complete my neighbors driveway (just not mine) and the coat was really thin, cracks showed up again the next day.

Great job! No hidden charges. Nice, professional customer service. Having never owned a blacktop driveway before, we were unsure how to go about caring for our driveway. It's obvious it had been sealed in the past, but we didn't know when. By chance, I think a flyer ended up in our yard.The price was right, so we called, they answered all of our questions, showed up on time, did a great job! We will use this company again, and tell our friends about them!
