Brothers Aluminum is one of the best Contractor's that I have ever used. George and Elias immediately return phone calls/answer e-mails/texts on time. They have an A rating with the BBB, they are also members of NARI which is why I chose them. THey have also been in business for 30+ years, so I figure I'd give them a shot. I made an appt with Elias, he arrive on time when he said he would. He looked at what needed to be done and then drafted an estimate of the work. The price they gave me was not the lowest nor were they the highest. It was the price that would cost to do the work. We agreed on everything in the Contract. I am a little nitpicky when it comes to things so I took a little while to select the tiles and the fixtures and facuets and everything. However, after all the material arrived at my house, I called Elias and George and booked a starting date. I'll tell you, what a marvelous crew of hard working individuals they have. The crew that they sent, was at my house everyday at 8:00 a.m in the morning (Monday thru Saturday!!!) and they worked non-stop till 5:00 p.m and sometimes later. The crew kept my house clean, and did nothing but the best of work. They were there every single day, until the job was fully completed. Any concerns that I had were immediately met and taken care of. On top the bathroom work came out amazing, the downstairs renovation came out like a million dollars. The bathrooms came out great. I wish we could post photos on Angie's list so I can post a picture of how the renovation came out. Overall they are the "Contractors" for me. Negotiation and pricing was a great experience with Elias. He was a real professional, and they will work with you to get your business. I showed him some other parts of the house that I was concerned about, and he sent some of his team to check it out and patch it up, even though it wasn't part of the siding job. The communications were always professional, and he really worked with us to ensure our being comfortable with everything. While the work was happening there were a few mis-communications that resulted in some of our small trees near the house being removed (some were dead due to salt water exposure anyway, but we didn't realize how much others had to be cut to get the siding on the house), but Elias and Brother's rectified what they could, and did a little extra landscaping work and removed the debris. I appreciate their honesty, and their trying to do the best in every interaction with their customers.

They are a blue ribbon vendor on Angie's list, I know that. My experience with Brothers Aluminum Siding was, you know - there's just too much to say. I wouldn't even know where to begin. It was a very drawn out process. The overall experience was very good, but we had a lot of kinks along the way, and we had to, my husband was thankfully home on vacation and he really stayed on top of them, because if you don't stay on top of them they cut corners. From start to finish, they actually finished in July, the week of the 22nd of July. I'm pretty sure that's when they ended. They do have a bit of a high price to begin with. They were very responsive. Whenever I had an issue I knew who to call - they were very responsive. I would definitely use them again.

I decided to use Brothers Aluminum to do my siding and walkway since I had a good experience dealing with them when they did other work at my home last year. I was very impressed when I called and they were able to immediately pull my records. I was happy that they sent me the same rep I dealt with last year as he was nothing but a pleasure to deal with during the whole process. I could not decide on the color of my siding and he surprisingly brought me large samples of quite a few colors for me to choose from. He also provided me with numerous addresses to look at homes done in the various siding colors which was most helpful in making my decision. My rep also went over styles of pavers for my walkway and also send me to the distributors to look at the actual bricks that would be put down for my walkway before the work was done, to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It has been my pleasure dealing with Brothers Aluminum and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone for any type of home improvement work.

I called for an appointment and never received a call back

It was excellent. So far, it's fantastic. I think that they were competitive. They're not cheap but their price is what it should be. What we thought we were going to spend is what we ended up spending. They did beautiful trim. The owner is right on top of it. He is there. He answers the call. He let us put some of it on a credit card. He is very good. He spent time with us and he is very attentive. He does excellent job. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone without a doubt. Update.... Sept 3, 2013. The job is done and the house is spectacular. We just installed some professional lighting to complete the exterior. The look of the house is beyond our expectations. We are thoroughly satisfied with the total outcome.

Bill from Brothers came to my house after Sandy and gave me a verbal estimate for my siding to be redone on the from of my house.now after 9 months of me fighting with my insurance agent, they want a more detailed estimate and I asked Brothers for one (a month ago) but never heard back. I called again yesterday and they said my job was too small to give a written estimate. Mind you that the estimate i got from Bill was 5K (good price) but of course they wont put it in writing. Carol was very nice to deal with over the phone. That is not good customer service to keep calling the customer to arrange a date to have work done for 8 months but when a detailed estimate is needed you pull out of the job! BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY....... ONLY LOOKING FOR QUICK MONEY!!!!

