These guys were pros and experts in fencing in every sense of the word. Jeff & Jeremy are brothers and they are a fantastic team. This doesn't sound like a complicated job, but it was. There are a large number of trees on the lot that we didn't want to have the roots damaged on, and the guys took special care to hand dig in those concentrated areas. The fence is very tall but expertly even and straight. I have a buffer fence with 2x4 grid, 6' high on the outer edge to create a maintenance perimeter, which was expertly installed as well. After the fence was up, we asked if they could come back and build us a nice 6 ft gate. The gate design is something that I came up with as I wanted it boxed in on both sides so it would look nice whether it was opened or closed. They quickly adapted and were able to modify it as I asked. It turned out beautifully. The whole fence and gate system are incredibly nice and the wildlife here has adapted to it nicely, as that was one of my concerns. They cleaned up after themselves, and took particular care & pride about their equipt. They used the dirt from the post holes to back fill any low spots on the bottom of the fence. I'd highly recommend that you contact Jeff and/or Jeremy for any fence installs. The level of expertise is phenomenal, and they are very patient and will answer any question. They also offer solutions based on their vast experience which actually serves to help those of us who are complete novices when it comes to fencing. This was a very expensive fencing project due to the height of both fences, the gate and the length of our long lot, but I really like it alot more than I originally thought I would. We've already had them come out again to help us with our trees, but that's another great review.

A O S was contacted about giving me an estimate to replace my fence. My dog could jump the old fence. Jeff came out as soon as possible. (bad weather hampered the entire project, certainly not Jeff's fault). I received Jeff's estimate, as well as several others. Jeff was very easy going, no high pressure, and very knowledgeable about fences. (Jeff was the only bidder that my dog liked). I chose A O S to do the work. They encountered more obstacles than anticipated (I have some unique and difficult portions of my yard that they had to deal with). It took longer than Jeff had anticipated. However Jeff, his brother Jeremy, and co-worker Jamie didn't complain or try to cut corners to make up the time. They were all very friendly and professional throughout the entire project. They worked long and hard, even on a Saturday. Everything was completed according to the estimate given. No attempt was made to try to get more money for the project. I feel they went above and beyond the call of duty, and I would not hesitate to use them again, or to recommend them to someone else. THANKS GUYS!

Jeff and his team were awesome! Jeff worked with me to provide several quotes for a few layout variations when I would change my mind. Once the materials arrived, the job was done in 2.5 days. There was a little portion of the fence on a hill that our dog was trying to get under; I asked Jeff if he had ideas how we could block this off and instead of giving me ideas he said, "I will be out in the morning to fix it." And there he was the next day (Saturday, even). The fence looks great, the team was professional, and they gave us the cheapest quote. Great job, guys!

We could not be happier. They gave us their bid. Kept in contact with us before the work was preformed. Answered all our questions before and during the work. Came on time. Worked hard. Hauled off some additional branches at no extra charge. They were friendly, polite, and very professional. Best of all, the fence is fantastic: straight, sturdy, solid and it looks great!

They did an excellent job. Pride in their work and wanted to ensure we were happy. I couldn't be happier with the fence.

The new privacy fence looks amazing, and was installed in less than 2 days. Jeff was very professional and answered all of my questions. I have a small dog and was concerned with all the hills in my yard that a fence would be full of gaps at the bottom. Jeff explained how the install they can install the boards individually so that the fence follows the contour of the yard to prevent gaps. The fence was installed sooner than originally estimated, looks great, and keeps my dog secured in the yard. I would highly recommend AOS fence.

They built a privacy fence in our yard and it's really beautiful. They took time to make sure it was what we wanted and we couldn't be more pleased. They left the yard looking great, like the fence had been there for years.

AOS was very punctual. They had a delay from the original date due to another jobsite. when they showed up they went to work. Had all the post set, next day the did the wire mesh and the face boards. third day was half day and they completed all the gates. the entire crew including the two owner worked hard and were super nice.

The fence posts are secure in the ground.

