Excellent, reliable, honest. I can't say enough positive things about my interactions with this garage. They helped take care of my daughters car while she was at University of Dayton, 4 hours from me.

It went well. I had my tailpipe hanging low because flanges broke loose. I took my vehicle to my normal dealership, but they would only replace the parts. I am not very handy but a repair seemed pretty simple, but the dealership would only replace (not repair). Replacement of the exhaust system would have cost $1200. Most of this was parts cost and very little labor. I read a review of something similar done by Muffler Brothers and the cost was $100 for them. I called Muffler Brothers and they described something similar over the phone. I got right in, the repair took less than 45 minutes and the repair cost $100. The exhaust is still working fine and I have had no issues since.

When I arrived, the lot was full. Doug asked me to leave the car there and said he'd call me back with an assessment. He did so promptly. He said that the pipe had failed but that he didn't want to sell me a new pipe. He said that the exhaust system was made of good material and was still in good shape and that he could cut off the two ends of the failure, make a collar and join the two sections back together again for less than $100. Doug was true to his word. Now I know why the lot was full.

Started out with the guys stating all of the facts about the work they were about to start. In this case, I asked them to review and determine the reason for the loud exhaust from my 1977 Chevy Truck, which I still treasure. During the course of the explaination he stated he would have to custom make the exhaust piece in question based on the exam and the quote with a best case would be around 400 dollars approximately. I was still stuck on the fact they were custom making the exhaust for my truck and the price assuming all went well seemed very reasonable. What actually happened was nothing short of amazing: 1. They communicated extremely well on the status in the truck and their progress 2. They resolved the issue and execute exactly as they stated 3. They came in exactly on budget for the stated quote Outstanding outcome.

I took my 2000 Toyota Camry to Muffler Brothers because the exhaust was getting loud and I had been quoted $1200 to replace the entire exhaust system from Midas. I had asked Midas if there was anything they could do to make it cheaper because it was a 13 year old car. They said no there was too much wrong with the exhaust system and it had to be completely replaced.
I took my car to Muffler Brothers in Bellbrook to get a second opinion. I told them if they could fix it for $200 to do so, and if it would be more than that to call me. That was at 8am in the morning. When I hadn't heard from them by 2pm, I gave them a call expecting the worst. They said the car was done and it would be $85.00. I was a little bit suspicioous that they were able to fix the problem so inexpensively. But they said it was a short section of exhaust pipe that had a hole in it. They welded in a new section of pipe and the Camry was back to being as quiet as a mouse. That was last year and my car is just as quite today. Trust Muffler Brothers of Bellbrook, you'll be glad you did.

OK, they aren't 100% perfect, but who is. Actually the only thing I can think of that they EVER screwed up was finally on this last visit on my wife's car. Her one wiper blade was bad and we asked them to replace them both. I guess since they were fixing her AC with its diagnosis and condenser replacement, fixing that really squeaky driver's door that needed a 'link,' and doing the Lube/Oil/Filter, the wiper blade replacement just got overlooked. It's not like they thought she wouldn't notice as the rubber was falling off on the one blade. They just missed it. They were very apologetic and she just stopped in the next day and they replaced the blade in a few minutes with her not even having to pull into a bay.
The next time you get an expensive quote from some other company I suggest you stop at their location and get a price from them, and also learn for sure if you really need the work done.
P.S. This was my first report and I just joined Angie's List today. Guess they are my favorite company.

I have absolutely zero complaints about this shop: Work has always been completely in a timely and quality manner at very fair prices. Moreover, they do not try to "upsell" every minor repair job. It is always a pleasure to deal with them!
