We called on a weekend and they came right over and were very quick and friendly.

My wife stayed home from work for, what I was told, an 8:30am Adams Heating and Cooling appointment. I was at work when my wife e-mailed me at 9:10am stating that Adams was not there yet. I checked my mobile phone and saw that Adams had left a message at 9:03am. The message stated that a technician was available and if I did not call back within 10 minutes, they would send him onto another job and I would have to reschedule. Also included in the message was that the appointment was made for the time period 8:30am to 12:00pm, for which I was not informed of when I made the appointment. I was told 8:30am. I will be using another service.

Cleaned furnace, vacuumed pipes, changed and adjusted nozzle. Checked exchange - the regular.

I initially found Adams through Angie's List. I had just purchased my home and had them out to clean the vents for my forced air heating system. In the past I had heard bad things about this type of work, but due to recent demolition work, I needed debris cleaned out. The reviews on Angie's List and my subsequent phone conversation with an Adams rep led me to move forward. The two gentlemen who came out to clean the vents were nice, knowledgeable and professional. They exceeded my expectations. A few weeks later it dawned on me that I aleady have the ductwork, why don't I think about central a/c? I immediately called Adams based on my initial experience. After providing them with some basic info and a few photos, they gave me a price. It was affordable! They told me I needed to upgrade my electrical system so once that was done, they quickly scheduled the install. In less than a day, I had central a/c. And it is wonderful. I wasn't home when they did the work, but everything went smoothly. I highly recommend Adams.

The tech's were very knowledgeable neat and did a clean installation especially when you consider how many lines had to be run. Only one chase down the side of the house enclosed all 4 connections. Prior to the install I had seen other installs which had multiple chases and they looked less than clean...

Adams did a great job. A serviceman was not available when I called, so a supervisor came out and made the repair. Heat came back on and everything was great.

Bill from Adams called before coming and arrived a couple of minutes after doing so. He was very friendly, professional and informative. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and tested it to verify that the furnace was in good working condition. I definitely recommend Adams (especially Bill) to those with HVAC issues.

Sales representative was professional and informative. Quote was higher than another bidder for the same product, so I went with the lowest bidder. Had the price been lower, I would have definitely considered hiring this company.

The installers were very professional, and seemed to know exactly what to do. The installation went smoothly and the finished results looked very good and neat. They had to solve some problems as they went along, such as where to vent the furnace to the outside, and where to install the thermostat. These were all handled well. The office then guided me thru the procedure for obtaining a rebate from National Grid. I was impressed and would recommend Adams Heating and Cooling highly.

The overall installation went very well. They showed up on time and cleaned up after they were done. Took 4 days to complete the whole project and they arranged it so we did not lose hot water. Ran into some issues with electric work but they stayed late to get the job completed on time. The job was done professionally. The only problem was that the boiler stopped working after about a month. They came in and fixed it although it took a couple of days to get the part in. I think it's an issue with the boiler itself instead of installation but I don't know for sure. Overall, we were fairly happy with the project

Bill did an excellent job. He was very knowledgeable, performed the routine maintenance per the contract, answered my questions and investigated my concerns.

They showed up on time, answered all of our questions, and were very professional and knowledgable. The system has worked very well for the past 7 years. We had one small problem and they came the same day to repair the problem.. I highly recommend this company and the people who work for them.

They are very professional, very thorough, gave as a quotation on the furnace and A/C, we have several attempts to pick from.

Within two hours of making a call to Adams about our broken hot water heater, the technician arrived at our house. A diagnosis was made and we were given several options that were clearly explained. We decided to go the route of repairing the hot water heater with a new "pilot assembly". We were told it could take several days to get the part but were pleased it took only one day. The repair was performed quickly and efficiently. We now have plenty of hot water.

The installation went smoothly and was completed on a timely basis. When completed there was nothing left to do but turn on the system. Excellent experience.

We have used Adams heating where we lived previously and they are always dependable and cost competitive. They were here when they were supposed to be, did a fantastic job and routed the PVC exactly as I asked. They always have experienced people who know exactly what they are doing.

I can not remember how much it cost but I did call a couple of other companies and I know that they did offer a competitive price and their availability was really good. What I liked is that they were on time, the gentleman who actually did the duct cleaning, he was very friendly, very respectful of having to get into areas where my air ducts were so a lot of ground to cover with regards to furniture being in the way. And he kinda had some difficulty because my ducts are older so he had to actually drill a hole within them in order to get some of the cleaning equipment within it, but he patched all the holes that he had created. And he cleaned up after himself so that was really appreciated.