Our experience with Jeff and Advanced Outdoor Services was great and I would absolutely recommend them to others. He was responsive when I first contacted them for an estimate, took time to understand why we needed the fence and how we were using the space, and recommended some options that would work. Jeff sent me the estimate quickly and it was within the range of quotes we had gotten from other vendors. When we had a question about how changing the fence style would impact cost, Jeff responded promptly with a second estimate for us to consider. Jeff provided clear timelines on when they would be out to do the work. They recommended that we set the gate posts before ordering the gate itself, just in case they ran into something unexpected, which I really appreciated. While installing the fence itself, Jeff and his crew made a point to check in with us a few times to ask how things were looking or how we wanted the fence to be leveled. Jeff even came with up with a great creative solution for creating a removable fence section at a very odd space between a neighbor's fence and our garage. Once the fence was done, they made sure to walk us through the job, show us how the gate worked, and answer any questions. They came back a couple of weeks later to install the driveway gate--coming early on a Saturday morning after working a 90 hour week--and again made sure to ask us how we wanted the gate set up (vs. just doing it and assuming it was fine). They were glad to offer their recommendations when we weren't sure. Once they showed us how everything worked, they let us know to contact them with any questions. Overall, I was very impressed with Jeff and AOS and would hire them again.

Excellent! They showed up on time, very professional. They worked all day and hand built the fence and gates onsite. Quality materials used, not from Lowe's or Home Depot. They finished on time as they told me they would. It's beautiful, it exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Jeff and his brother Jeremy. I would gladly send pictures of my fence to future customers. I got their name from Angie's List after looking at the reviews. A+

Jeff and his brother Jeremy were Fantastic! They put a split rail fence on our new property. From the time Jeff showed up for the estimate till the day they finished the job... everything was absolutely top notch! Professionalism and customer service cannot be beat! These guys are great ....In today world it is very difficult to not only find someone to show up when they say they will but then to get them to work??? That isnt something you ever have to worry about with this team- they show up when they say they will almost to the minute and the entire time they are on your property they are working - I had 3 other companies tell me it would take a week to 10 days to do my size fence... Jeff and Jeremy showed up on Tues and left my house on Thurs at 830pm, even worked in the pouring rain... the entire neighborhood is in love with their work and asking for their info ... people in the bank at the top of the street commented about what an excellent high quality fence and how quickly they completed it... trust me there are some fast workers but it normally will show in the workmenship...... With AOS you get fast quality work!!! My only regret is that I didnt know about them on other properties ... I will definitely use them whenever I need any of their services..... THANKS Jeff and Jeremy.... outstanding job!!!!

Very easy process with Jeff to get estimates and info. Jeff, his brother and two others arrived as scheduled and finished job in two long days. They all were professional and worked hard to do the best job possible. We are very satisfied with their work.

Jeff and crew just left my house. I have never been so impressed with a company and the people running it. From the initial contact to the estimate to installation, Jeff & crew are top notch professionals. Knowing that I had dogs that were escaping from the old fencing, Jeff recommended guide wire to secure the bottom of the fencing to the ground and deter any attempts to escape. It was a very small additional cost, but the peace of mind it provides is tremendous. He also worked us in as soon as possible and then when another client delayed bumped us up even earlier. Everything in the yard, down to the last piece of displaced mulch was returned to the original condition. They filled holes, cut stump roots, wacked weeds, etc. - whatever was necessary to ensure that the fence was as escape proof, as possible. I really felt like they treated protecting my pets as if they were their own. I cannot say enough positive about this company, the people and the work ethic. Not only do I have a secure fence, but the quality and craftsmanship is outstanding as well. The new fence is beautifully well done. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

Jeff and I played phone tag for a little bit due to their busy schedule but we kept trying due to the positive reviews we read here on Angie's List. When we were finally able to have AOS out to measure and give quote they were very nice and professional and even finished measuring in the rain. We quickly received the quote and after getting a few other estimates decided we wanted to go forward with AOS. We contacted Jeff and let him know. Jeff took care of getting the permit for us and they were even able to fit us in in the same week. Jeff was extremely responsive as we were planning time. They started work on Wednesday and finished it on Thursday. Everyone on site for the job was professional and they cleaned up everything. The fence is absolutely beautiful. They took time to show it all to me including the explanations of why they did the three gates the way they did. My husband got home approximately 15 minutes later and they took the time to review all the information all over again with him. We were both extremely satisfied with the fence and the service we received from AOS. We would use them again if we needed and we highly recommend them to others.

I received quotes from a few different fence companies in the area and Advanced Outdoor Services was the best value. Jeff & his team did a great job repairing my fence and securing the wire so my 2 dogs couldn't get out. He is easy to get in touch with and returns calls quickly. I recently called him because my dogs were getting out, he sent some guys over within a day to get it fixed for me. I would highly recommend them.

