 + 0 moreGot several estimates for about the same amount and just decided to go with Quality. Sidewalk and Belgian blocks were put in first, just before Hurricane Sandy hit, the driveway was done separately a couple of weeks later. The sidewalk looks great, as do the Belgian blocks (well, an asphalt driveway just looks like an asphalt driveway). One minor complaint is that there were a number of cement nuggets left on the lawn. The cost actually ended up being less than the estimate.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced concrete sidewalk and asphalt driveway, installed Belgian blocks around both plus a garden.

 + -1 moreMy contact was with with their office staff and of course the workmen assigned to my repair. I cannot provide any criticism of the professionalism exhibited throughout the process. Nor can I complain about any phase of the workmanship. They were terrific and I would not hesitate in any way from recommending them or using them again.
Description of Work: I contracted with Quality Blacktop Services for a basic re-seal of my driveway as well as a limited repair to a small damaged protion of the driveway.

 + -1 moreOn 9.10.12 I called Quality Blacktop Services & spoke to Anetra who was very pleasant & polite on the phone. I explained to her that I would like to get my driveway seal-coated. I was asked how many cars can fit into my driveway & was given a quote. I explained to Anetra that I had some cracks in my driveway that I would like addressed. I was given a date of 9.12.12 for a date the job would be done in the a.m. Steve was nice enough to stop by on 9.10.12 as he was in the area & check out my driveway. He explained to me that if they used filler on the cracks it would stand out more after job completion because they were small cracks. He said he would tell his men to give a little heaver coat to the cracks so the velvet top would fill in. Max & Tomas showed up on time & did a very clean & professional job.

 + -1 moreQuality Blacktop provided an estimate for sealing my driveway by using the Internet with my address. The cost was reasonable so I decided to use them based upon my review of their Angie's List recommendations. The representative was always very polite on the phone and understanding when I had to cancel my first appointment. On the day the work was to be performed she gave me an approximate time for the crew's arrival. The two men who performed the work were courteous and meticulous and the driveway looks great. I will definitely use Quality Blacktop Services again.

Steve postponed the job one day because of the weather, called me to reschedule, and was able to complete the job without requiring my presence. Quality Blacktop Services was good. I would use them again in a heartbeat

 + -1 moreBased on Angie's List review, I called for an estimate. Like others, I was provided a quote on the phone using my address and an estimate as to how many cars I could fit on the driveway. I was given an appointment for the following week but I then asked for the earliest possible appointment. They were very accommodating and came the very next day! Workers arrived early in the day, weeded along the Belgium blocks, blew off the driveway and also filled in some cracks for just an extra $10. Service and quality was top notch, would recommend to friends and family.

Person I spoke to on the phone was courteous and very professional. Price was given and agreed to and date to perform the task was set. I was told to call on the morning of June 19th to get approximate time crew would be coming. they arrived as scheduled and did a great job sealcoating my driveway. I wholeheartly recommend Quality Blacktop Services!

 + -1 moreAll aspects were fine. Got estimates on both replacing or seal coating asphalt driveway. crew of 3 showed up on the date schedules. They repaired 3 spots where the asphalt was being broken up by grass growing thru. They sweep, blow gunned the driveway clean and applied a layer of seal coat.. driveway looks great. Crew was very good and polite and had the whole job done in about 45 minutes. Highly recommend.

They lived up to their reviews. Would highly recommend for quality of work at a competitive price. We live on a major roadway and the job was completed with no damage to property or blockage of roadway. In/out in 3 hours!!! A++
Description of Work: Had to rip up and remove remaining driveway after a cesspool project, level and properly grade and then pave with 2 inches of asphalt. Then, sealcoat the apron at end of driveway.

Description of Work: I had searched for a blacktop company by asking friends and co workers and was dissatisfied with what I found. Many didnt bother to call back, some were unprofessional and some just were too pricey. I then joined angies list and found Quality. I saw some good reviews and said hey, let me email them. In around an hour a woman who was one of the most professional people I ever ran into on Long Island (reminded me of my manhattan days) gave me a call. refreshing! a person with a brain! and a nice woman too. She already had a price for me based on my google shot. I was floored. She said she could be there in 2 days, gave me a price and no pressure. I said yes! Thursday comes they are there, did the job and left. And a wonderful job indeed. I cannot recommend them more highly. The experience from start to finish was masterful. And it all started with that woman who called back. No snarling, raspy voiced, typical long island rep here, nope. Totally professional which sold me. To the owners, give her a raise! she is worth her weight in gold. I cant recommend them more highly and they will be coming back next year and in years to come and have my highest recommendation.