We had several estimates from very reputable roofers. Mike was cordial and very professional. Additionally, they beat out the competition by several thousand dollars. My suspicion was that they had to make up for the lower cost somewhere ( skimping on materials, poor workmanship, etc) but they did the job ( as far as I can tell) that met the standards of a properly installed GAF roof. Brothers Aluminum has the GAF "Master Elite Roofer" accreditation. My only criticism is the post installation service they've provided. I noticed a leak in my bathroom a few months ago and assumed it was due to an overflowing rain gutter that I subsequently cleaned. I patched the leak and several weeks later, the wall was growing damp again. This time I removed portions of the wall down to the ferring strips and noticed that my vent pipe was there. I couldn't really determine if the vent stack flashing and or boot were properly installed but because the old stack had chunks of old tar missing, it appeared as though the boot wasn't thoroughly stealing the edge. I placed several calls and around 1.5 weeks later was called at 7:50 in the morning ..however .. no message was left and in checking the call logs the next day ( Sat) I determined that Brother's had called. The office submitted another work order. Again, no appointment or any expectation when I would get a call so I was basically a prisoner in my house hoping for the call. About 4 days passed and a workman came over and went to the roof and applied what looked like black caulking to the edge of the boot. Two days later it rained, and the leak continues. Called Brothers again and they said they would submit a work order ( Jun 8, 2013). I also called the person who came to the house and told him that the roof was still leaking. He said "OK .. I be back next week with the roofer.." now I'm thinking .. who were you if you now need to bring back the roofer? It's June 13 ... no calls from either him or Brothers. I took a risk and climbed a ladder and coated the entire vent pipe and boot with tar. I can't c ontinue to live with a bathroom with two gaping holes. Again ... great installation except for the vent pipe. Not enough attention to detail and very poor process in placing a service call with no idea when you'll be called back

In the past I haven't used larger contractors because with the professionalism came with a lot of extra cost but Brothers Aluminum surpised me. Mike Vangelatos came to our house on time, was super friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all, in fact he pointed out the items we didn't need to waste money on which was very helpful and one of the reasons we chose him. He also helped us coordinate the colors or the siding and garage roof to match which paid off in the end. The best part was the price, which was about 6,000 less than another large contractor in the area. Work was done on time, they had different crews that specialized in each thing windows/siding/gutters which was great because each crew really knew about what they specialized in. They also cleaned and hauled any debris away. All in all a great experience and we hope to use them down the line when we need the roof of our house done.

WE DID NOTHING MORE THAN ASK A FEW QUESTIONS.... HE SEEMED TO BE UPSET THAT I WASN'T GOING TO BE PRESSURED INTO SIGNING THE CONTRACT RIGHT THEN AND THERE, AND I GUESS HE IS MAKING SUCH A FORTUNE THIS YEAR ON HURRICANE VICTIMS ROOFS HE JUST DECIDED HE DIDNT NEED OUR BUSINESS... While we are still waiting on insurance funds to complete any work, I felt the need to compliment the professionalism we have experienced so far. I have been talking with many contractors since Sandy damaged our home. It is amazing how any of them stay in business. However, Elias from Brother's, has been a pleasure to work with. He arrives for appointments on time and calls to follow-up but is never pushy and is always willing to provide answers and more information whenever necessary. Our process has been a long one so far and he has had to complete multiple estimates as the scope of work has changed. I have been very impressed with the experience and hope to write just as good of a review if/when we are able to get the work completed.

I give them my highest recommendation. They were very responsive from start to finish. I worked with Kris who was always available. I have a beautiful new roof. They sent 9 men to be sure the roof was done in 1 day before the snowstorm.

They did an excellent job. He was prompt every day and was excellent. The house is beautiful now. They did the gutters too. They were very pleasant, and I'm very happy with them. I would use them again. I would recommend them to anybody who has a similar problem.

I called their office for an estimate appointment, they called me back the same day, and arranged the following day to be at my home for a pricing meeting..I found their Sales representative Billy to be very knowledgable, who told me he has been with the company over 30 years..we established the work needed to be done, and agreed on the price...I received a phone call from his office by that afternoon confirming that the workers would be at my home the next morning..at 8:00am his crew was there, and working...the work was finished in a timely manner. What surprised me once again was the fact the crew left my home spotless, and took away all debris. I have recommended Brothers to quite a few of my neighbors, and friends, and they in turn had the same comments about them.