The workers came out right away, because they knew I was in a time crunch. The fence was put in in two days. The workers were personable, and they did the extra things that I wanted at no charge. I'd give them an A+ if I could.

From my first meeting with Jeff and Jeremy and throughout the installation, they were extremely professional and knowledgeable about what would work best for my yard and circumstances. They explained the pros and cons of various types of privacy fence and types of gates. They were always timely with responses to phone calls and emails and thoroughly addressed my numerous questions and concerns (without making me feel as though I were asking too many questions). They helped me keep the cost within my budget and spelled everything out on the estimate (which was emailed to me). They patched holes in the existing fence and worked to ensure my beloved pup could not find her way out. When they were finished, they helped me understand how to care for the fence they installed. In addition to performing excellent work, they were extremely pleasant to be around, friendly, and seemed to enjoy what they were doing (despite it being a few very warm summer days when the work was performed).

They were very punctual and thorough with the quote process and split the quote into several parts as we asked. Their quote for a pressure treated fence was higher than some of the other quotes we got but their quote for cedar was lower than others. We opted for cedar. Once we selected AOS, they gave an estimated start date of approximately one month later. When I contacted them a week before they were supposed to start, they said there would be a delay because two of their employees had quit and one of their machines was broken. I thought this would mean a delay of at least a month or maybe more, but they emailed the next week and said they'd be able to start that week. We liked that AOS's owners were always on site as part of the work crew. They worked on a holiday (4th of July) and worked through less than ideal weather to make up for the delay. They were very thorough with clean up at the end of each workday and they were conscientious of our neighbor's space as well. With the exception of the initial delay, AOS provided excellent service and we are very happy with our new fence.

The company did a great job in getting us quote in April and was patient while we investigated other vendors and got approval from our HOA and the city. Once everything was squared away. They worked long hours to get the tree and fence installed in 1.5 days. It was great to work with this company and I plan on using them in the future and recommend them to all my friends and neighbors.

Although it was initially difficult to coordinate my schedule and Jeff's (owner of AOS Fence) he was very professional, and called when he said he would. Once Jeff and his crew started the fence they completed in 2 days with excellent quality. Jeff is very knowledgable about the products and looks at the "entire picture" to make sure the installation goes smoothly and efficiently. Jeff was always available for any questions I had and answered them accurately and quickly. I am extremely pleased with our privacy fence and with Jeff and AOS Fence. I would definately use Jeff and AOS Fence in the future for any other services I needed.

They were extremely professional. They worked with what we wanted, but also what limitations we would run into. They were honest about the product, and what we needed for our project.

I got AOS's name from Angie's List., along with several other fence companies. Jeff was prompt in responding to my call and showed up at my house on time. He was quick to email me several different bids (we were considering vinyl vs. wood and wanted comparisons). After receiving a number of bids, I finally informed him that we were going to go with his company but changed our minds on some things, he promptly revised the bid and emailed the same day. Communication was good and he kept us informed of when they would be out to build our fence, which was several weeks out. Jeremy and Jeff, brothers and owners, are the nicest guys you could meet. They are courteous, professional and just really conscientious of their work. The guys cleaned up after themselves and were just pleasant to have around. The other reviewers are correct, these are folks you wouldn't mind having as your next door neighbors. They knew we were building the fence for our dogs and children, and checked in with us if the wire mesh on the fence and side gates was to our satisfaction so the dogs couldn't get out, and that the gates swung shut automatically if the kids opened it and didn't shut it. They made sure to have the post and fence in alignment with the curves (we don't have a straight backyard) of our property. When there was an unexpected snag with the placement of the side gates because of a drainage pipe in the ground, they were able to troubleshoot and create a solution and hand dig holes to ensure our drain pipes wouldn't be hit by the auger. Our backyard looks fabulous with our new fence and we have gotten compliments from our neighbors. Now our yard is the dog park of the neighborhood, everyone has brought their dogs down to run around and play. I also found out that Jeff and Jeremy do tree work, and will be getting an estimate from them later this summer to cut down dying ash trees in our yard. They were not the cheapest bid I received, but as my father always said "cheap is expensive and expensive is cheap" in other words, you get what you paid for. Im glad I read the reviews here, and I highly recommend AOS if you are thinking of getting a new fence or need repair work.
