Had been taking both cars into Ron's for a while on the recommendation of a friend, but we don't any longer as a serious problem with the engine oil that Ron just didn't seem to be able to solve sent us elsewhere. 
Noticed that the engine was going through oil all of a sudden after a major service at Rons including a valve adjustment.  When we took it back in several weeks later, Ron diagnosed that the valve cover was improperly installed and wanted about 400 to take care of it.  When I pointed out that he had actually been the last place to take the valve cover off,  he THEN checked his records and agreed.  However, the car is still going through a quart of oil every 2000 miles and it never used a drop before that service.
Might have been a coincidence, but we won't be back.  Just don't trust his advice anymore.

I had this this shop for 30 years and had been satisfied or so I thought. Asked Ron the owner to   change my brakes and he just adjusted them I had a noise by the wheels he said it was the brakes,one of his  workers said it was the  bearings .you'd like to go for service where they know what the their doing

It turned out our very old car needed too much work as compared to its value. Ron was very helpful and advised we not repair the car. The drive belt was missing so I couldn't drive the car. Ron went out of his way to get the car back in our driveway at no extra charge.

They are very good at all aspects of car repair.  Very customer friendly, knowledgeable, professional.  You can have full confidence that you are not being taken.  They are completely honest.  The pricing is on the high side, but the quality and integrity are worth it.

Ron has been extremely trustworthy.  If I have a problem with my car, he works with me to say yes this is something that should be repaired, or no this is going to cost exorbitantly to be repaired.  So he is extremely honest and extremely knowledgeable.  They keep track of the tire rotations and all of that so they tell me when I need to do it and when I had it done last. 

Service was prompt.  I also had asked that the spark plugs be replaced, but Ron called me and said that the car company's recommendation is 100,000 miles for my model.  I had thought it was 50,000, so I agreed that it should not be done. 
My husband took this car here a couple of months ago for diagnosis of a problem.  Ron found the problem, fixed it, and it's been A-OK since.

They have really personal service.  We've had a good relationship with him since our first visit. He works to get things done in a reasonable amount of time.

amWent in with a none-too-specific description of something clunking in the rear - they found, the first time, a stripped toe rod, which is not something that usually fails, so not an obvious find.  They had to order the part, and I had to return for a second day - the part was ready and the work was completed as promised on that day.  Ron also noticed (as my other mechanic that I've been with for 15 years or more had not) that one tire had been replaced (nail) and was lower quality than the others - offered to find a comparable matching tire.  When I went in on the second day two of the mechanics and the fellow at the counter matched me with my car before I said anything.  It's obvious that not just Ron but also the other guys that work here are paying attention and "get it."  Two thumbs up!

You can trust him. He gets things done on time and the price is right.

He is very personable and really seems to get to know his customers. A lot of his customers are lifelong customers. He builds a good rapport with his customers. He does a good quality job.

We are there every couple of months. They do all the service and maintenance on our vehicles and we have gone there for years and years. They do everything from a $20 oil change to a major replacement. They are fair and fairly priced. They don't do work that doesn't need to be done. We've never had to take a car back for the same problem twice. They are friendly and courteous. We are very happy with them and they get the work done right.

He saved me a lot of money over the years.  There was a problem with my brakes when I was out of town.  My brother took the car and got it fixed.  The people who worked on my car saved the brake pads which he told me was a not needed.  So when I went in August, he replaced the brake pads free of charge.  He is personable and helpful.  I have a hearing loss and I don’t hear the little noises that others might hear.  He picked up on my hearing loss with just some conversations with me and he always makes a point of taking my car out and driving it around the neighborhood to see if there are any noises.  I asked him if he would do that and he said that honestly he did it because he knew that I had a hearing loss.

It went well. We had been hearing a "roaring" noise at highway speeds; we thought it was an exhaust system issue. We took it to Ron's; they diagnosed the problem as a bad wheel bearing. They fixed it that day, and the noise problem was gone.

He is professional, honest, and responsive. His price is not bargain basement but isn't out of line with most other car repair establishments. I highly recommend his shop.

I called to make the appointment requesting an oil change , winterize, new battery and tire rotation . When I picked it they told me my batteries was fine for now but they keep a watch on it and let me know when I need a new one. They also didn't do the tires as they had been done the last time. I LOVE that he keeps track of my car and save me money when he can safely. I have hearing loss so Ron always takes my car for a test run to be sure no noises need attention. About 5 years into my being his customer I mentioned that might be a good idea, he told me had doing it for years. Ever since he noticed I was reading his lips. Highly recommend!

Ron's work is top-notch. Ron corrected a cold-starting problem which another shop was unable to fix, and provided solid repairs on suspension / exhaust systems. Ron offers trustworthy and good quality work.