I used this company because they were recommend by Angie's List in the Angie's List publication. Initially when they quoted pricing for me, I wanted them to show me the original price for the work and then show me the discounted amount. He never did give me a price comparison on this. This company got started 3 hours late. The supervisor told his men to start before he arrived but I told them that I didn't want the workers to start before the supervisor started. The work seemed to be done OK however the day after the work was finished I noticed a roofing tile on the ground and also that one of my windows was loose. When the supervisor came out to inspect the problems he had an attitude. He called his workers to ask about the problems I discussed with him. I had to tell him that I wanted this fixed and he finally agreed to fixing this. I also showed him a chip on my fencing and I told him that I needed them to fix this part on my fencing as well. Work was done fairly well except for problems noted above. I used this company on good faith knowing that they were highly recommended by Angie's List and I decided to not get other estimates from other companies. UPDATED 1/4/13: After leaving this review, the company contacted me and came out on Wednesday to rectify all my complaints. I believe the problem was with the particular representative that I dealt with. But the company is a good company and I was pleased that they were willing to fix any issues. For this reason, I have changed all their grades to A's. I am still pursuing the 5% discount and need documentation that that was calculated into the final price.

Elias met with us and provided an estimate that was in the lower range of quotes we had received for the work requested. Elias showed a willingness to work with us on pricing and to accommodate our schedule. We decided to use Brothers and the job took about three weeks from start to finish. His crews were timely and professional. Quality of work was satisfactory in all respects. We were very pleased with the work performed and it all held up well through Irene last year. We did have some damage caused by a falling tree limb during Sandy. (No wind damage.) So I called Elias and he came out the following week to give me an estimate. I agreed to the $1,500 quote to repair damage to the gutters, siding and roof. No need to get another quote based on my first experience. His guys were there later that day and made everything look great again in short order. Work took less time and materials then expected, so he discounted his original price! I am very pleased with our decision to use Brothers Aluminum. I believe we got a lot of value from them, as two of the original 5 estimates we received were $10,000 higher, while another was $5,000 higher for essentially the same work.

The representative was very professional and the estimate provided was very reasonable. They were responsive and provided quick answers to all my questions. While we ended up not utilizing their services, that was due to a decision go in another direction. Would recommend them based on our experience.

After I emailed the company I did get a call from Ferris. We need not go into detail but my advice is to beware!

From the estimate with Mike to the final day, everything went smoothly. We discussed everything several times with Mike, had a contract written up with everything we wanted on it and Mike had all the work done with no problems and always a smile on his face. One group of men did the concrete and another group of men did the deck work. If we had any questions or did not like something that was done, we called Mike and the next day, it was fixed. These are a wonderful group of men who are very polite, respectful and hard workers. I am having a new stoop and staircase put in the front of the house in the Spring and will definitely call Mike again.

Our 2 family home needed major work. Needless to say we didn't know where to begin. We called Brothers Aluminum and were told Alex would call us to make an appointment. Within 2 hours Alex called to set up an appointment for an estimate. Upon meeting him we were pleasantly surprised after having gotten 4 other estimates how well prepared and knowledgable he was in answering all our questions. Based on the work that needed to be done at the same time, we were hesitant and uneasy and wondering how quick, efficiently and economically this would work. Alex came prepared with samples, colors, pictures of kitchens and bathrooms as well as addresses of other similar jobs they completed in my area (roof) so I could see their work before starting our own project. The effortless time he spent with us and all the questions we had by far were answered on the spot, which was not the case with others. We waited almost 3 weeks to get 2 estimates out of the 4. The next day before noon we had prices and within 3 days work began on our home. Every worker that participated in the various jobs that needed to be done was clean cut, well mannered and did a great job. Overall the entire job was completed on time with no delays. We are extremely pleased with the outcome (better than we imagined). Not only have we recommended Brothers to our friends but 2 of our friends have contracted jobs with them that are currently in the process of being done

Teddy promptly came to give me an estimate, and I was pleasantly surprised that the job was able to be started that same week, two days later. Andreas was fantastic, very professional and accommodating and patiently answered all my questions and concerns. The job came out great, Andreas's son and the other 2 installers were very hard working and nice. I would definitely recommend them.

This job was a diaster from start to finish and then some.
